Experience the perfect blend of pastoral serenity and waterfront charm at our stunning property! Nestled amidst picturesque farmland, yet conveniently located near the amenities of Bath Ontario, Prince Edward County, and Kingston, this architecturally designed waterfront cottage offers a truly unforgettable getaway.
The Space:
Hydrangea Hideaway is an idyllic waterfront property that would make a great place for 1 or 2 families to vacation.
The layouts are generous and elegantly finished . There are flexible sleeping arrangements with a king, 2 queens, 2 twins and 4 bunk beds. There’s a beautiful functional galley kitchen with induction cooktop, two living rooms, 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. At the bottom of the property there is a large outdoor fire pit, boathouse, and 30’ dock into Lake Ontario where the swimming is incredible.
This property was designed and decorated by professional architects and features the following:
-Indoor fireplace
-Beautiful back garden
-2 adult sized cruising bikes
-Bocce set and lawn games
-4 kayaks, 2 paddleboards
The Neighborhood:
Bayshore Road is a lovely mix of centuries old farmland, orchards and cottages on the winding shore of Lake Ontario. Spring Meadow Orchards is the destination in the autumn for their corn maze, apple picking and cider donuts. East along Hwy 33 for 20 minutes is Bath Ontario with it’s quaint market, and charming bookstore, pub and restaurant. Mackinnon brothers brewery is a beloved local brewery. Amherst Island is accessed by ferry from 33 and boasts 6000 sheep and 300 full-time residents. Topsy Farms is worth a visit in lambing season and birders find reasons to visit the island all year round. Parrot Bay Conservation Area has excellent hiking trails which are all free to use. There are parking lots on Hwy 33 and also on Taylor Kidd Blvd with a number of trails through the woods and wetlands between them. 45 minutes east of Bayshore Road on Hwy 33 you’ll arrive in Kingston with it’s historic campuses, waterfront and urban amenities.
Heading West along Hwy 33 from Bayshore you’ll be at the ferry landing in 10 minutes and then a short trip across from Glenora to Prince Edward County.
