It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in this year.

Great comfortable stay. Nice & convenient to my work place. Also, in house convention venue as well as gym, restaurant and bar.

I love that the hotel had productive activities going on everyday which gave me the opportunity to meet and network with others , and enjoy all of the amenities offered. Having a Starbucks on the premises was a greatly appreciated. My suite was beautiful with an excellent view of Midtown, although, the carpet did need to be shampooed. It’s an ideal location that gave me the opportunity to visit my family and enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with them. Overall, the hotel is exactly as it is advertised and the service is superb.

Check in was seamless and even earlier than requested. I was able to go to my room as soon as I got off the plane. The staff was nice and helpful. Room was clean, there wasn’t a lot of noise besides the highway. I would definitely stay again

This hotel is amazingly beautiful. The pool is beautiful and heated. There are two restaurants, Starbucks, and a store located inside. Very clean!

As a meeting and event planner, I will say this property is VERY old and hasn't been updated in years. Its definitely showing wear and tear. Stains on the carpets throughout the hotel. Furniture cracks, bathroom mirror cracked, crack in the tub, missing floor tiles. $60 a day to valet park without an option to self park (was told that was 2 blocks away). Valet took over 45 min to bring our car. Definitely won't ever go back or plan any events at this property.

Chose this hotel for the weekend as we attended a birthday party fir a friend. The line for check in was quite long, but the staff was friendly and efficient. You are pretty much stuck using the valet service for $65 a day because there is no orher parking available on site. Wait for the elevators was lengthy and congested throughout our stay. Elevators are also only located in the center of the hotel, making for a long walk if your room is on the end. Our king room was very small - had a tiny table with one chair, bed, and two nightstands. The closet, tv stand, coffee station was a shelving type unit built in. The bed was very low and the mattress pretty firm. The room didn't cool down below 72 until 2am, although the air was set at the lowest setting. You could smell weed everywhere.. in the lobby, the elevators, the hallways... i guess that's what you get in Atlanta. Check out wasn't available on the tv screen as indicated, so back in another long line to check out. Overall okay, but i wouldn't stay again.

It was great. The staff was friendly. Room was amazing. The view was beautiful! Only disappointed they don’t have snack machines and there aren’t any stores close enough.

I chose this hotel to celebrate a wedding anniversary. When I checked in, I was told by the clerk that there was another guest with the same name as mine and another front desk clerk checked that person in with my reservation. I expressed concern because I had booked through Hotels.com and secured a great rate - $129/night. Shanice told me not to worry that she made the correction.
My stay was good but then on Sunday I checked my credit card app and I had been charged twice for my stay. I went down to the front desk to let them know but they assured me that since these were only "authorizations", they would drop off. I then asked the manager, Kim, if she would reverse one of the authorizations since it was clearly a mistake, and she claimed that she could not. I then called Capital One, my credit card company and alerted them to the overcharge but they could not do anything since the charges were in "pending" status. They suggested I have the hotel reverse the duplicate authorization charge so I went back to the front desk and was told again that when the charges settle, it will be corrected.
The charges settled today, September 24th and I have two charges from Marriott Marquis rather than one. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied because the staff treated me as if I was wrong and making a big deal out of nothing. Even going as far as saying things like "I assure you" this will drop off.
A mistake was made at check-in and every employee I spoke with lied.

The room was great, haf a great view of the city from 45 stories high. Had several places to go inside hotel. the pool was roof top and was bigger than most indoor/outdoor pools. Will definitely stay again.

My overall experience was amazing. The only problem I had was one of the staff members busted in the door after I said hold on. I really don’t appreciate that.
