Be surprised here at The Breakwater, where you and your family can have the ultimate sophisticated beachside getaway. Located only 1.5 hours from Sydney and 40 minutes to Newcastle, this magnificent 4-5 bedroom home has all the style and comforts to make your holiday one to remember.
Sleeping up to 20 people, this spacious three level family friendly home features bedrooms that are conveniently set up for large families. With its 5.3 meter high ceilings in the dining area, the open plan layout of this home creates the perfect environment to make everlasting memories.
On the top level you find 3 bedrooms. Bedroom one has a King bed, private ensuite with double shower, walk in robe and bunk beds. The bunks are in a room that flows off from bedroom one.
Bedroom two has a queen bed, ceiling fan and a closet. Bedroom three has a queen bed, double bed and a set of bunks. This level has ducted air-conditioning throughout and these rooms can be individually controlled via a LCD screen monitor located in the hallway.
One of the main bathrooms is located on this floor and has a large shower, toilet, basin, bath tub and heated towel rack.
Walk down the wide stairs and you’ll find yourself on the middle level which has spotted gum timber floors throughout. Here you will find the fourth bedroom which consists of a queen bed and another set of bunks. This room has direct access to the downstairs bathroom which has a shower, basin, toilet and a heated towel rack.
The stunning fully equipped kitchen is also on this level and is finished to the highest of standards. With its 60mm thick granite bench tops, Bosch appliances and a new french door fridge, your inner chef will be inspired.
Wine and dine either in the dining area, sunroom space or the lounge. The open plan layout of The Breakwater allows that free flow spacious vibe that invites you to relax in any area of the house. The sunroom boasts a wall of white french glass windows that let the sunlight glisten through the leafy green landscaped garden. Feeling tired and achy from all the swimming, walking and fresh air? Help yourself to the brand new 2 person infrared sauna. You can rejuvenate your muscles and wellbeing whilst reading a good book or stare out into the garden oasis.
The dining area is the heart of the home and is located under a 5.3 meter high ceiling. The 3 meter long table a can accommodate up to 16 seats and is perfect for those large family gatherings.
Adjacent to this is the lounge area with comfortable leather lounges. A large smart TV with Netflix and Disney is provided for your enjoyment.
There is also a dedicated open study/office area off the lounge room. This room is bright and airy with high ceilings and two cedar windows to let the natural light shine in. Wifi is also provided.
On ground floor level of The Breakwater there is a huge garage with a ping pong table and kayaks for your use and more than enough room for two cars. There is also internal access from the garage.
The backyard has a large trampoline and a play set. The garden has many visitors, such as Kookaburras, Lorikeets, Tawny Frog Mouth Owls, Bandicoots and even the occasional Brush Turkey.
The Breakwater property is 10 houses back from the ocean with Caves Beach on the northern side and Spoon Rocks Beach to the south. The coastal location puts you on the door step on the largest saltwater lake in the southern hemisphere, Lake Macquarie.
At the end of the street, there is a coastal walking track that links Caves Beach with the headland just south of Pinny's Beach giving spectacular views over the coastline and ocean along the way. This is a 5km return walk.
Some points of interest are:
- Masons breakwater (access path is at the beginning of the street)
- the caves at Caves Beach.
- Excellent fishing, diving and snorkelling locations.
- The Grannies Pool at Blacksmiths
- Belmont Golf course - 10 minute drive
- Fraser Beach National Park
