About this cabin rental
Come visit a cozy mountain top home located in the perfect mountain town, Bryson City! The Summit at Lookout Point is conveniently located by all sorts of attractions, from the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and the Great Smoky Mountains Railway to Fontana Lake and the Nantahala Outdoor Center. This is a perfect destination for everyone from nature lovers and adventure seekers, to those looking to kick back and relax amongst the picturesque mountain views.
The Summit at Lookout Point sits on top of Fontana Ridge allowing for plenty of privacy and stunning panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The large back deck is covered and equipped with ceiling fans to make sure you stay comfortable. Take in the crisp morning air and watch the golden rays lift over the mountain tops as you sip on a morning cup of coffee at the bar top railing. Two cushioned outdoor couches and one cushioned chair are also located under the covered porch. The porch overlooks an outdoor entertaining area which includes a park-line charcoal grill, two person hammock, a fire pit with four surrounding chairs, and an inviting five person hot tub. The back deck area is a great place for stargazing and getting to catch those perfect mountain sunrises and sunsets. Note: Charcoal and firewood are not provided

The great room features two sets of french doors to bring in an abundance of natural light and mountain views. The vaulted ceiling allows the beautiful stone wood-burning fireplace to shine as a central feature of the room. Enjoy browsing YouTube TV from the 55” flatscreen TV while snuggling into one of the many cozy furnishings adorning the room.
The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware, and small appliances needed to prepare many meals. Also provided is a regular coffee maker and a Keurig for those wanting to enjoy a warm cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. Note: K-Cups are not provided
The primary bedroom consists of a king-sized bed and a picture window that shows those gorgeous Smoky Mountains. A flatscreen TV is also provided so you can watch your favorite shows while resting in bed.
Two guestrooms have queen sized beds and ceiling fans. Each room also has their own flatscreen TV with YouTube TV. One guestroom has a large picture window for being able to see those amazing mountains from the comfort of your bed.
The loft area has two twin beds that overlook the great room. It is a great place to see those spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the large windows of the great room.
Private parking is located on premises with additional parking available for large items such as trailers upon request.
No pets are allowed at this property. No smoking is allowed on the premises. The property does have video security monitoring the front perimeter. No private areas are viewable on camera at any time.

Bryson City is home to the Great Smoky Mountain Railway as well as many restaurants, breweries, and shops. Fontana Lake is a short drive away where you can fish, swim, or rent a pontoon boat for the day. The Nantahala Outdoor Center offers whitewater rafting, ziplining, horseback riding, and biking. Deep Creek, located just outside of downtown Bryson City, is where you can find hiking trails, tubing, and places for a scenic picnic by the creek. If golfing is on your to do list the Smoky Mountain Country Club has a beautiful course that is open to the public.

The cabin was great, the owner was so friendly in all our interactions. We had some trouble with the Internet the first night there and they quickly worked on resolving the issue. Bryson City was a cute little town and it's only a 20 minute drive to Deep Creek. The kids had fun with the loft and the views from the deck were amazing. We all agreed we were so glad to stay in a less developed area than somewhere like Gatlinburg. Would 100% recommend for a trip to the Smokies.

Our family truly enjoyed our weekend getaway in this beautiful home. It has all the amenities you need and more! From coffee on the back porch overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains to evening wine at the fire pit or the hot tub, it was simply wonderful. And the homeowners reach out to assure you have everything you need - the communication was great. We would definitely return to this home if we do another trip to this area.

My family and I (adult children) just returned from a weeklong stay at this beautiful mountaintop home. The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare meals and unwind. Our favorites were enjoying quiet mornings on the back porch over coffee while looking out at the gorgeous mountain views and relaxing in the hot top after long days of hiking. We loved visits from the hummingbirds, bunny, and fireflies. Kelsey was very communicative and everything was smooth. Thank you so sharing your vacation home with us!

The place was great overall. The back porch is rather large with an outstanding view. I imagine this is the spot most people are going to hangout and gather at. The rooms are all a good size and the loft is a usable space. Although not ideal for adults, it worked out no problem. We’ve been coming to this area for over 20 years to ride all the roads and we would stay here again, no questions asked. A couple things to know. The driveway is step and its gravel and the pictures do a good job at showing this. If you ride a motorcycle and you are not comfortable going up and down, this might not be for you. I’ve been riding for over 20 years and it didn’t bother me, but not everyone feels the same. The other thing to note is when you punch in the gate code to enter the neighborhood, the gate opens towards your vehicle. None of this is bad, just “food for thought.”

The property was as advertised. The owners were very responsive and professional. The gated neighborhood was very quiet and we never heard or even saw neighbors. It was like we were the only people in the mountains. So peaceful!! There isn’t anything negative I can say.

This was our second visit to this rental, and it did not disappoint. Quite frankly our favorite rental to date in the Bryson City area, and WHAT A VIEW.
We enjoyed a beautiful blanket of snow during our first visit a few years back, and this time we were able to enjoy the fire pit and ever-changing views of the surrounding mountains. Todd and Jana are always super responsive and helpful, and the house is so fantastically appointed and well designed for family and friends to enjoy after a long day of adventures, or a simple day of relaxing on the back deck, around the fire pit, or in the hot tub. Views abound on every part of the property. Until next time!

Everything was as we expected. A few house keeping issue but nothing that took away from our experience. For example, there was coffee still left in the pot and the reservoir for the pods was quite dirty. We soaked it overnight. Also the oven still had oven cleaner in it. Everything else was perfect. Thank you !

This home was absolutely amazing. Everything about it, the views are spectacular, the decks were spacious and extremely comfortable, the hot tub was clean and hot and the house as a whole felt so much like home. We wanted or needed nothing during our stay. There was a cute town (Bryson City) 10 minutes away with everything you would need.
We couldn't have been happier! Todd and Jana are the consummate hosts, the communication with them was perfect and they welcomed us and made us feel like more than renters.
We look forward to coming back next year and would HIGHLY recommend this home.

This is my second time staying at this home and it's been lovely each time. The view from the back porch is incredible...a front row view of the Smokies! The hot tub is wonderfully relaxing. Everything is very clean and well-appointed. And the bed is COMFY! Highly recommended!

We hit the jackpot with this rental house in the Smoky Mountains! The view is tremendous! We drove all over Smoky Mountain National Park and only found one or two scenic views that rivaled what we had from the back porch. Staying at a place with such a view enabled us to see everything the Smoky Mountains offer - from clear and sunny afternoons, to misty mornings with "smoke" rising up from the valleys, to wonderful sunsets.
The house was outfitted with everything we could have possibly needed. It was as clean as could be and very well decorated.
And the hot tub! Wow! Take in a relaxing soak while gazing at the mountains.
Some nice hikes to three waterfalls in the Deep Creek area are a short drive away. And we enjoyed riding on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad which is based in nearby Bryson City.
It was the perfect place for us to immerse ourselves in the Smoky Mountains. We highly recommend this vacation home for a spectacular Smoky Mountain experience.

We have stayed in many cabins over the last 10 years, this is by far the best one yet !! From everything we needed was there , the views were amazing, beds we’re comfortable. Loved the robes for the hot tub . My only complaint would be to have a few extra rolls of toilet paper. Would definitely book this cabin again, loved watching birds and humming birds . ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We loved everything about the house and location. We stayed 3 nights then moved to the north part of the smokies. The view is amazing, loved the porch bar, robes for the jacuzzi, beds we’re comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, house was just pretty! It was warm during our visit but they have the perfect fire pit we will use next trip!! We’ll be back!

Talk about a beautiful cabin with mountain views that will take your breath away! This home was clean, comfortable and well stocked - the owners thought of everything. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. We enjoyed many peaceful mornings on the spacious deck, soaking in the views and watching the wildlife (song birds, turkey, deer). Communication with Todd and Jana was excellent, they were incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend this cabin - it's even better than advertised and quite literally a little piece of Heaven on Earth!
