Once you enter the space, you can’t help but feel the history in the walls as you take in the vintage wood floors, massive chandeliers, exposed floor-to-ceiling brick walls, and huge open floor plan. Sister’s Summer Trip ‘24 is now a beautiful memory. This property was perfectly located in downtown Brevard. We could walk to all of the local restaurants and shops easily. The penthouse was very lovely and welcoming at the end of a fun day. It’s beautiful and we couldn’t have found more charming and comfortable accommodations.

This was a wonderful place to stay for five days and I would highly recommend it

Just a phenomenal place in downtown. So much character. So much warmth. So spacious. This stay was a treat for me to visit a dear friend while I was rerouted, stuck in bad weather and mechanical plane issues. I was so delighted to enter this space and truly relax in the splendor visible from every window.
My host Allison was incredibly responsive. I decided to leave a day early because of a break in the weather before the next storm. She was so kind to check the weather and tell me it was improving and invite me to go ahead and complete my stay. Regretfully, I had already left for the airport. But... I am looking at my calendar and trying to reply plan a return visit. And I know exactly where I'll stay.
Thank you Alison.

The Loft is beautiful and met all our needs. We enjoyed our stay ther and loved being right downtown.
But after our stay and discussing things with the host and how the property was left, I would suggest not having children stay there.
I have back issues, and the king size mattress was very nice and comfortable. I would suggest not eating in the bedroom as the host is very picky about her shag rug and other items.
The piano is pretty but in need of tuning badly. I am a pianist and was excited to see a piano as an amenity. I did play a few pieces, but there were keys that were stuck, and it was definitely flat sounding.
Don't use the toaster oven and oven at the same time. It will trip the breaker. This was not told to us and alas we tripped it. Thankfully with where the breaker box was, it was an easy fix.
Do not pick up or mess with any of the skeleton keys you may see. This will upset the host and you're liable to be accused of getting in a space that was off limits.
Do not move the floor lamp in the living room.
Do not eat in the living room. Eat at the bar or table provided. The host is picky about her furniture.
The murphy bed is comfortable but getting in it is tricky as it moves with you. Lightly get into it and make sure you don't scratch the paint.
Because this place is filled with vintage and possibly antiques, again, I would suggest not bringing children to stay. Host is very picky.

I cannot say enough about this wonderful loft and the great location. The pictures do not do it justice at all. You are in the heart of Brevard and within walking distance to all of the amazing restaurants and shops. The host was very quick to respond and all the information given was easy to follow and very helpful.
I have already recommended this location to several friends and family and my husband and I look forward to staying again in the future.

The loft was great - everything in was advertised to be. Great location to lots of waterfall hikes and great time for colors to be at their peak. Loft was comfortable and amazingly set up - kitchen was set up to cook in all you want; having the washer & dryer on hand for our 2 week stay worked out well; loved the bar in the kitchen. Best location downtown to everything. Eat at Square Root - food was best! Everything was well done.
Two minor items, would have been nice if TV set up came with standard TV stations ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX - World Ser. was running and we couldn't watch -even brought our ROKU from home and these stations were blocked. For the high end this wonderful place is - these should come standard. Also its a small town, but busy street - do get a bit of traffic noise and Fire Station is just down the block, and the sound assist street crossing run 24 hours - so we hear them in the loft in the middle of the night ... but also part of the charm. little things - but we would go back.
Great time over all!

This was the nicest, most interesting, most appealing and most amazing place we have stayed. The views, the location, the history, the decor, just incredible. Great food, great music, great galleries and shopping just steps away. You will feel like royalty here!
We will definitely be back.

Great stay at Luna Loft! The space was bigger and better than I expected. We loved the brick, high ceilings, and decor. It was like we stepped back in time, but still had all the modern luxuries. It was so convenient to walk to the restaurants and shops. Brevard is a very small town, but I’m glad we opted to stay there instead of Asheville for our mountain getaway as it was the perfect location for easy access to hiking and lots of waterfalls.

What a fantastic location and very unique! Renovated such that the charm, history, and character of the place remain with original flooring, old brick walls, high ceilings, and all the great windows overlooking Brevard. The kitchen designed behind the bar was perfect and enjoyed playing on the baby grand. Everything downtown was basically at your doorstep.

Great 6 days in a very artistically done space on the third floor of a historic building in Brevard. Everything about the Luna Loft was first class including the owners/Vrbo agent. The town itself was walkable and interesting. Eating possibilities were varied and good. Day hikes and waterfalls within 15-30 minutes of Brevard are plentiful.

Our family just spent a week in the Luna Loft, and what a gem! Beautifully decorated with a mix of the modern and the old. The apartment was clean and functional. The bathroom is a bit tight, but it met our needs. We loved being able to walk to stores, restaurants, bakeries, and parks. We appreciated the history of the building as well. If you are considering this space, keep in mind you have to negotiate 48 steps to reach the apartment on the third floor. It is also an older building, so the floors squeak and are not completely even. However, that is part of the charm of this loft apartment.

Really loved the property. Surprisingly spacious and eclectic. Stayed 6 days and could have stayed longer. Very convenient (walkable) to everything. Alison very responsive.

Wonderful. We felt Like we traveled back in time. We even brought a couple of outfits to pretend we were living in the 1930s

The Luna Loft is a beautiful and well-executed place on the 3rd floor of a building constructed in Brevard around 1893.
The accommodations were very well done. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook if you like. The living room was comfortable and the dining room can seat up to 6 if you have company. The bathroom is a little bit cramped, but clean and functional. If you are having more than two guests, take this into consideration.
The piano is a nice touch next to the elegant bar facing from the kitchen. We only wish that the electronic "player piano" device was hooked up and functional, there are plenty of discs stored in the bench at the piano.
Only a couple of minor dings, though. The foyer at the entrance is very dark and it was difficult to get the lock box open without a flashlight. The light fixture there should be left on when housekeeping departs to help the next guests. And there were some bulbs out that didn't help the situation.
Lastly, if you are planning to stay here, you better be in good enough shape to walk up 3 flights of stairs with your luggage in tow. No elevator since it's an older building. My right knee has been an issue for a few years and this made going in and out to do things very tiring and painful. That's not a complaint, just a fact of what the building is.
Overall, a great place to stay, very unique and we had very prompt responses from the owners when needed.

Luna Loft is just perfect. We loved being downtown and the property is spectacular!

We spent 2 weeks in the Luna Loft, a beautiful space & central location in downtown Brevard. The owners have made the space comfortable & homey. Located on the 3rd floor above retail & offices, the loft is very spacious. with big windows on 2 sides overlooking the street & alley.
We recommend these accommodations and would return again.
PROS: Location! Dedicated master King bedroom & single bathroom w/shower & W/D. Well-appointed kitchen w/bar & the usual expected amenities. Good WIFI & TV area. Enhanced lighting features & extra pull out bed available if needed.
FAVORITE Restaurants : The Square Root, The Falls Landing, Quixote Mexican, & Vescovo. Plenty of other good places, these rose to the top for us. Nice selection of coffee shops, bakeries & brew pubs.
CONS: No real negatives, just be aware:
1) No elevator to 3rd floor - 49 stairs/
up 3 flights.
2) Parking is behind bldg. Two spots. Not the greatest curb appeal as its where trash cans, etc live. Note: Unloading /reloading can be done on street in front of main access door. Parking time limited there is 2 hours.

We were in town for a long weekend and loved staying at the Luna Loft! The location literally could not get better. Parking and logistics were super easy. We could not get enough of the brick and wood - such a warm feel on a rainy day. We also loved the quirky charm of the place. The bed & couch were super comfy… and the amenities (with some nice touches) were great! Could not ask for more! Thank you :)

This loft was all we had hoped for and more, tons of character and a great "feel" to the place, super comfortable bed and every need anticipated- we are also VRBO owners so we're extra picky!
The location is also great- right in the middle of town! Would definitely stay again and have already recommended to friends

Where do I even begin? Our stay at the Luna loft was absolutely incredible! The place is a site to see in itself. I felt like I was in a 1920s speak easy or some kind of Hollywood movie. The dimmable lights throughout really added to the mood you wanted. The loft was stocked with everything you could need for a vacation. Check in was easy, you’re right downtown and walking distance to bars, restaurants, and shops. To be able to stay in such a space was really a treat. I would say “ the gentlemen would approve”. If I am ever within 30 minutes of Luna loft I plan on staying there if it’s available. The owners sharing this space with the public is incredible.

Spacious, elegant and very comfortable. Someone did a great job of designing this space and making something very special out of an older building. Location is excellent. A short walk or bike ride to lots of shopping and dining. About a 20 minute drive to great mountain biking and hiking at DuPont and even closer to Pisgah. We would love to spend more time here.
