Disappointed in noise of fridge and air conditioner but not too bad. And a little disappointed in options for breakfast just grab and go pastries. Would have liked maybe juice or more fruit options.

Room was very clean. Check in is kiosk but easy enough. Only real omplaint is the morning breakfast. Coffee bland and food
Options very limited. No yogurt and or bagels just premade tiny muffins wrapped and some oat bars and or an apple. Better coffee needed with regular milk and or half/half would be appreciated. Also there was never a pet fee stated even when talking to them the day before so not happy they charged additional $20 at check in. And pls turn off lights on outside window exterior.

So this place is fine. Nothing special. My husband and I went to be next to the ocean during the king tides and watch the big waves. The “ocean views” were minimal and there was a road in between the property and the beach. There was also a lot of road noise so no listening to the waves. The rooms are decent. A little run down but clean. The check in kiosk is creepy and I have to wonder why they have it. Very impersonal. It almost felt like it was an abandoned property which didn’t make me feel too secure, and if I had been alone I wouldn’t have stayed. Overall it was just a very neutral experience. But don’t stay there to feel like you are on the actual ocean. It won’t work.

The zoom virtual agent experience was awful - the connection was poor and had to wait for someone. Can't believe they outsource for front desk - it definitely did not feel safe, and the lacknof personal care and attention carries through to the property conditions. The room was possibly the worst ive ever been in - blood stains on the door, floor, and sheets; damp, stained towels; a melted hair dryer; lumpy, springy mattress, and more. I felt very dirty just being in the room. Eventually they moved me but only after repeatedly saying "no refunds" which I didn’t even ask for. The new room still had broken curtains and more. I will never stay here again and caution anyone else to think twice.

No front desk person. You had to check in by using a kiosk. Put your I’d in and follow the prompts. It did not remind me to remove my I’d and I had to pay $10 postage for them to mail me my I’d in a .60 cent envelope.

The hotel was clean and well appointed. It was a little disconcerting to find no one at the reception desk except a the AI assistant who checked me in and answered questions. I did have occasion to call the operator for the hotel and they were able to answer my questions. The bed was more than comfortable and I was glad to see a microwave and frig. The morning breakfast consisted of muffins and coffee as well as fruit, a little sparce, but good to see two nice humans manning the food.

The room had an awful odor when we arrived. We opened windows and went for a long walk and did some shopping. It wasn't to bad when we got back. It could have been cleaning chemicals. The on line description is not quite what you expect. It's very unpersonal since you check in and out by a kiosk. There is a $20 charge for your pet which the description does not mention and breakfast is a joke. Apples and bite size pastry. Not impressed.

We took a trip down the Oregon coast with our final stop to visit the Redwoods. We chose this hotel because we loved that it was right on the beach. We checked in at a kiosk with a virtual employee (odd), who informed us of the $100 hold for incidentals/odor removal. Fine, makes sense but we stayed at much nicer hotels along the way with a $50 hold... Ironically enough, our room reeked! Unsure if it was mold, chemicals from the carpet that needed time to air out, or a combination of the two. One of our towels had a stain on it, the place was extremely dated (curtains are from the 80's), the exterior was very poorly maintained, the TV didn't work, and the alarm clock made an annoying static noise randomly throughout the night so we just unplugged it. Honestly comparable to staying at Motel 6.

I was trying to understand the mediocre rating with few written reviews, but I get it now.
We had a call to ask us to "upgrade" from a single King to Two Queens. Agreed.
Check-in: there's no actual person there, you use a video kiosk in the lobby. The room is boomy, so it's hard to hear and be heard.
Mentioned using an EV charging station. They wanted $20 per night. The dog was $20 per night, incidentals were $100. So you pay for the room, and pay twice more.
We've never paid a flat rate to use a charging station at a hotel and won't again.
In the room, all the lights are "daylight" bulbs with cool color temps. The room is lit like an office building.
Everything looks clean, but there's a hole in a comforter, so not new stuff. Killed a black spider on a wall.
The beds were definitely not queens. Too narrow. Our "upgrade" from one King was actually two Doubles. Not especially comfortable.
TV remote was dead.
Popped off our shoes, unpacked, took a shower. There's hair in the tub, and yellow tape. Is the tub cracked?
Got in and left dirty footprints. Floor not actually clean.
EVSE power was all over the place (48A to 11A), which is concerning.
Nobody to tell about any of this, as again there's no actual employee in the lobby.
Restaurants and other places are walking distance but there's no sidewalk or lighting, so you're walking along the main road through town.
Others in our party stayed in another place down the road with real live employees and nicer rooms.

I paid online through hotels.com because they said "pay only this amount, no suprise fees" but had to also pay a $100 deposit to stay, or lose what i paid for the room and have nowhere to stay at the coast for my 45th. Not many of us has an extra 100 bucks.. if the deposit is not in my bank today (and it likely wont be until wednesday) we wont be able to get food or gas to get home.. after a hard year, working 2 jobs and not getting away for MONTHS, this was not a plesant suprise. Please be aware when booking at this Inn. Everything else was absolutely lovely.

I would not be back. The kiosk is awful. If I wanted a machine I would stay home an d watch tv. The guy kept moving his mic out of the way so you couldn’t hear him. It took way too long to register. He showed my my registration and it already had my initials on the form. I asked him how he got my initials, he said he wrote them. I didn’t not give him permission. And he would not give me a receipt. This is lousy. I will report this to what ever government service oversees hotel operations

No one there to check us in. Had to use a robot machine! Doors are rusty, rooms are smelly, friend had a dead spider hanging from a web in her room when she got in

The room was very nice, very clean. There was a nice view, and the windows open so you can let in the ocean breeze it the morning. The beds were very comfortable. Crescent City Harbor is a short walk, we saw Sea Lions AND Seals, a crab on the rocks and various sea birds. We will definitely stay here again.

Check in is via a kiosk. It went fine but was just strange. Room view is a RV parking lot ( there was only one RV the night we stayed)

It's not that something is wrong with the hotel per se it's just kind of what you'd expect for a low budget hotel no thrills you get what you pay for it was clean needed some updating can't say much more than that was not unhappy but was not happy just something in the middle

We didn’t like the automated checkin speaking remotely to someone through a screen. Parts of the property look in need of a repaint. The interior of the rooms were fine with everything you could need. Comfortable bed and space. Ok for a one maybe two night stop.

This is barely a 2star hotel.self check kiosk. When it works.
The room above us had a dog. We listened to this dog play with its toy all night. Running from one side of the room to the other.there is a bout that sounds every 10 seconds all day everyday.
The tub was completely missing tile on one side
Can not recommend.
