It is a marvellous place. Debbie is very caring for us. That was a really nice time

We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Debbie's amazing house, there isn't a single thing to fault! The location is fab, the view of the sea is spectacular and the whole area is very scenic. The house was perfect for us, very clean and spacious, with absolutely everything we needed, and more.
Debbie was the perfect host, kind, caring and very informative, our children loved her!
Thank you Debbie for a great stay!

Debbie’s cottage was beautiful, comfortable and well appointed. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Debbie and the resident cat, Lilly - an added bonus! The views from the cottage were exactly as pictured, and made more enjoyable by the neighborhood of sheep, donkeys and cattle. The cottage is on a quiet road by the sea, perfect for daily strolls . Debbie was more than helpful with dining and activity suggestions. The only thing that would make our stay better would have been staying 2 weeks instead of 1. We would DEFINITELY stay there again .

Great vacation accommodation!
The house is located in an idyllic area right at the sea with amazing views over the water. Inside, all the rooms are spacious and have a lot of light.
The kitchen is equipped with a multitude of appliances, so you can prepare any meal you fancy.
The host is very friendly, accommodating and helpful with many recommendations for e.g. shops, activities and restaurants.
Guests are also provided with detailed information about the house, the appliances and the area around.
The nearest supermarket, gas station and Pubs are a 5 minute drive from the house.
All in all, this vacation home is a perfect place to experience the west coast of Ireland.

Debbie and her place were amazing!! The pictures don’t do justice to this restful place. I could feel myself relaxing the moment I stepped out of the car with the view, sounds of the waves and smell of the sea. While it’s remote, it is also very near to anything you would need. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out and well stocked. Debbie was delightful and a joy! Next time, our stay will be longer!!

There are not enough words to describe Debbie's home, it's truly magical. Surrounded by beauty and nature, we really didn't want to leave. The view is to die for and watching the animals in that wee pocket was just lovely (rams, donkeys, birds and Ziggy the dog and Lily the cat having their daily fight )
The house itself was wonderful, big comfy beds and the views from the front windows werte to die for. The owner Debbie was just lovely, kind, friendly and helpful with any queries or local info we had. Definitely think I have left my heart in this wonderful place.
A visit to all the local beaches is a must as is Kylemore Abbey, in its magnificant splendour (apple pie and custard) is a must in the restaurant.
Connemara has a beauty that is in my opinion like no other.

My wife, my mom (whose account I am reviewing from), and a friend stayed at Debbie’s property for a week in late October. I am always a bit leery of beautiful photos in listings because they can be taken from good angles that mislead you a bit. That couldn’t be further from the truth here. Everything about this property is as perfect as you see in the photos. We hiked local trails, we visited the lovely Kylemore Abbey (and don’t miss the gardens!), we ate at the Renvyle hotel, Veldon’s Seafarer bar and restaurant, Paddy Coyne’s, and Angler’s Rest, all local pubs and restaurants. We shopped in Letterfrack, Clifden, and Westport. Most importantly, we woke, every morning, and sat outside some evenings, and just took in the magnificent views. A young girl has a pony that spent most of the week we were in Renvyle right in front of the cottage. My wife was invited to step over the fence and give her treats and rubs. Everyone we met couldn’t have been more friendly. Debbie was so warm and inviting. She gave us advice on what to do and places to see. We’ve been to Ireland three times now and we have tried to stay in different places each time. Renvyle and Sea for Miles is the first place we absolutely plan to return. We took some small stones from the beach, but we all left a tiny piece of our hearts in Renvyle. We can’t recommend staying here highly enough. We can’t wait to make it back.

The pictures do not do the view justice. This was the most beautiful view that I have ever woken up to. Debbie was such an amazing hostess. Very sweet and full of useful advice! We had breakfast at the Anglers Rest every morning and highly recommend it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

The property is exactly as the photos show, easy to find and remote without being too far away from any resources with a beautiful drive to get there. Our host was easily the best host we have ever stayed with. Due to a preexisting condition, one of our party members required an unexpected overnight hospital stay. Our hosts took the time to arrange speedy transport as well as offered to assist in any way possible during this stressful time. The service was already incredible but the assistance in navigating the area during a stressful situation goes above and beyond what we expected. We could never thank them enough for genuinely caring for us even though we are complete strangers. We highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a more local and relaxed stay with good people. Cheers! :)

We had such an incredible stay at Sea For Miles. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient for activities and dining. We couldn't get enough of the view out the front windows and our kids loved the space to run around the front yard as well as the short walk down the road to the local castle! With an amazing beach just a 5 minute drive away and delicious restaurants just down the road, we hardly felt the need to leave the area at all. Would gladly return and recommend to everyone we know!

Debbie's house is situated in one of Ireland's most attractive localities, offering expansive views and vistas over mountains and sea. It was an absolute privilege to experience both the locale and Debbie's extremely generous hospitality. The house is very comfortable with all necessary amenities. We were very sad to say goodbye to Debbie and leave this wonderful property.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! Debbie was the best host. She was responsive, very helpful with answering questions, the house was clean and so cozy. We even had fresh flowers! The location has picturesque views and was a perfect location to explore the area. We hope to visit this area again and if we do we would stay at Debbie’s house in a heartbeat!

Memories for a Lifetime
Sea for Miles was the perfect place for my family to gather to enjoy one another and the beauty of Ireland. Everyone had a wonderful time. The grandchildren went horseback riding, hiking, kayaking, swimming and exploring. The rest of us enjoyed the incredible scenery and food and a good book in front of a peat fire. The view out the window was breathtaking, but everyday we took day trips to the charming towns and villages of Connemara. Debbie was delightful and so helpful to us in planning our daily jaunts. I feel as though I made a new friend. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped. It was all together a great vacation.

Unforgettable views, elegant comforts
My husband and I loved this cozy but spacious house. The Wild Atlantic is right on the doorstep, a soul-stirring view no matter the weather - from the sitting room and from the breakfast bar and dining table in the kitchen. The location feels very remote out on the Renvyle peninsula, but in fact there are homes all along the road and hamlets for groceries and pubs just minutes away. Juxtaposed with the rugged setting, this home is elegantly appointed: luxe bedroom linens, a roomy renovated kitchen with LOTS of dishes, cookware, mugs and drinkware. I especially enjoyed the variety of teapots and wine glasses. We did appreciate the two bathrooms - a handy en suite, and a roomy main bath with large tub/shower combo. Tons of towels, too.
Our hostess, Debbie, was available on a moment's notice and such an advocate for the area , as well as very gracious and warm. When the weather is dodgy - as it was for several days during our stay - the house is equipped with lots of interesting books and family games, some DVDs (and VHS!) of classic movies and Irish films and more - but we were mostly satisfied with the country quiet and gazing out the window at the changing seascape. The home is convenient to Connemara National Park for a good long walk, to shopping in Clifden and to the islands via Cleggan, as well as really close to Kylemore Abbey. Absolutely lovely home - I wished we could stay longer, and we'd happily book it again when we're lucky enough to return to Ireland.

excellent house
honestly, we liked it all. Great house, great facilities. Comfortable beds, comfortable chair and rooms. Quiet and very well well taken care of. A good supply of essentials already in the house. We would gladly stay here again. And the Country Shop in Letterfrack is a full grocery store, more than enough for normal shopping.

Beautiful Views and a Wonderful Home
You have to start with the owner Debbie, when describing the property. So friendly and yet a professional in providing us with every need. The home is very well outfitted, and we could not think of anything we missed from being in our every day home. We needed stable reliable internet, and it was and actually there is a back-up in case one goes down. We found the large windows over looking the ocean to be great, and of course since it was cold took advantage of the fireplace.
The other benefit Debbie provided is she knows everyone and they know her, so when we needed a driver, a recommendation, etc. she had it all. A + on the in-home guide for the house and area. And yes, Debbie a golfer herself, can provide local and area courses to play.
Thank you Debbie for a wonderful stay, for myself my wife and daughter.

A week in Connemara in October was always going to be chancy, who knew what the weather would do! As it turned out we had a few days of reasonable sunshine and a few days of heavy rain and strong winds.
On the good days we were out doing stuff, messing about in boats, taking in the beauty of Kylemore Abbey and walking on white sand beaches. With the thought that returning to our fantastic haven on the Atlantic coast was going to enhance the beautiful days we had enjoyed.
On the bad weather days we tended not to venture far from home. Maybe nip into the village to top up with the "essentials" (wine, beer, cakes and newspapers!). Then we decided which of Debbie's varied selection of DVDs we would watch, interspersed with which of our selection of Irish traditional music CD's we would listen to! I could think of no better way of passing a wet and windy day than sitting in the lounge of Sea For Miles, with a glass of really nice beer (on this occasion I discovered McGargles many fine IPAs) whilst listening to a very good Altan CD and watching the Atlantic Ocean dance "before my very eyes"!!
This is a fantastic holiday home, in a fantastic place. If you're going to Connemara, stay here - you'll love it!!!

A beautiful property in a stunning location
We just spent a week at Sea for Miles, and absolutely loved it. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with a newly remodeled kitchen, and the views are spectacular! The Connemara region is one of the most beautiful in Ireland, and there are numerous excellent dining choices just a short drive away in Tullycross, Letterfrack, Clifden and other nearby towns. The owner, Debbie Ruddy, is a wonderful host and always available to answer any questions and provide helpful local knowledge. We highly recommended visiting this part of Ireland, and we even more highly recommend staying at this property. We hope to return for another visit.

Spectacular View
The house and view were perfect. Photos are very accurate and the view is better than photos! Our host was wonderful, so organized and great communication. The house has everything we needed for the comforts of home. After our daily adventures, so relaxing to sit by the fire, sipping wine and enjoy the oceanfront views. Local pubs near property are authentic with great food, especially seafood, and local Irish music. Grocery stores had all necessities including daily fresh bread and pastries. Highly recommend this property to all and we are already planning our return for next year! So many things to see and do in the area. Thank you so much, Debbie, we had a fantastic vacation!

A beautiful home
We stayed at Debbie's home only 5 days but certainly would have liked to stay more. The location is amazing and the name is really apt as you can really see a lot of sea from the windows. The place is beautiful when the sky is blue but even if it is windy or raining it is nice to watch the wild sea from the living room window. The house is equipped with everything one needs and Debbie is a lovely owner. There are lots of walking places close by and at night a lot of stars can be seen because there is very little light pollution.
