The Highland Club is a collection of 4 and 5 star self catered cottages and apartments set in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on the south shore of Loch Ness, also cradled by the Caledonian Canal and the River Tarff.
Riverside Cottage has an uninterrupted view of the riverbank, with a wonderful dual aspect living room looking both across the lawn and down towards the River Tarff as well as at the stunning architecture of Abbey Church building with it’s Chapel Pool.
Riverside Cottage is a new addition to our portfolio of luxury properties at The Highland Club, situated within the lovely 20 acre grounds of Fort Augustus Abbey, and is also the only pet friendly accommodation that we manage on site and you can be sure that your pets will be as well looked after as you are.
Conveniently located opposite the Sanctuary reception with complimentary hot/cold drinks and snacks throughout your stay.
This 2 bedroomed accommodation is very spacious and comprises of:
Open plan living room with log fire and spacious dining area overlooking the patio and facing towards the river, with William Morris curtains and blinds.
Smart TV and free wifi
The fully equipped luxury kitchen includes Denby dinnerware, a Gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine.

Twin bedroom with the option to have a 3rd pop-up bed

Within the grounds there is a tennis court and other facilities including outdoor chess in the Cloister Garden, table tennis, badminton, croquet, boules, 5-a-side football and a cricket pitch with nets. The Boathouse Restaurant with its exclusive Loch side view is available both to guests and the local community alike.
