About this house rental
Host your family of 10 in one of Tybee Island's best beach houses on Tybee's Back River. Enter the home on the second floor and into the bright, sunny living area. With French doors that open to the wrap-around porch, guests will enjoy lounging with a Summer breeze after a long day at the beach.
The kitchen is fully equipped and perfect for entertaining; guests can enjoy a cocktail at the island counter while you prep snacks for the beach. Everything you need to prepare a full meal includes an electric range and stove, a full fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, and ample storage space. A half bath is just beneath the stairs.
Upstairs, you'll find three bedrooms and an additional semi-private lofted bedroom. The first bedroom has a King-size bed with an en suite bath, a tub, and a separate shower. The second and third bedrooms (first with King, second with Full, and Twin Bunk with Twin Trundle) share a jack and jill bath with a double vanity and standing shower. On the third level, an open loft space offers a Queen bed with a Twin trundle. The loft has a private balcony overlooking Tybee Creek.
A full bath (with a separate shower) and an outdoor kitchenette are available on the ground floor. Guests are welcome to use any water sports equipment in the garage. The private dock is accessible through the rear of the house and leads to a covered patio with a table and chairs. Turn on the string lights at night for a magical evening under the stars. Kayak rentals are available at AJ's two doors down. While situated on Tybee Creek, guests are only a short ride away from local beach access.

Lovely decorated beach home that was just what my family needed. Lots of fishing opportunities to fish on the private dock. Super quick drive to the beach, or a nice leisurely walk if weather permits. Great location and neighborhood! Super communication from home management. We all loved our stay.

Great visit to the Back River on Tybee! Beach Music had everything you would need for a great stay on Tybee Island. Best of all it had a dock on deep water on the Back River. We had such a great time hanging out on the dock, swimming and enjoying the nice breeze on the river.

We spent a long weekend at Beach Music for my mother's 75th birthday and everyone had a wonderful time. There was something for everyone, including board games, TVs and a ping pong table for the kids. The adults enjoyed the well-appointed porches with stunning views and everyone found the home to be equipped with everything we could need to cook, eat and celebrate.
We can't wait to go back to this wonderful property!

This place was awesome. We spent every evening sitting on the private dock with the family watching the sunset and dolphins swimming by. Very relaxing, kitchen and dining area accommodated the whole family, professionally decorated. Parking costs at the beaches and in Savannah is not cheap. Would go back in a heartbeat.

MY COMPLAINT IS MAINLY WITH LUCKY SAVANNAH RENTAL. FAILURE TO RETURN BOTH MY EMAILS AND CALLS LEFT US CONFUSED. AFTER ARRIVING, AND TAKING OUT THE FIRST COUPLE OF BAGS OF GARBAGE THE NEXT DAY WE REALIZED THE GARBAGE RECEPTACLE IN THE FRONT CORNER WAS NOT OURS, IT WAS IN FACT OUR NEIGHBORS. MY WIFE CALLED THE RENTAL COMPANY, THEY SAID THEY WOULD GET RIGHT BACK TO US WITH A SOLUTION. I CALLED THEM BACK, WOMAN SEEMED CONFUSED ON WHAT TO DO, NEVER GOT BACK. 3 DAYS LATER ,TIME TO LEAVE, HAD PUT 9 GARBAGE BAGS IN GARAGE, CALLED RENTAL CO AGAIN. TOLD THEM A COUPLE OF CRITTERS HAD GOTTEN INTO THE BAGS AND MADE A MESS- HAD TO CLEAN THAT UP AND REBAG EVERYTHING, SOMETHING I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH DURING CHECKOUT MORNING.WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. HOUSE IS OLD BUT BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED. VIEW FROM DOCK IS WONDERFUL, LOCATION IS GOOD. FOOD FROM AJ DOCKSIDE IS EXCELLENT, WOULD I COME BACK, PROBABLY NOT.

We rented Beach Music for our daughter's SCAD graduation weekend. It was nice to be away from the crowds and heat of Savannah and the house is truly an "escape". It is so charming! We ate at AJ's - about three houses down one evening - get there very early for large parties and the food was good especially for a beach/bar atmosphere. We used the kayaks and paddle boards a couple of times which really made it fun for us too. From the back deck we saw loggerhead turtles in the water and an occasional dolphin!

The property is so gorgeous and within a walking distance to a lot of places like restaurants, grocery, beach access etc.The house is so pretty inside, it has a lot of character.The kitchen is complete with all things needed for cooking. We cooked a lot of food in the kitchen.I do not have anything bad to say about the house. We actually do not want to leave the house. Me and my family enjoyed staying there and will definitely come back.

We rented this home for a quick family vacation before the holidays, and everyone in our group had the same reaction as they walked inside: "Wow!" The home is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable - everything we could ask for. Watching the sunrise and sunsets from the dock everyday was incredible. It seemed like we saw pods of dolphins swim by every time we were out there! Conveniently located to everything on Tybee, it was really a perfect location. Very clean. Cleanlinesss could have been better - the sink on the dock was filled with trash from the last guests and there were some aggressive birds on the dock.

My family and I have stayed at Beach Music several times over the years. We always enjoy the stay. The rooms are comfortable and the location is fantastic. The private dock is a highlight on days with good weather, and we enjoy the living area and dining rooms for games, movies, and reading when we stay in. Always easy and always the perfect place to settle in and relax on the island. We highly recommend Beach Music for anyone traveling to the area!

This is a lovely old house with a really cool history. The ability to sit on the dock anytime is amazing. We were in awe of the changing tides and loved being able to see the back river and the beach/sandbar all at the same time. Sunsets are the best! The house itself is full of neat decor and memorabilia. It was fun to just walk around and take in the details. The location is very quiet.Something that might be helpful for potential renters to know: the two king beds are complete opposites- one is very firm and the other is very soft and sagging. The bedroom on the back river with its own private bath is the firm mattress. The front bedroom that shares a Jack n Jill bath with the bunk room is the very soft mattress. My husband and I would have preferred to sleep in the room with the private bath, but I cannot sleep on such a firm mattress. Instead, we shared a bathroom with our sons and gave our daughters the river view bedroom.A few suggested improvements:The house was not super clean upon our arrival. Hairs, crumbs, smears on walls, stained hand towel, clothing left in dresser and underwear left in washer, etc.Thicker and more abundant potholders would be great!A 9x13 pan would also be great.Extra blankets!Some plastic cups and plates would bring peace of mind to families with little ones. We love the dishes at the house, but also bought some paper cups for our kids to use during the stay. The glasses are either very heavy or fragile and difficult for little ones to use.The HVAC is very hit or miss and varies greatly throughout the house. This might not be easily remedied, but just a note. The back king bedroom was difficult to keep warm when it was cold and windy outside. We used the space heater there during the day, but turned it off at night because we also did not see many smoke detectors (appeared to just be one by the front door). Overall a nice stay :)

This was our first time to Tybee Island. We loved this house! It was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed! We spent most of our time on the porch facing the water or on the screened porch playing games. We hoped beach chairs were provided, but we were able to rent brand new chairs from Tim's ($5 per day). We thought the island itself was run down and we were surprised how many people smoked (even indoors). We liked the short drive to Savannah and spent two days exploring the city.

The rooms and comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need for preparing meals. Beach Music is an absolutely magical home in a wonderful setting on Tybee Island.From the moment we arrived at Beach Music, we were captivated by its open, airy living spaces, its well-appointed kitchen, and the natural light flooding in through the large windows. It's a perfect home for entertaining. The most special part is the covered dock. We had breakfast out on the dock every morning, cocktails there before dinner, and cast our fishing lines into the water in between. We caught enough fish for dinner one night... and caught and released plenty of baby sharks, which were fun to see! Beach Music is located on a quiet street but is a quick bicycle ride from the bustling center of the island. It is quite possibly the most wonderful beach home we've ever rented, and we hope to return as soon as possible.

We loved walking to the beach, spending time on the dock, and just enjoying being together. The Lucky Savannah concierge service was invaluable, helping us plan outings and answering any questions before and during our stay! Will be back for sure!

The location of the house was perfect for a winter stay. Being on the water, with the dock, made all the difference. Beach easy to reach with light winter parking and within walking distance if not brining anything. Looks like the town and beaches would be very crowded and busy in season. Kitchen had enough supplies to cook meals but minimal dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels and one hand towel to serve too many purposes.
