My 6 year old daughter said to her big brother: So- what do you say, best rental ever? We loved our time here at the old sugar loaf mountain chalet. It was right in the middle of the Leelanau, so about 20 minutes max from everywhere on the west and east side of the peninsula. Great hiking, biking, and good times. The condo was clean, communication was great, and we would like to come back. There were plenty of fun things built in for the kids to do around the house, and they of course enjoyed the multiple levels, looking down from their perch on the loft. There is a first level bedroom for those that don’t do stairs, good for grandparents. Something for everyone here! Thank you for everything!

Check in process was simple and convenient. Condo was very clean. Bedrooms were good sized. Very nice location walkable to golf course and quick drive to many beaches and Glen Arbor.

Modest townhome, comfortable for up to 4 adults and 3 children, which is what we had. Quiet location and centrally located to explore the area. Sleeping Bear Dunes was close. Good Harbor beach (less than 5 minute drive) was great for playing and many built a fire on the beach while watching the sunset. Overall, the townhome met the needs of our trip. Check-in process was easy.

Great time had by all !!! We had my adult children and infant grandchild with us and everyone had a great time. This location in my opinion is perfect !!! We were no more than 20-30 minutes from just about everywhere we went (Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor, Empire, Traverse City, Sutton Bay, Bohemian Lavender Farm) I stalled baby gates made it baby friendly but didn’t take away from the overall comfort. The property manager was super helpful and very responsive. I highly recommend this property 😀

The location was perfect for the 8 of us that stayed in the property . We loved that it had 3 full bathrooms. The property is in a quiet area with a pool. We visited several small towns nearby to shop and eat. Everything is about 20 minutes away.

The sugarloaf condos are a great spot to stay in Leelenau County - easy access to Good Harbor bay, Glen Arbor and the dunes, but very quiet and not crowded. Pool and large green space are great to have for kiddos. Very steep stairs to get to loft space - not easy or safe for toddlers, but would be fine for adults or older children. Air conditioners throughout and having 3 bathrooms was a bonus. Check in process was a breeze and Sam was very easy to communicate with.

The property’s hilly location was beautiful and very convenient to Glen Arbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the Leelanau Pennisula. The condo/townhome bathrooms and towels were clean. The main bedroom has an air conditioner wall unit. The lower level bedroom doesn’t have air conditioning and the upper loft has a free standing air conditioner outside of the loft bedroom. It was rather warm for sleeping in the loft. Many fans were provided throughout the space. The kids loved the foosball table and the pool. The owner was great with communication and came the same day to fix something we noticed. Overall, it was a nice experience staying there.
