About this cabin rental
The Red Fox Cabin is truly in the valley of Maggie Valley. Seasons Cabin Rentals are nestled in the quiet community of Crocket’s Meadow & Mari’s Meadow. The 1,500 square foot Red Fox Cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 adults with two electric king-sized Beds and 2 adult twin beds. Each room has large windows and natural light throughout. You can sleep looking out to the snow or rain falling and wake up to the sunrise; Or just close the blackout curtains and sleep in.
Our kitchen is fully equipped with a Keurig coffee maker and a drip coffee maker and all the essentials to cook your breakfast; Or you can go to local favorite Joey’s Pancake House minutes from the cabin. We have a dining table that can comfortably sit 6. Also, a convenient large island for food prep or shopping bags, with two bar stools for extra sitting.
There is so much to do here in the Smoky Mountains, and we are next to the Smoky Mountain National Park and Cherokee Reservation and Casino. You have skiing, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, shopping and craft shows. The annual Folk Moot Festival with multiple international artists is a great cultural experience that is performed next door in Waynesville. Maggie Valley has many year-round festivals now including the Elk Fest in the Fall. Within an hour and half or shorter driving distance there is Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Lake Fontana for kayaking and boat rentals, Nantahala River for rafting/tubing and fishing. You can still be home by dinner for that nice slow cooked meal you started in the morning.
If you just want to relax and stay in the cozy Red Fox Cabin, you may want to sit out on the rocking chair on the deck and watch the colorful leaves drift in the fall. You may even see an elk herd walking by. Inside, we have a loft with a desk, chair and a recliner chair for those who need to get away for a moment and read, write or work. Our living room has a couch with 2 recliners and 2 swivel chairs where you can watch your favorite shows on TV. Here, we don’t have the rain or snow satellite worries. We like the cabin, but without the cabin fever.
We want to have our guests have easy access to the Smoky Mountain view without worrying. Can your car make it, or will you get stuck or trapped because of the scary drive? No stuck cars here, our roads are plowed in the winter by the city, and we are a biker friendly community.
For the friends and family, Seasons Cabin Rentals offers a brand-new cabin “Elk Haven Lodge” with all the similar amenities and more! Elk Haven Lodge is in the newly developed Mari’s Meadow which you pass on the right on Panoramic Loop. This masterpiece offers a beautiful, stacked stone fire pit and a post and beam carport. The carport will be completed by Memorial Day 2024.
Come and see from your cabin window, the beautiful, elevated views of the mountains surrounding you and have the true valley experience.

Wonderful stay in a delightful “log cabin”..tasteful and fresh decor, exceptionally clean, lots of pluses: water bottles, snacks, lotions, local restaurant recommendations ...owner was easy to communicate with and responsive..

The cabin was just what the DR ordered! Perfect in every way. The cabin was super clean and very comfortable. The owner is a pro and checked in with us to make sure everything was what we expected. Bruce was extremely helpful with questions regarding the area and a pleasure to deal with. This has been a great get a way and will definitely be back!
Thank you!

We had great stay in the cabin. The only thing we had to do was bring clothes and food, everything else we needed was there very clean and organized. When we come back we will make plans to stay there.

Cabin was very nice and clean. Property was super close to Tube World, Cataloochie Ski and other quick trips. We saw a large Elk our first day down the street! Fully stocked with amenities. We went shopping before we checked in but we didn’t need essentials. Love the adjustable beds too. Kids enjoyed the bunk beds and views from windows. Hopefully they can add a jacuzzi in future.

This was our second visit to the cabin, great place to stay.

My brother in law and I wanted to take my 10 year old skiing in Maggie Valley. This property was perfect for the 3 of us. Super close to the resort as well as the shop where we rented our gear. The house has everything that we needed and the host was both responsive and patient with me as I asked a number of questions. I’d definitely stay here again!

Cute house and great location. We had problems with the TV and had to have Julie come reset it for us. Apparently the guest before us had been playing with it. The TV box in the master was very hot and not working. Julie said we would get a new box but did not for the weekend. I would suggest leaving more that a roll and a half toilet tissue for each bathroom too. Also maybe housekeeping could check the tv settings between guest. Also may want to add the amount of parking available. Thank you.

The cabin is in a beautiful location, well equipped and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Maggie Valley without the death defying steep driveways! We got the added bonus of elk sightings every day! Beds were so comfy and the sheets were like butter. Sit out on the deck at night and take in the stars. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin located in a wonderful neighborhood with easy access. Views of mountains on every side. Watched elk wander through the neighborhood every day. Cabin was equipped with everything you need. We were there 2 weeks and it almost felt like home. Can't wait for our next visit.

This was the second time our families stayed in this cabin. (We stayed next door). One group with an infant and a toddler were there the first week, one group with a 4 and an 8 year old the second week. It was perfect. You can't beat the view or the location and it had everythng they needed for a great stay. We will continue the tradition of our family vacation next summer!

This is a wonderful cabin with gorgeous views and all the conveniences of home. Communication is great with both the owner and the property manager. I was there with my sister for this trip, but my family has reservations for the summer. This was our fourth stay in these cabins.

The cabin exceeded our expectations! The elk came to greet us on our first night!!! The cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. The furnishings were perfect and the beds were so comfortable! I highly recommend this property. We are already planning a return visit next year.
The only thing, you should know before booking is that it is located in a quiet cabin community. We had friends who also booked cabins in the same community. While the kids were playing outside (3-4pm ish) in a vacant grassy lot, we were quickly informed that the kids were not allowed to play there and reminded it is a quiet community by full time residents. I honestly can’t blame them but just thought families should be aware of this.

We fell in love with the Red Fox cabin. It was very clean, probably the cleanest rental we have stayed it, in excellent condition, and was very comfortable and well stocked. The open living room with exposed beams and large windows was beautiful, and a lot of care was put into the decorations to make it nice and cozy. The Christmas tree was a lovely treat. Reclining sofa and rocking chairs absolutely perfected our stay.
Owner was fantastic to communicate with and very helpful.
Red Fox's location is close to the ski resort and convenient to stores and restaurants in town. The area is a picturesque community and very quiet. We hope to stay again soon.

The property was spotless - not a speck of dust. The cabin was larger than we expected based on the photos which was a nice surprise. Great neighborhood - we did not bring our dog but it would be a very nice area to take your pup for a walk. We did a mix of cooking in and dining out - had everything we needed for preparing meals and restaurants are close by.
Great location for our long ski weekend. We had a good bit of snow on our drive from Georgia via Franklin to Waynesville to Maggie Valley. Roads were well-maintained overall, including the neighborhood. The snow was much lighter in the valley but it was clear that the roads were treated to prevent overnight refreezing after the daytime thaws.
Top notch - a great place to enjoy the beautiful North Carolina mountains.

We have been coming to Maggie Valley for Christmas week for 30 years, rented at least 8-9 different homes in Crocketts Meadow. This one is at the top of the list. Thank you for an awesome stay!!

We have stayed in 3 houses before this stay and I would probably put this one on the bottom. The beds were so uncomfortable, I don’t think either one of us got hardly any sleep! The driveway was a real problem. because of the ditch. We were driving a Toyota Tundra so we couldn’t pull in straight or we would be in the street. The end recliner on the sofa nearest the door smelled like dirty hair.

Great location and close to ski resort. Neighborhood is nice, quiet and safe.

Host said they did not control the weather so we couldn't get a refund or reschedule. Then after my two children and I drove 7 hours to get to the cabin, they had canceled it on me. Poor communication.

I can’t say enough about our 4 day stay here at the Red Fox! It’s a newer cabin with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It’s beautiful with open beams and fireplace. It was very clean, comfortable bed, and a well stocked kitchen. The views were gorgeous of the mountains from the front wrap around porch. We enjoyed having coffee or a glass of wine on the porch in the afternoons. The cabin is in a picturesque community of cabins and it’s very close to town and amenities. But you also feel secluded tucked away from crowds and noise. We would very much like to come back someday. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Clean, spacious, level parking, nice appliances, helpful owners. One of the nicest we've stayed in. Highly recommend. Only suggestion would be a fire ring in the back yard.

The mountain cabin was perfect! Clean, excellent condition, exquisite mountain view from the front porch! We could make ourselves at home here! Highly recommended!

First time in the area and had plenty to due while in town whether it be shopping in town or in Asheville. Also had two miniature golf courses that are fun to play. House was just as described and enjoyed the time at the cabin.

We loved our stay at Red Fox. The cabin is beautiful and clean and the location is perfect. Also, the neighborhood is beautiful with lots of friendly folks. We look forward to our next visit to Maggie Valley and our stay at the Red Fox.

We just spent a month at this property. Everything was outstanding. The kitchen was stocked with everything one could need. This fairly new cabin was very tastefully decorated. The owner responded to any emails almost immediately. There were no issues. The cabin was exceptionally cleaned prior to our visit. The roads to the cabin were very easy to travel.
