LOCATION: This home is located in the gated community of Key Cove, on an exclusive lane of waterfront luxury homes. The perks of this little-known location are many: walking distance to the essentials such a grocery stores and the largest shopping center on the island, while still being tucked away in your own quiet neighborhood. The excitement of downtown Old Town is just a few minutes away by car, moped, or bicycle. This home includes plenty of off-street parking in the private garages, as well as private driveways.
LIVING AREA & KITCHEN: The main entrance to this home is at the top of the stairs leading from the ground level. This home’s highlight is the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water to provide the optimal view from every part of the house. The large open plan living room has a spacious seating area with plush couches around a large HD flat screen Smart TV. One of the couches also pulls out to a Queen-sized sleeper sofa for additional guests. There is a dining table with seating for up to 8 diners, with additional seating at the kitchen bar. The gourmet kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and is fully equipped with all of the tools and utensils one could want or need. The sliding glass doors open up to a wide waterfront deck with additional space for a light meal, coffee, a glass of wine, or just taking in the view.
ACCOMMODATIONS: This home has two master suites, both of which are located on the top floor. The first master bedroom has a King size bed, a large flat-screen HD TV, and a beautiful two-room en-suite bathroom complete with a glass shower, large Jacuzzi tub and separate room for the facilities. The first master bedroom also has a wall of floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening out to your waterfront balcony, with gorgeous water views. The second master suite is down the opposite hallway, with a King size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second master suite also has a flat-screen HD TV, large walk-in closet, and a glass sliding door with access to the waterfront balcony. The third bedroom is beside the second master suite, with two twin beds that covert to 1 King upon request, flat screen TV. An additional bathroom is situated in the hall next to the stairs and across from the third bedroom. On the main floor there is a fourth bedroom with two twin beds that also convert to a King bed upon request. This bedroom also has a flat screen TV, and a full bathroom down the hall.
LANAI: Out back is the covered outdoor dining area comfortably seats six and has ample room for entertaining. With visiting heron on the tropical greenery that surround the back yard, your guest will enjoy the natural splendor Havana Daydream and Key West have to offer. Enjoy the brand new, kidney shaped, heated pool. The backyard is complete with a large propane grill. Additional space under the house also offers another covered indoor/outdoor area for playing, additional storage, etc.

The house is in a nice quiet area. The yard and pool were nicely maintained. The house needs updates. The carpets are torn and stained. The furniture is very basic and the couch worn. This is an average rental house ( minus the old worn carpet) but not a luxury rental. The house also has a humidity issue. There is a musty smell and clothes in upstairs closets felt damp after hanging there for a couple of days.

We stayed here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived the mildew odor was really strong. We cranked up the air & it did improve but never got completely better. The carpets upstairs were dirty & need to be replaced - probably the major source of the odor. The beds were all very uncomfortable. They should invest in new mattresses or add mattress toppers at the very least. Same for the pillows - old, lumpy & uncomfortable. I wouldn’t normally complain about these things if we weren’t paying over $6000 for a 4 night stay. For that much money they definitely need to invest in updates. The view was great & the pool was heated which were nice amenities. Location was good - quiet street & close to shopping centers. We rented a golf cart which was perfect for getting into downtown. Overall would recommend using the property management but would not stay in the same house again unless it was updated.

It was nice having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms Great property and location! We loved the heated pool. We wished there would have been more supplies provided in the kitchen, such as salt and pepper, ziplocks, foil, basic seasonings and oils. Also extra blankets in all the bedrooms.

This property was perfect for our stay with 4 couples. The kitchen was great with shopping right across the street for quick runs on the golf cart. The pool area was great with it's own refrigerator. The decks were fantastic. Lots of space for privacy and hanging out all together. We very much enjoyed our time there.

There were 7 of us, including 2 couples and 3 other friends. Havana Daydreams was a perfect place for us “sixty something” year old friends to spend a week in Key West. We had plenty of space to spread out in this well furnished and equipped home. The view when we walked in the door was amazing and the private pool was a wonderful bonus. A few members in our group are retired military, so we were able to go to the base for groceries and discounted tickets for various tourist attractions. The only problem we had was a broken lock on a sliding glass door, which we easily fixed with a broom handle and piece of metal we found in a closet. We would love to go back again!

We had an amazing trip to Key West! The house was spot on!! Our family loved the decks the pool was amazing and you can’t beat the amazing waterfront view!! The rooms were perfect and we had plenty of space to enjoy each other's company! The 2 garage spaces were perfect we used one for our 2 golf carts and the other to park the car! We hope to come back soon and would definitely stay again!! Beautiful home and a quick golf cart ride to the old key west streets! Cheers until next time!!

The vacation location is great, it’s a quick golf cart ride to the hustle and bustle on Duval but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and amazing sunset view. The pool adds a perfect addition to cool down after a busy day of fun downtown. The house has plenty of room for all in our party but could have been a little cleaner with regards to the floors and bathrooms. Overall was a wonderful experience we would highly recommend

The home was perfect for our group of 8 adults; pool awesome, layout of the home nice. But many maintenance issues, some that should have been caught by cleaners. Downstairs shower took many hours to drain and the main sliding door to the porch would not stay latched and gapped open. Other things not so obvious, but a thorough inspection would have caught. We left a list, hopefully they will work them.

Property over all very nice. Few minor issues to address: need a new grill; master bedroom shower never got more than luke warm; need additional blankets in the bedrooms and livingroom furniture getting saggy.

Needs some attention
It was a historically cold and windy weekend in Key West, so having no heat in the upstairs of the house might be understandable. But the nail heads I stepped on in the master bedroom carpet, injuring my toe are not. Also need to fix the front door lock- we spent way too much time trying to make it work.

Had a great time at this property. Found the home to be clean and spacious for our group. The views from the back porch to the water were really beautiful. The power went out during our stay, and we did have some plumbing issues but Javier was easy to get in touch with and quick to address our concerns. Would definitely stay here again.

The house looked just as the pictures. Beautiful home. The only thing that was kind of bothersome was the water in the master shower the plumbing was backwards. It took a few days of cold showers to get it figured out. Hot was cold and the cold was hot. Plenty of room for everyone. It would have been nice if there were more cleaning supplies on hand to wipe the table and counters down but other than that it was perfect!

I overpacked and quickly realized I didn't need all the things that I brought with me because it was already provided in the house. There's plenty of dishes/cook ware. There were even plenty of beach towels provided at the house which was a bonus. Hair dyers, iron/ironing board provided. The pool is perfect, great temperature. Beds/linens/towels were clean. The washer and dryer was awesome. I wish there was more paper towels and toilet paper provided.

Property was clean & had plenty of towels for bath & pool.. It was nice to have 4 bedrooms with 4 complete baths. Loved that the twin beds could be converted into king beds! Fantastic view of the bay! Pool was clean & just the right size.
