Le lit est plutôt confortable
La propreté est désastreuse, la moquette, sale, qui se décolle et laisse apparaître la moisissure. Des fourmis partout sur la moquette. Le distributeur de savon est cassé.

Nothing.
Everything.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, easy walking distance from the centre of Amsterdam. The Receptionist was excellent, really helpful. I wouldn't say it wasn't clean: the sheets and bathroom were clean enough (I would not ahve hesitated to leave if they had been dirty) but the floor was sort of sticky and I did not dare look under the bed. The aircon was brilliant, worked well, a real bonus. It was good to have a shower with warm water and soap was provided but it could have done with a good scrub at the extremities. Great that you can leave your luggage securely at Blossoms, just along the road.
This was the smallest hotel room in Amsterdam, barely bigger then the bed ( max 5m2) and the walls were paper thin meaning we could hear revellers returning throughout the night. It was the cheapest room we could find for one night near the centre but at E250 for one night we wished we had stayed further out and taken the transport hit. It was not good value for money. By contrast we paid E138 for a night in Arnhem with free use of Spa and excellent buffet breakfast included. There was no comparison and the train was only E18 each to get there and back....

great location and great staff!
nothing, everything was as wanted for the price

The location is top. Well, ignoring the brothel neighboring the hotel. But if you sleep at night you won't notice it.
Hair from a stranger in my freshly made bed. An old boxershorts behind the heating. Dust, so much dust.
2.5
The location is the point plus. The staff is also so kind and friendly. The room itself is okay and pretty much comfortable even with no view. I had good rest and enjoy my stay.

Location of the hotel is pretty good.
Where to start? The room was very very small. Basically just a bed with small walking space around it, if you travel with suitcase you could not even put it there on ground. The carpet in the halls looks horrible, carpet in the room was very dirty. You can hear everyone on the hall from your room. The pillows were dirty. The bed was supposed to be double bed, but it is just to single beds put together, first night we felt like there is hole in middle, so we lift it up ans saw hole between the beds and put them together. We also got two towels with holes in them. I know Amsterdam prices crazy, but i would imagine more from this hotel. Keep in mind that cleaning of the room during your stay is for additional charge too.

Location was fine
Room was too dirty! It was so disgusting! The carpets was dirty, towels and bedding set also was with dirty spots and also a big spot of black mold. The bed was so uncomfortable. This place is awful!
2.5
The location.
The room was not clean, dust was everywhere and sheets had stains and hairs on them. When we requested new sheets upon arrival, we had to remove the ones that were already there and we got to see the very dirty mattress and pillows. The room was TINY, with no wardrobe just a couple of hangers, no desk, no chairs, no real nightstands. We had no place to lay or hang our clothes and other things, so it got messy quickly. The shower flooded the bathroom every time we showered. Not worth the money paid.

Central and not expensive
Dirty, somehow noisy.
Deposit does not make sense

uncomfy bed and mattress

My room had a nice view. Staff were polite
2.5
The staff was really nice, the cat was soft and the shower was hot
The cold and the smell. The sheets smelled like bleach, like a lot, I had headaches because of the smell.
2.5
Nothing.
Worst hotel in the world. An immersive WW2 experience, with paper thin walls as the walking wounded stumbled in all night, insecure building with open front door, and musty and stained *everything* in the room. (The room is more of a box with a bed in it).
2.5
nothing, even the doors to the outside are open to all pedestrians with no security at all
dirty, dusty, unsafe, old ripped towels, stinky bathrooms and dirty showers, stained and dorty carpets, old and musky.
2.5
Absolutely nothing, a prison cell would have been nicer
The carpet was stained badly
The pillows were stained and yellow
The twin beds fell apart during the night (see picture)
No Bath towels in the room
Awful smell in the room
Smelt of cigarettes stale smoke
Bed bug bites on my friend's back
Dirty mattress with signs of bed bugs droppings stains (see mattress picture)
The room was so small we couldn't even get changed into clothes
Holes in the room door
The toilet was so close to the wall you could sit down on the toilet, with nowhere for your knees to go!
It was a depressing stay. We checked out and booked into another hotel
(We are 19 years old males)

Stayed at this hotel over 5 times now, the location of the hotel is perfect and the staff were helpful and welcoming
the rooms where just not up to scratch, the bathroom flooded every single time you used the shower , only half a roll of toilet roll provided.
We was also awaken at 7am by the fire alarm going off due to somone using the shower ( yes we where advised that if you use the shower it may set of the alarm 🤣)
The Fan in the room kicking out dust allover the room with no window to open to let out, I have and allways will love my stay at Aston city as it's my "go to " hotel In amsterdam but this time I thought the quality was poor

it is an excellent location - perfect place for transport and sightseeing. the room was as it was in the 1970's but it had a new bathroom with no toilet paper. It was clean.
The electronic lock on the front door was broken and so the front door of the hotel was open all the time even through the night. My room was on the ground floor at the end of the hall in sight of the open front door. There were people coming and going all night. The room had a window looking onto the back which looked unsafe and I found the window had been left off the catch by the cleaners or last person. The room was sold as a double but it had two single beds together with a mattress topper on it - in the night the single beds kept drifting apart and I found myself falling between them because the beds were not locked together. There was no water, only a vending machine which was faulty and vended coco cola instead of water. I think this hotel is probably Chinese and they have no clue, but the staff are friendly and helpful. The WIFI was straightforward and worked, but every few minutes it would glitch and go dark.

Shower was nice, bathroom was nice in general but a lot of splashing water onto the rest of the floor. Location was nice also, easy to get around the city from here.
Window didnt open so couldnt have fresh air, right beside stairs so heard people up and down stairs all day and in the night, very loud, pillows were very small and uncomfortable, there was also no extra pillows, this make it very very uncomfortable and between no fresh air, no extra pillows and noise we slept so poorly it make the hotel seem horrible even if everything else was good. No breakfast was a poor decision to keep that on, covid restrictions are gone, the fact that we still get no breakfast included just appears cheap at this point.

good location and big bathroom
there were bed bugs in one of the room and some of us had really bad bites
2.5
The location was good and the staff was kind. It was possible to leave our luggage in the hotel before the check-in and after the check-out for free.
The room was very small and basically no with furniture. Furthermore, the room was not very clean neither was the mattress.

Nothing at all was liked
The ad says that there’s a view into a wall or something like that. There was a window into a shaft that went to the outside. But they had put in a lock so I could not open the window and I could not escape through the window if there was a fire. The only other way out of the room except through the door and stairs downstairs. Then when I spoke to the manager he stated that was a fire department restriction oh my God the fire department has you lock up a fire escape? The room was over 90° and I couldn’t open the window and they refused to open it for me. The room stunk of that air spray stuff. Was impossible to sleep that night. None of the shower toiletries had anything in them they were all empty. There was a little bit of hand soap for the sink. This is the worst hotel calling it a hotel is a joke there’s no reception in the building. That’s why at 6 o’clock someone’s room had this ghetto blaster blasting music for over an hour . If there was a reception they could’ve gone and done something about it. When I first checked into the room I was nude and there’s a quick tap at my door and the door opens and there’s a woman standing there Saying security check ….omg she sees me nude. I had paid for 2 people around 130€ and tried to contact hotel that only I would be coming, because my son had broken his foot in Iceland climbing, no reply and no reduction of rent amount when I asked them. This hotel just lies and does nothing .
