Definitely not a 4 star hotel

We expected more from a 4-star hotel. Upon arriving at 3 a.m., we were given a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and something else unpleasant. Despite being exhausted, we couldn’t sleep all night due to the odor, which left us with a very poor first impression. The next morning, we spoke to reception about the issue, and they were helpful in accommodating us with a different room. However, the rooms lack basic amenities like an ironing board and even a simple kettle to make tea after a long day of sightseeing. These are standard features I’ve found in every 4-star hotel I’ve stayed in, so it was quite disappointing not to have them here. On the positive side, the hotel’s location is convenient, with easy access to both the airport and the city center.

Lo amplio que era.

No me gusto nada que me llevé 5 días antes intentando contactar con el hotel por chat y no contestaban y al llegar allí en recepción me esta atendiendo el chico, que si era muy amable, y llega a malas formas el jefe diciendo que yo venia con una mascota y no lo había informado, primero lo informe en la reserva, segundo no me contestaban vía chat y tercero, estaba esperando que el chico acabara de hacer su trabajo para indicarle que traía mascota, que me lo cobrara. Se creía el jefe que me quería colar a la mascota... vamos como si eso no se viera!!. Me dijo de malas formas que eso era lo primero que tenia que comunicar al llegar al mostrador.

Buen hotel, lo único malo el parking

La habitación era muy amplia y bien equipada. Personal del hotel muy amable

El parking. Es un parking anexo que no pertenece al Hotel pero tiene un acuerdo con ellos. No se podía pagar con tarjeta, no tenían cambio y el personal del parking fue bastante antipático

Nos esperábamos tranquilidad y limpieza, y no fue así.

El suelo no estaba del todo limpio, se notaba polvo en el ambiente. Por las mañanas es horrible el ruido que hay. A las 8 de la mañana un ruido de trajín de carros y limpieza que no puedes descansar. Hacen mucho ruido LIMPIANDO LAS HABITACIONES. NO SE PUEDE DESCANSAR, esta claro que las limpiadoras no tienen nada de cuidado. Nos esperábamos mas para las estrellas que tienen. Hemos ido a pensiones en el centro de Madrid con mejor limpieza y menos ruidoso que este hotel. No creo que volvamos.

Un hotel ejemplar.

Lo que más nos gusto fue la tranquilidad, es decir, no sé escuchaba el ruido de las otras habitaciones. Otra cosa que nos gustaría resaltar es la amabilidad de todo su personal, nos hicieron sentir muy cómodos.

El único detalle que no nos gustó del Ilunion fue la comida de su restaurante: cara y de mala calidad.

Quarto confortável, mas não vale o custo benefício

A cama era enorme e muito confortável. Então dormimos muito confortavelmente em 2 adultos e 1 criança. O quarto tem um tamanho muito bom e um armário que dá um otimo apoio. O banheiro e chuveiro são bons também. O metrô está SUPER perto e tem cafés, restaurante e alguns comércios próximos, incluindo um mercado que ajudou a com algumas refeições rápidas e ótimas.

Não sei se foi um erro do booking ou do hotel, mas tenho certeza de ter fechado com café da manhã incluso e não estava considerado na minha estadia. Chegando lá, com uma criança + uma idosa + malas, não tive apoio quase nenhum da equipe para levar tudo para o quarto.

Modest hotel for a short trip

The hotel was generally ok due to its proximity to grocery stores, few restaurants and public transportation (metro, bus). It took about half an hour to reach city center. Beds were comfortable.

The standard rooms were so small that you’re unable to open up a regular 20kg luggage, felt too tiny being in such a room. The water pressure was poor and bathrooms visibly outdated. Hotel staff was moderately friendly, they even sometimes ignored when you said hi passing by the reception and were keen on finishing conversation when you had a few questions - perhaps too busy to accommodate guest experience. The breakfast staff requested payment upfront before enjoying meals which felt non-accommodating and invasive considering this could’ve easily be arranged at the check out or later at reception. Poor choice of breakfast options for vegetarians.

Good affordable option

- Excellent location right across the road from the metro so can get anywhere in the city quite easily - Supermarket next door and variety of food establishments nearby which is good. - 15 minute metro ride to centre of Madrid - Only 20 minute walk to Santiago Bernabeu - Excellent value for money can’t complain. Very impressed with the pricing for what I got.

- Don’t expect a particular good view from your room, not great. - I don’t know why but the noise is overwhelming, you can hear everything and I mean everything in the corridors, soon as the cleaners start outside, you feel like they are in your room, it’s so bad, very thin walls, if you are looking for peace and quietin your hotel, maybe not the best option in Madrid to choose from.

Very good

1- very clean room . 2-size of room was perfect. 3-comfort bed and bed maters. 4-location was very good. metro and bus station were next to the hotel.

1- refrigerator don't work good 2-tv wasn't smarts or android tv . tv channels were very limited. 3-sofa make a bad noise when we want seat. 4-brekfast was very very simple for the 4star hotel.

bad experience

the manager is really professional.

very bad maintenance of the bathtub anti-slip, it was damaged and super slippery, ended up in the hospital urgency room. the trip was very much ended the first day. :( the manger was professional and promised to refund the whole stay, but after 2 months, the money is still not refunded to me. :(

We enjoyed very much

The attention since we arrived to the hotel to the moment we left was amazing. The location is just 25-30 min from the centre and you have busses and metro within the same block.

The breakfast was very good, but it was missing eggs and sausages.
