As you approach the home, notice the stairs up to the entry that elevates the home from snow and provides amazing views. The full length, enclosed front porch, serves as the nostalgic gateway to this to this unparalleled residence that spans over 3, 000 SF of living space. Upon entering the spacious living/dining room, the combination of soaring ceilings and and plethora of grand windows, creates a bright and airy setting with a TV hidden in the antique armoire. At the rear of the main level, you'll enter the generous kitchen where you are greeted with jaw-dropping views of Mt. Crested Butte and the surrounding mountains through an expansive wall of windows.(Note: kitchen is under remodel...almost ready for pictures!) There is plenty of space for your dining table in the kitchen, as well as access out onto the back deck through the rear coat room where the half-bath resides.The main floor bedroom and adjoining twin bedroom (under remodel and not in photos) both connecting to a fun blue tile full private bath. On the second floor you'll enjoy two spacious guest rooms with an over-sized, common bath (also under remodel). Surrounded by mature trees and beautiful wildflowers, this elevated site has some of the most premium views available in town. Dual staircases, one at the front of the home and one to the rear, provide access to a finished basement that includes additional rooms, full bath, laundry and rec room with pool table and tv. Additional amenities like a washing machine, 2 TVs, WiFi, and a fully equipped kitchen. With 4 bathrooms equipped with hair dryers and showers, your comfort is guaranteed.
Crested Butte is known as the "The Last Great Colorado Ski Town", however this historic residence keeps alive the memory of the early days of mining and ranching, which were the foundations on which this community was built.
