Definitely need a more competent, attentive receptionists.
Next door sneaked in a dog, and no action taken.
Two members busy chatting even in the presence of a customer. And one European female not a competent English speaker having a hard time performing her duties.

All accomodation is very expensive in Queenstown

A well positioned hotel for our weeks skiing in Queenstown.
With supermarket and casual restaurants within 5 mins walk.
An excellent breakfast lunch and dinner restaurant onsite frequented by tourists and locals.
There is parking onsite and a ski gear drying room.
The room was well layed out and equipped for self catering.
The only disappointment was the poor cleaning during our stay with no benches, sinks and toilets cleaned or floors cleaned. Linen was changed only once in our 7 day stay although they say every 3 days.

The place was nice and cozy and a good location. We didn’t really speak to any staff but when we checked in the cashier was nice. Considering how expensive it is to stay there and we did specifically say we were getting a hire car and it would be great if we could have a car park, the majority of the time we were unable to park. There is very minimal parking considering how many rooms and although we were informed it is a first come first serve basis I don’t believe parking should be advertised if you cannot provide it to everyone. Having to pay extra money for parking over night after an already expensive accommodation which said it had parking included is not great. Being a hire car we were also worrying the entire time about something happening to the car as it wasn’t in enclosed parking, which put a damper on our time.

Great location away from the main town. Nice and quiet. Lots of shops nearby. The hotel is getting old and could do with renovations.

Overall this property is reasonably good, very warm, good location and most rooms appear to have views. However there are a few aspects that let the property down.
- The executive suite we had was quite small despite having received an "upgrade"
- The Cafe/dining area on the ground floor looked very dated and not particularly clean
- Front Desk staff are not very friendly or engaging
- Generally the Hotel just felt average

The hotel has free parking and laundry machines in the room. There was a nice view of the mountains, but the construction of a new building across the street somewhat detracted from that view. Front desk is only open from 8am-8pm. You can make arrangements for late check in and keys will be in lockbox outside. If you have to check out early, you can also drop off keys at the slot at the front desk. Although breakfast was not included, the restaurant in the building had cook to order breakfast, which was delicious. The restaurant also served lunch and dinner. Although the selections were few, the food we ordered tasted very good. The free underground gated parking and laundry made my stay worth it. Tip: You have to hold the card key in front of a card reader on the right side halfway down the ramp just before the entrance of the garage until it lights up green and beeps in order for the garage gate to open. The card reader is protected from rain and weather by a silver metal housing and mounted to the wall. I couldn't find it at first, but the front desk person showed me where it was. Then you have to drive up really close to the gate for the sensor to open the gate when you exit the garage. No card key reader inside the garage. Limited parking spots. I would say about 20 spots, but I was there during an off peak time of the year (middle of June) so there was plenty of parking.
