Situated just 60 yards from the harbour, Bethel Chapel places you at the heart of this nautical village. You’re also right opposite the Staithes Heritage Museum, which documents the area’s rich and colourful history. With your own parking space, an invaluable feature in this steep-banked village, convenience is guaranteed. The chapel itself is built from traditional sandstone, a distinctive feature of the area’s architecture.
Inside, you’ll be awed by the incredible open-plan living area, once the chapel’s sanctuary. High ceilings stretch above the space, with a mezzanine circling overhead, creating a feeling of grandeur. The well-equipped kitchen, creatively built within the frame of the chapel’s altar, makes meal preparation a joy, while the long dining table can comfortably seat all guests. On the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms and a shower room, while upstairs, two more double bedrooms await.
