Pilar’s Secret is hidden away in the heart of Old Town Key West just half a block off the famous Duval Street. This secluded oasis is the perfect spot for you to truly discover the ultimate Key West experience.
Located down a quiet and nondescript lane, Pilar's Secret gorgeous property is quintessentially Key West with well appointed luxury amenities throughout.
Pilar’s Secret offers three very spacious bedrooms, a private pool, and wonderful gated outdoor living area. The fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to a large living space with plenty of room for all your guests to relax. Pilar’s Secret was designed for sharing with family or close friends. The spacious home makes a perfect home base for a group while they enjoy everything our island has to offer. The living area has plenty of seating on plush couches and chairs. One of the living room sofas pulls out into a sleeper sofa for added guests.
The kitchen is just off the main living area with top-of-the-line appliances and all the tools you need to prepare a meal at home in between your nights out enjoying our island cuisine. There are many options for dining just a short walk from Pilar’s Secret.
Lush tropical landscaping and comfortable chaise lounges and chairs surround the pool at Pilar’s Secret. This very private outdoor area has seating for lunch or dinner, plus ample amounts of sun and shade throughout the day for picturesque outdoor living. The pool can be heated and the grill is ready for your next meal either poolside or at the other larger outdoor dining table alongside of the house. String lights, pool lighting, and the beautiful landscaping create an enchanting space come dusk. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
There are two bedrooms located on the ground level of Pilar’s Secret. One bedroom has two twin beds. The second bedroom has a king size bed, a flat screen television, and French doors leading out to the side patio. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a glass shower and soaker tub.
The second floor primary suite is private with a king size bed, flat screen television, ensuite bathroom and its separate seating area. The bathroom has a unique spa-like shower. This is the perfect place to get away and wind down after an active day around Key West.
Pilar’s Secret offers central A/C and heat and there are ceiling fans throughout. The private pool can also be heated upon request. The yard is private and provides lush landscape throughout. There is a gas grill, one private parking space, a washer/dryer, and flat screen televisions in the living room and in each bedrooms all with expanded cable TV. The gourmet kitchen has all the utensils for preparing your meals along with a microwave, blender, and toaster. Linens and towels are provided and housekeeping is available in the interim upon request and for additional fees.

This property is in the middle of Duval. E noticed it can be loud at times with planes overhead and neighbors playing music, but we have no regrets admit staying at this property.

We loved this little gem of a house! It has such a warm and welcoming vibe! In our group there were 8 women - all UConn alumni, long time friends - ages 57-60 celebrating those entering their 60s! The location on Duval St is close enough to walk to everything - but hidden behind a taller building that blocks most of the noise! The tall fence and landscaping completely surround the house and invite you to make your own margaritas and spend time lounging together in the heated pool! The outdoor shower is perfectly positioned and highly recommended! The living room space is arranged perfectly with comfortable seating for all to gather while swapping laughter-filled stories! The two ladies who stayed in the twin bed room had to place and access their suitcases in other locations (under the stairs and upstairs) due to that room’s space crunch. This is a very flexible and creative group of women - so this was not a problem. The ladies in this room seemed to be the only ones hearing band music playing into the morning hours. Best to place the guests you know will be out in the bars dancing til the music stops at 4 am in that twin bed room! All beds were comfortable. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are huge! Some may be concerned about the lack of a bathroom door or shower curtain up there but with our red cup signaling system it was not a problem for us. The kitchen had everything we needed! Plenty of towels! It’s a great house and we highly recommend it!

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Right off of Duval, but felt excluded and private. The backyard with the heated pool felt like an oasis. 10/10 would stay again!

Had a great first stay at this VRBO. Amazing location, steps from the center of Duval, and yet somehow very secluded and secure tucked down a small alleyway that most people won't even notice. Clean and great amenities. The pool is really nice as well. Pro tip: use Cuban Queen Coffee down the street at Key Lime Square for all of your breakfast and coffee needs. Keys Coffee also nearby, and also excellent. We would love to come stay again, and the staff at Key West Hideaways handles all of the communication and processing - they are an excellent, professional group. Very impressed! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

First time in Key West, spend Christmas with family.
Home is in a great location right off Duval Street, but the way it is situated you are isolated from all the crowds and noise. Includes one parking spot at home which is very convenient. House is very nicely decorated and the heated pool was great for a relaxing afternoon, even in December. Highly recommend this home.
Also Kevin (owner) was great during check in providing suggestions on local restaurants and placing ice in freezer due to ice maker not working.

Very cute Key West style just as the pictures advertised. Amazing location! In the center of Duval but far enough from the rowdier bars. Note that parking is very limited. Only 1 small spot down a tight alleyway. Research & plan ahead of time for day rates/lots for parking additional cars.

This house was perfect! It was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and if you can’t find it or happened to be low on something, Kevin the owner, was super responsive and would bring it over. The pool was wonderful to relax and cool off by during the day and even at night as the backyard is super private and peaceful with all the string lights and water feature. You would never know this house is right off Duval which makes this house even more special. Definitely a wonderful place to stay at with your family and friends.

It was a wonderful stay that accommodated all 5 ladies for a girls trip. The proximity to the bars and shops was perfect. We rented a golf cat but didn’t need one because we parked everywhere.
It’s such a unique little house and kept up very well.

Great location - right where you want if you like Old Town - easy to walk all over and everything is close. Very comfortable. We had an issue with the pool and Kevin had everything perfect by the time we returned back from lunch.

Great location, walking distance to all the good restaurants and bars in duval. House had a nice setup and nice backyard/ patio and pool to relax with friends and socialize. You do get some noise from the surrounding area but it’s nothing crazy and didn’t bother my group. Pool was heated so you could enjoy in the evening hours. Enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

This gem is on Duval and in the middle between north and south which is a 10-15 minute walk either way.
The space was very open inside and the outdoor space/pool was amazing. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool which was amazingly clean, great temperature and (what they don’t tell you), the sun hit the pool almost most of the day but still offered some shade in the pool.
Great options to pick up food, alcohol and other stuff within walking distance.
So glad we switched from our typical hotel stay at the north side of Duval to this amazing space.

We stayed at Pilar’s Secret with family. The house is beautiful. While the pool is small, it gets lots of sunlight! There is a bar nearby and we could hear the music late into the night. However, we were staying a block off Duvall street so shouldn’t have been surprised. The only problem was parking but definitely manageable.

We were a little nervous about the location of this beautiful home but were so happy with the location and the fact that it was literally hidden in the middle of everything. The fencing and vegetation as well as the pool waterfall allows for a peaceful stay. The home is beautiful and the pool area perfect for gathering and swimming and yet we were close to so many great restaurants, shopping and Key West sites.

Absolutely the most fabulous home we have ever rented. LOCATION IS UNMATCHED! Rent a golf cart for your stay. The small alley dead ends to your personal parking spot easily accessible with a golf cart. The entry to the back pool oasis is right there. I can’t say enough about this home.

My husband and I with our 5 adult kids spent 4 nights in this house. It was very nice. The pool area is a private little oasis. The location can’t be beat! Outside at night we could hear the music and partying from the surrounding areas but inside it was surprisingly quiet. Randy at the management office was very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. I would highly recommend this place.

This is the fourth time my family has stayed at Pilar's Secret, and it is very much as described in the listing and by other guests -- a almost unbelievable tropic oasis -- sun, beautiful plantings, incredible heated dipping pool and expansive patio with great furniture. And all that just a few feet from the (best) end of Duval and lively Bahama Village. A dedicated parking space next to the entrance is a FANTASTIC extra. The interior of the house is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. A couple things to note -- the third bedroom is very small, maybe best for kids without much luggage. Or you can use it like we do, as a closet for the first floor bedroom. The upstairs bedroom is quite large but really more of an attic loft. The bathroom is huge but open to the upstairs hall. The stairs up are fairly steep. And the roof is sloped, so depending on your height, you have a more or less narrow corridor in which you can stand/walk upright. Also the bed (which is very comfotable) is a bit tricky to climb into (you have to crawl over a large side platform). NONE of this was a problem for my husband and I (60s, decent shape but by no means exceptionally flexible), but if you had any mobility issues at all, this might be a tough fit. Otherwise, an exceptional and wonderful place to experience marvelous Key West!

Love the house and location! The only complaint was someone was always parked behind us. Usually the shop owner or cleaning people of the shop owner to the right of the alley where we park. We would have to go in and tell him to move often. otherwise beautiful home.

Overall, the house was perfect for a long weekend. Right off Duval street - great location but down an alleyway, so the noise was minimal. The kitchen had all the appliances you needed to cook plus a few seasonings as well. I don't believe the fridge had ice, not a big deal for us but worth noting. The only issue we ran into was not having enough toilet paper and had to buy some because we couldn't find any spare around the home. But would stay again and had a great vacation!

One thing that is hard to tell by the photos is that the two downstairs bedrooms are very small. - but comfortable! The outdoor area and pool all very very nice! Pros: awesome location, very clean, parking space, pool, AC worked great, comfy beds lots of amenities.
Cons; you have to go to a separate place to get the key and won’t give you the key prior to the exact moment you can check in. Like we “checked in” at 130 and the told us it wasn’t ready until 3, which was fine. I walked for the keys and we just won’t go in until 3. No, they made us drive back to get the keys and hour and a half later! Not great customer service.
Also, the pool was dirty and clearly hadn’t been vacuumed recently. It’s also in the sun all day and really not refreshing. It should be noted that this house is down an alley a little off duval so you can’t people watch. It’s actually nice because it’s more quite, but I feel people should know this. Lastly, the third bed room is significantly smaller than it appears in the picture. There is absolutely no room for your luggage and the beds are like 2 feet apart.
We did love this house and would stay there again just not with as many people and we wouldn’t get there early of check in.
