Welcome to Alcove! A luxury retreat & vacation rental just one block back from lively & historic downtown Fredericksburg, TX! This recently remodeled home is truly nestled in a premier location, just off Main St. It boasts luxury throughout; lovely outdoor space harboring a hot-tub, grill & firepit where you'll be able to enjoy nights outside after a long day of exploring Fredericksburg. This home is ideal for couples, families & groups of friends who want luxury & want to be near Main St! You're just a short walk away from great food and shopping like The Red Baron Antique Mall and Crossroads Steakhouse off Maint St., making it perfect for a getaway with your loved ones to enjoy a change of scenery.

The house consists of two bedrooms (two king beds), two bathrooms with luxury walk-in showers and delicate custom glass doors, a pull-out couch (queen bed). Our luxury kitchen comes with a HUGE granite island and top of the line stainless steel home appliances,making it the perfect place for your family cookouts.A stunning dining space that sits up to six people at once and a living room area, that has been perfectly designed with an open floor plan and beautiful vaulted ceilings that accents the beautiful home. The home also has a brand new driveway for off-street parking space for 2 cars and plenty of room for on-street parking if you need extra space. Additionally, this house consists of a big veranda with nearly 500 sqft of covered outdoor living as well as a fire pit, a private back deck named "The Alcove," a grill, and a spacious and completely private sitting area perfect for a family or friend to get together.

At Cozi Vacation Rentals, we take your health and safety very seriously, and it is and will always be our top priority. All of our rentals are being cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards after every stay with our cleaning service, Cozi Cleaning Company. All of our licensed, insured, 5-star trained cleaning team members are wearing masks, gloves and are disinfecting/sanitizing each home after each stay.
We are following all of the CDC guidelines, and we are proud members of the Texas Hotel & Lodging Association and the Vacation Rental Management Association (VRMA), where we are closely monitoring and following all of their guidance for cleanliness and guest safety precautions.

*In lieu of a damage security deposit, where most companies charge and over $500, and where you as the guest risk these companies not returning your damage deposit, Cozi does it differently by charging a one-time non-refundable $49 fee which provides up to $5000 of coverage towards unintentional rental property damages (subject to plan terms and conditions) that could occur during you and your guests stay. Plan terms and conditions will be provided to all guest reservations after the time of booking. Any charges owed by Guest may be charged by Cozi to Guest’s card on file in addition to seeking any relief provided by law.

we regularly stay in vrbo properties and this was one of the nicest we've been in. great location. A/C worked great which was a huge plus due to hot Texas temps. definitely would book again!

Beautiful house with all the amenities! The beds were comfortable. Huge showers. Nice sitting areas out back in a quiet neighborhood. Yet, still close enough to all the downtown action. The check-in and out process was simple. Our host was available, although we did not need her because our stay included everything we needed!

My partner and I booked this house because reviews said it was peaceful and quiet. We were looking for something relaxing to do for our honeymoon and to be able to enjoy time away from our two small children. Everything was great but the only downside that I wish we were aware of was that there was going to be very loud construction next door starting at 7am and not stopping until 5pm everyday of our stay. It made it very difficult to sleep in or enjoy staying at the home during those hours. Would possibly book again once the construction is over because overall it is a great house.

Decided at the last minute to take a quick overnight trip to Fredricksburg. Found this reasonably priced house located off Main Street. It’s nicely furnished with an awesome back porch. I would absolutely stay again!!

My wife & I wanted to spend a few days in Fredericksburg to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We’ve been to Fredericksburg several times before but wanted something really special. We found in this home and it more than met our expectations! The Alcove is really a very special place. It is home that has been renovated and redone very well. Lots of amenities that made it special & very enjoyable to spend time there. About half the house is a great room with a living space, huge island/kitchen area and a bar. In the other half of the house are 2 nice bedrooms with 2 full baths. Finally, there is a gorgeous covered back porch with a wonderful hot tub along with a fire pit. Morning coffee on the porch is really special. A nice soak in the hot tub at the end of the day was perfect. We had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed our time at the Alcove. Highly recommend it as a special place to stay

We have visited Fredericksburg many times and we all agreed this is the one we loved the best. The house arrangement and back porch is beautiful, roomy and suited the needs of 2 couples very nicely! The management group was quick to respond to our questions and needs. Only one thing we'd suggest: sticker or gripper be put on the living room rug so it's not a tripping hazard.

Great house with pretty much everything you could need. Enjoyed the hot tub and back porch. Everything is new and modern. They have thought of every convenience. The beds were very comfortable. Checkin and checkout was very easy. Would highly recommend this house for 2 couples or up to 4 friends. Also very well located for walking to a number of places to eat and shop.

owners worked hard to check all the boxes. Just two small things could improve it from a hospitality vantage point. Better pillows and also some better hangars in the closet. Towel quality and consistency would also make it better. The interior design was very good and the back deck and hot tub were great. Kitchen equipment first rate. So why have mix and match old towels. We would definitely come back.

This property was immaculate and in the middle of everything! So convenient and the perfect size for 2 couples! Was so close to everything we wanted to do. We have stayed at many bed and breakfast places in Fredericksburg and this is one of my favorites! The house is modern, well decorated and extremely clean. Every detail was thought of and the kitchen is fantastic. The neighborhood is a nice place to walk and it is very close to Main Street. Melissa is an excellent communicator and adds a personal touch to your stay. You won't regret staying here!

The house was everything advertised and more. We’ve done many VRBO rentals and this was in the top 3. Great location - very short walk to many attractions. Back patio was a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy a nice glass of wine after a day of sightseeing, shopping or touring the lovely vineyards. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Highly recommend this cute house in Fredericksburg. Freshly remodeled and updated this was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The homeowner was very quick to answer any questions we had and made our stay enjoyable. The layout was perfect and the entertaining area in the back was perfect. We definitely will share our experience with others and would gladly rent this home again!
