Recently renovated with an eye for detail, this stylish and high-specification holiday home provides a contemporary and elegant holiday home.

Set in an elevated position, this holiday home offers unparalleled vistas across Salcombe town and the estuary. The views are truly captivating and ever changing with the time of day, prevailing weather and tides.

Designed with accessibility in mind, Beacon House features an accessible entrance (suitable for wheelchair users), an accessible bedroom with adapted ensuite wet room, and a lift (available when booked in advance), ensuring that every corner of this elegant holiday home is easily accessible for all our guests, except for the dining room.

There is ample private parking for up to five cars awaits on the driveway.

Accommodation Details

This holiday home offers contemporary living at its best. This detached house is flooded with natural light in all rooms and has been meticulously renovated to seamlessly blend style and comfort.

Full advantage of its elevated position has been taken in the layout of this house, utilising a split level structure. There is an overriding sense of space throughout this holiday home - making it ideal for families holidaying together or a holiday group. It offers spaces to mingle as a holiday group, yet equally important, there are also areas for you to enjoy some quieter moments.

As you step through the front door, you're greeted by a contemporary and stylish holiday home which is unfolds in front of you.

There is a stunning, spacious living room, with ample sofas to accommodate all of your holiday group. The living room is a bright airy space, with large patio doors opening out onto a private terrace. This room has a log fire, large TV and coffee table. We adore the swing chair in this room - making it the perfect spot to curl up and savour the views of the estuary.

The kitchen is a large open plan area, with a range of modern kitchen units and ample work surfaces for preparing delicious home cooked meals, if you wish or alternatively take advantage of our concierge services and have a private chef come and cook for you. It has an oven, hob, large American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster and is well stocked for crockery & glasses. There is also a spacious breakfast bar with bar stools - perfect for guests to sit and chat whilst others prepare delicious meals utilising the fabulous array of local ingredients. There is likely to be no shortage of volunteers to do the washing up given the fabulous views on offer from the sink!

There is also a couple of comfy chairs with a coffee table to relax to one side of the kitchen space.

The dining space is accessed off the kitchen down a couple of steps. There is a large table that can comfortably accommodate all guests. The dining space is a bright and light space which provides direct access to a further large terrace. This is the only room which is not accessible to those with limited mobility, as the lift does not stop at this level.

There is a spacious utility room with a washing machine and tumble drier, together with sink and ample storage.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

This holiday home has four stylish bedrooms - all of which have super comfy beds to ensure you have a great night's sleep.

The main bedroom is a light, spacious room with a king size bed and arguably one of the best estuary views in Salcombe to wake up to. It also has ample built in wardrobes, set of drawers and it's own luxury ensuite shower room.

The second bedroom also has great views of the Salcombe estuary, together with a king size bed and ample storage space for your belongings. This bedroom also has its own modern ensuite shower room.

The third bedroom is the accessible bedroom with direct access from outside suitable for wheelchair access and making it ideal for our less mobile guests. It has two single beds, a set of drawers for storage. It also has an accessible ensuite shower room with various grab rails. This room has estuary glimpse views from the side windows.

The fourth bedroom has two single beds, together with storage space for your clothes and luggage.

There is a further shower room off the utility room space for use by all guests.

All bed linen and towels are included in the holiday rental cost (excluding beach towels).

Outside space

There are two spacious terraces to savour the spectacular views across Salcombe town and the estuary.

One terrace is off the dining room and has a large outdoor table and benches - making it an ideal space for alfresco dining.

The second terrace is accessed from the living room and has comfortable outdoor seating to kick back and relax after a day out exploring.

There's a further outside area off the utility room, with a bistro table and chairs - ideal for catching some sunshine and enjoying a few quiet moments with a cup of tea.

Parking

Up to five cars can be accommodated comfortably on the driveway at this holiday home. The driveway is situated at the end of a private road.

A complimentary luxury welcome hamper awaits you on arrival and provides some wonderful goodies to commence your remarkable Salcombe holiday.

For guests with limited mobility, this house benefits from a level entrance via the accessible bedroom which has it's own adapted ensuite. There is also then a lift to provide access around the house, offering access to all areas except the dining room. The lift can accommodate a wheelchair and a further person. (Please provide prior notice that access to the lift will be needed at the time of booking.)

No smoking, vaping, candles or BBQ’s are permitted inside, on the terraces or in close vicinity to the house.

Children should be appropriately supervised at all times in the house and on the terraces

Please be aware there is no provision for the charging of electric vehicles or electric bikes at these premises. However, there is public charging points for electric vehicles nearby (2 in the Creek Car Park, Salcombe and further options locally).

This holiday home does not accept any pets. However, the owners do bring their own dogs on occasions.

There are external security cameras at this property which are turned off by the owners prior to and during all guest bookings.

There is a guest information folder at the holiday home which we've produced, in conjunction with the holiday home owner. This contains property useful specific details, together with local area information and should have any information that you may require during your stay.
