Acadia and Bar Harbor are about a 35 minute drive away. Definitely recommend to others and would stay again.

We absolutely loved this property - quiet location on a lake, but close enough to Bar Harbor, Acadia, and surrounding attractions. House had everything we needed with nice-sized bedrooms and full kitchen. Made good use of the firepit, grill, picnic table, and kayaks too! Would definitely stay here again.

This house was a cozy and quiet home base for our trip to Acadia. We had everything we needed for our family of four with easy access to stores and restaurants. The trip into the park was quick and easy. The private dock, kayaks and fire pit made this feel like a park experience with all the creature comforts you could want.

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend by the lake here and felt like it was such a quiet retreat. Everything was decorated and the views were spot on -- plus the red Adirondack chairs arrayed by the firepit were super inviting. We'd definitely stay here again.

Looked like there was a dump on the other side of the road. Parking was sparse. Don’t get local channels so not football!!! Pick the house up and move it somewhere else and get local channels.

We enjoyed a couple of nights in this charming home. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was a nice size for preparing meals. We relaxed by the fire and enjoyed the view of the lake. All 4 of us are coffee and wine drinkers so a larger coffee pot and at least 4 wineglasses would have made it perfect.

The house is located right near the downtown area and the lake behind the house provides a great view from the living room and kitchen. The house was very clean and had all we needed to enjoy our vacation in Maine! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We had a pleasant stay at Leonard Lake. What was great was the place was well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. From the kitchen pots and pans to the outdoor chairs. The lake was beautiful and having use of the firepit was great.
The only issue we had was the acorns dropping from the oak trees at night on the roof, which kept us awake and we came away with a few dents on the hood of our car. It would have been helpful if we were warned about the acorns. In the fall guests should back in and park more on the right of the house to avoid most of the acorns.

The view was beautiful of the lake. The home was extremely clean and had everything that we needed. I took advantage of the kayaks and just drifted on the lake drinking Champagne. Town is a mile away so it was an easy walk. Best lobster restaurant at end of street. Loved this gem

I would highly recommend this property, and we greatly enjoyed our stay ! It way a cute property on the water, peaceful, quiet neighborhood, beautiful amenities very relaxing and everything you need for a vacation. It’s a bit of a drive to the national park, but overall would highly recommend and would stay again.

No close neighbors. Great windows - felt like being in the woods. Loved the lighted make-up mirror in the master bedroom. Beds were very comfortable.
Quick drive to town. Close to other attractions such as Bar Harbor.
Well stocked with supplies with 2 exceptions. A box of Kleenex is always helpful. And there was a shortage of hangers for our clothes.
Both bedrooms have window air conditioners. But the one in the master bedroom has flimsy and poorly fitting barriers on either side of the a.c. and doesn't keep out the bugs or the cool weather very well.
Was looking forward to using the kayaks, but access to the lake to launch them was problematic.
Communication with property management was mostly easy and smooth. Did try to put the trash out for collection Sunday night for Monday a.m. pick up as instructed. We saw the garbage truck come and empty the other trash cans, but not ours. Contacted management and were told that they would take care of it, but did not.
Finally, be aware that the street is very rough and very narrow. A lot of trucks were going down the street at a high rate of speed.

This is truly a spectacular place. It has everything. You can look out the windows and see the lake. You can kayak on a lake that is so peaceful and relaxing. There is a fire pit, and the entire place, inside and out, is well organized, clean, and spacious. The location is perfect: far away from the big crowds but close enough to Acadia National Park. If you have never been to Acadia, then you are missing out.
I really can’t say enough about this condo. The owners love Maine, and you can tell by the way they have treated this unit.

We absolutely loved staying at Leonard Lake House! Not only are the views of the lake stunning, the house is well-kept, incredibly clean, and fully stocked with anything you may need. We enjoyed making dinner one night and having dinner by the fire pit on another evening. We cannot wait to return!

The house was nicely appointed for guests and the bed was comfortable. The appliances were new and worked well. The only things we ran into were that the propane was out of gas and there was no firewood. The customer service agents were quick to respond and assured us we would be reimbursed for the supplies we had to purchase.

This house is tucked away on a quiet lane but less than a mile from town. It’s very quiet and private. The sunsets on the lake were amazing and having kayaks there was so nice. The house was so clean and felt like it had all been recently remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need (except a toaster) and it’s so nice to have a rental house that provides toilet paper, linens and paper towels! Felt like the owners really put a lot of time and thought into the comfort of this home.

Highly recommend this lakehouse! The house sits on the shore of a lake that feels private. You can't see neighbors on either side. My family loved having kayaks on hand to enjoy the lake. We played corn hole and had fires in the fire pit at night. The house itself is clean and inviting. My kids said their beds were comfortable as was the master. We spent time in Acadia National Park while we stayed here and the drive was easy. We did not want to leave!

This is a lovely lake house property! The views from the house and dock are beautiful. The house is clean, updated and well stocked with supplies. We spent our days in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor which are within a reasonable driving distance. We loved Maine and it’s beauty, as well as the friendly locals and plentiful lobster! We spent our evenings relaxing at the house and lake. It was so quiet and peaceful! I would highly recommend staying here!
