This hotel is under construction. It is dirty. Floors were filthy. The dresser drawers wouldn’t shut. The drain on the bathtub was broken. The fireplace was nonfunctional. Overall, it was terrible.

Someone set off the fire alarm at 2:30am. No refunds or even an offer. No fire, just a broken sprinkler head, and sirens going off for 15 minutes straight with no response from the Fire Department. Pretty terrible experience.

Staying with a friend who came with another, there is a sleeper sofa, no problem right? Well while gone to the store, they were rained on by the sprinkler system. I come back to a room that is soaked, hallway and the other rooms were being given a new room. Myself and my guests were told to leave in five minutes. No calls or correspondence with me about anything then following day. But a charge on my card that exceeds the deposit amount. $250 is a typical deposit on a room. 400$ is what is being expected of me. Which is reasonab. I understand damages. Why didnt they turn off the water, it keep running. There was a puddle 50 ft of hallway and about an inch or two deep. Thats much for one rooms sprinkler. I am disappointed at the properties inability to accommodate us in another room. I had to sleep in my car, pleasant. However the property management was very kind to let me in the room to see. And double check for my missing hygiene products. One would think there is property insurance This is affecting multiple rooms and appears it could be old plumbing, and new mixed. guest whos been there for a while, stateing that there has been plumbing concerns in the whole building. I would think that any charges would be determined by an insurance adjuster, and corporate. Because when you expect a deposit to be only 250 max 350. Thats for smoking in a room typically. I look forward to seeing how this works out. I am shocked still that this really happened.

I had a nice stay just about 10 blocks from the hospital I was working at. The hotel was right next to the Legends, Walmart, Target, and lots of fast food options. I had a king suite and, although the mattress was a bit firm for my comfort, the room was overall clean, comfortable, and relaxing. I didn't get to check out the pool, but it looked nice. The best thing was that the breakfast buffet was available early enough to make it to my morning shift and had plenty of food to choose from.

It was a quick overnight and nice proximity to the Legends, however, the place was in bad shape clearly patched holes in the walls that had not been fully finished and repainted. Sticky floors in room and common areas, very very dirty carpets that had not been cleaned in quite sometime, definitely hesitate to walk around barefoot or even in socks on. Surfaces not clean and showed sticky residue. While not top dollar experience nor was it expected for the price we paid...even then the experience should have meant much cheaper room rate than what we paid. Front desk clerk was very kind and welcoming unfortunately her hospitality was overshadowed by the poor condition and cleanliness of the hotel and room.

This place was good. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and great breakfast options. My only suggestion would be to shampoo carpets. Carpet in rooms and hallways were pretty dirty. Overall, a great stay and will stay again.

I want to start by saying I read alot of bad reviews which resulted in expecting a bad experience. I discovered a very pleasant experience in the end I had one issue with my room key which was fixed in like barely 5 min. I did see some wear and tear in the facility like I had read in the reviews but was not substantial enough to warrant a lot of what I read I would definitely stay here again

The rooms smelled musty and like urine. The carpets were filthy, maybe the vacuum they use does not work or they don’t vacuum. The a/c was very loud and did not work well. The front desk person was friendly and helpful.

Decent stay for the price. Easy to get in and out, close to everything we needed. Carpet and common areas a bit worn but very clean. Good breakfast area, very clean and well stocked.

I will start this off with the only POSITIVE thing about the property. Location is awesome if a person were going to Kansas Speedway, Children's Mercy Park (Sporting KC soccer stadium), Nebraska Furniture Mart, or the Legends Shopping Mall. Now the negatives: Exterior of building: Looked like an abandoned property with missing window screens, a broken window, and overgrown landscaping. Interior of Property: Carpet in the room and the hallway was filthy, the sofa bed mattress was stained, common areas were very dated, pool was closed (under repair) and the elevator was slow & the floor was super sticky.The elevator would actually drop (like it was falling) & shake upon startup and it made a grinding noise. Several people even stated that they were hoping that they didn't get stuck in it and have to be rescued. All of this for $192 a night!!!! We will definitely be choosing a different property on our next visit to this otherwise beautiful area for shopping & for sports fans!

We arrived an hour ahead of typical check in time. The front desk said the room was ready but we would have to pay an early check-in fee of $45. We skipped the fee since we were just dropping off bags and left them in the car but seems like a waste since the room was empty already. The whole hotel has an odd smell of mildew and was just overall dirty. Sheet rock tape was hanging off the ceiling in the bathroom and faucets/hinges were rusted and falling apart. The location near legends is the only plus to staying here but the hotel itself is well below average.
