Great, relaxed stay with a good view

The staff were friendly, great breakfast and the terrace is really nice especially for sunset. Rooms are spacious and each bed had a fan and plenty of plug sockets. The kitchen was well equipped as well and plenty of communal areas with hammocks. Good location on top of a hill for sunset !

Tolles Hostel

Die zentrale Lage und das Frühstück waren klasse. Man hatte vom Hostel aus einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang und viele Möglichkeiten zum Entspannen in der Hängematte.

Leider war es nicht das sozialste Hostel und als Alleinreisender teilweise schwierig. Die meinsten Leute reisen erst Freitag für Sunday Funday an. Davor ist das Hostel ziemlich leer

Fand’s richtig angenehm!

Lage war top! Es gab sogar ein kleines Sonnendeck, von dem aus man aufs Meer schauen konnte. Frühstücksoptionen, Kaffee und Handtuch inklusive! Günstiger Laundryservice :)

Keine Klimaanlage in den Dorms, nur Ventilatoren. Hat aber meiner Meinung nach ausgereicht. Das Anschalten der Klimaanlage wurde uns angeboten wenn alle im Dorm 20$ pro Kopf und Nacht bezahlen würden….

Great place to relax. Fantastic for nomads and co-working.

Great location. Super close to the beach and town but on a sides street so its very peaceful. Incredible sunset views. Great staff. Highly recommend.

Je recommande !

Dortoir de 6 pour femme uniquement, avec rideaux pour les lits du bas (si rare au Nicaragua !), casier privé un gros plus ! Oreiller et matelas super confortables ! Salle de bain avec crochets et tablette ! Plutôt calme et tranquille, rooftop pour le coucher du soleil, petit déjeuner inclus même si léger, le garçon de l'accueil est super sympa et nous renseigne vraiment bien pour tout !

Manque une prise pour chaque lit, une petite lumière également voire une tablette pour poser nos petites choses personnelles... Ce serait vraiment idéal s'ils rajoutaient un peu de confort pour chaque lit ! Dommage que la climatisation ne fonctionne pas dans le dortoir car il y fait très chaud... Frigo à partager : repenser l'organisation car sale et foutoir... Et malheureusement la pression de l'eau sur San Juan est très mauvaise donc compliqué pour se doucher/laver les cheveux.

Somewhat disaponting.

The bed size, the a/c worked very well and the proximity to the beach.

Understand it is a hostel, but if they are selling a individual room with a bathroom, for the price of a regular hotel room, we would expect some amenities in the bathroom and hot water. There was not a sigle soap, despite asking for it.

One great option to stay in san juan!

Nice location at the top of the street so the view tl the bay is great. Nice rooftop. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast included and tasty. Towels available for free. Dorms clean and with everything you need for a good stay. Lockers available. Good wifi signal. This was a quiet option to stay in San Juan del sur.

Look no further for a chill vibe

Where do I start… Saltwater hostel just reopened with a new look catering to the calmer backpackers / guests who are looking for a place to chill with other like-minded travelers. Less than 5 minutes away from party hostels, pubs and live music if that is what you are looking for. But, you get to return to a sanctuary after a night out! Free breakfast with AC dorm, fan dorms and private rooms caters towards every taste at a reasonable price. Married owners and staff are friendly and good source of information. The view above the busy beach scene is excellent with night noise level limited from the debauchery below. Look no further if the above is your vibe.

Bien mais un peu cher pour les prestations

Le personnel était gentil et l’hôtel plutôt bien placé sur les hauteurs de San Juan del Sur

Peu d’équipement (pas de place pour poser les affaires de toilettes, rien pour suspendre les habits.) Il y a eu un problème d’eau, la pression dans la douche n’était pas du tout assez forte pour se laver. On est donc allé se doucher dans les autres douches des dortoirs. Le personnel nous a laissé cette opportunité.
