Beautiful villa with lovely pool and views to die for. For those seeking all mod cons and air conditioning this might not be for you but the hill-top position and the open nature of the villa pretty much guarantees cooling breezes. The management staff were super helpful and quickly sorted any niggles. We will definitely return

We had a lovely time, great views, very nice pool, quick responses from owner and management when we had questions, fantastic holiday.
8.0 / 10.0
The property is stunning and the property is one of those homes that you see in a magazine. The views are gorgeous, the decor is amazing, the infinity pool and porches add to the overall ambiance.
Things we loved about the villa:
- very secure and safe
- the landscaping and views are incredible
- the wildlife is amazing. There were many birds, geckos, frogs and different types of bugs
- very spacious and clean
Things to note:
- the drive up to the villa is very windy and you must take your time as the drivers in Tobago are a little chaotic. However, this is no fault of the property. You wouldn't have the views and privacy if it wasn't located where it was
- the windows are covered with shutters which doesn't keep the bugs, frogs and geckos out of the villa. This didn't bother us at all as we found it amusing overall. I read in previous reviews that the mosquitos were bad, however we didn't find this at all
- currently there is a water shortage on the island, which is no fault of the owner. They did their best to supply water for us, but we did find ourselves without the ability to shower or flush the toilets at many different points during our stay for almost a total of 36 hours. The management staff did bring up bottled water to ensure we had plenty to drink
We found Marvin (the groundskeeper) was very easy to get a hold of, however, we had difficulty getting a hold of the management company at times and they didn't respond in a timely manner.

Beautiful villa with outstanding views from large veranda and pool. Extremely helpful management company, owner and next door handyman. We hope to return.

It was an amazing experience. This villa was perfect for our family vacation. Rea, the property manager was the most accommodating and reliable. We felt safe with the grounds keeper and his huge dogs nearby.
There were towels and pool towels. And a washer & drier. A dishwasher as well. Everything you could need for convenience.
My only issue was the heat. There's no ac, so it was unbearably hot in the day time. My 2 year old especially suffered during his naps, even with the fans directly on him. Another issue derived from the heat, was having to open and close all those windows each day.
If we didn't close them in time every night, the bugs would take over.
Maybe they could put mesh over the windows to prevent the bugsfrom coming in, i think that would be a huge improvement.
Overall though, we loved staying here. Very close to several beautiful beaches. We didn't have to drive far for groceries or take out. Everything was within 15mins drive.
We intend on staying here again in the future.

Beautiful looking property with gorgeous views. The louvred windows were a big problem for us due to the bug infestation! We could not sleep even with the mosquito nets due to the amount of bugs trying to eat us alive. We came mid June and rains just started. A/C would have helped tremendously so we didn't need to open the windows- but the humidity was stifling.

We had such a wonderful time at Villa Sweet Breeze. The home was just stunning and the view spectacular. I loved starting and ending the day on the terrace and I will so miss seeing the masses of hummingbirds that head to one of the shrubs.

What can I say but absolutely fantastic! We had a long stay (5+ weeks) in Jan-Feb 2023 and throughout our visit everything was efficient, warm and welcoming.
The villa is set slightly on a hill in a quiet residential area and generally mosquitos free. The veranda and swimming pool are superb with breathtaking views.
There are the normal Caribbean noises: booming Reggae from (a few) passing cars,“ grass strimming and some party noise (never after midnight!) from the next door villa but all were either very short lived or unobtrusive. The most noise was the early morning calls of the local Coricos (the Tobago national bird) but after the first few days these can be ignored.
The villa is beautifully and elegantly furnished with a well equipped Kitchen. In addition it is close enough to all amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants and beaches to make for an easy life. Though a car is essential not only for shopping but for trips out (a visit Corbin Wildlife.is highly recommended).
From start to finish all the people we dealt with (owner, management company, housekeeper, gardener etc.) were welcoming, professional, extremely efficient and dealt with any minor issues immediately.
In summary:
Pros: Everything:
Cons: a) The villa is so enticing it is difficult to drag yourself away to discover the rest of the wonderful island of Tobago and b) You won’t want to leave to come home!
We’re already planning our next trip to the paradise of Villa Sweet Breezes!

After spending some time in the busier parts of Crown Point for a week we were ready to slow down a bit and this was the house to do it in. A great house on the hills with a spectacular view of the forrest down towards the ocean in a distance. It has a great breeze through the house and the AC we were concerned about when booking this house is not needed as Jenny stated when asked about it. The pool, porch, and the ability to open up the west facing doors made it the best place to unwind especially in the afternoons and sunsets after the daily excursions. All contacts with the owner Jenny has been very quick and easy, and we would gladly like to recommend this house to all visitors to Tobago. Thanks Jenny for letting us stay in your house and hope to see it again in the future.

I’ve been traveling to Tobago for 20+ years and have stayed in literally dozens of properties during this time. Villa Sweet Breeze was the pinnacle of all those experiences. Jenny was professional, accommodating, caring. The house was exquisite - just as described, perfect location, amenities to spare. Everything was perfect upon arrival and during our stay. The property management team was very helpful and had lots of recommendations for us. There’s no doubt in my mind that I’ll be returning!

Villa Sweet Breeze turned out to be everything we hoped for! We wanted to stay away from the hustle and noise of the Christmas season, and up there, on Patience Hill, we found exactly that. The house is spacious, beautiful, well-equipped [and many books to choose from!]. The manicured lawn and shrubbery made for pleasant morning strolls. And we spent many afternoons lazing in the infinity pool, watching the sun go down. Being so close to nature was very relaxing, the cocrico family greeted us every morning, and it was just wonderful seeing the hummingbirds and bananaquits. My son [11 yrs] enjoyed the books on Birds of T&T, my daughter [7] enjoyed the games, puzzles and kids books; and I had a read of one of the novels.
While we enjoyed our stay, there are a number of areas that can be addressed. Primarily, the front door to the property is a bit troublesome. It would take quite a while to get the two sets of doors to open and to close. This makes for a safety hazard in the event of an emergency. Also, when we arrived on Monday [at 4.10pm], we had to wait for the housekeeper to finish clean and make the beds. We had been informed of this before arriving there, and we were ok with it. However, we were under the impression that she'd take a mere half an hour. She didn't leave until 7pm, and only then were we able to use the rooms upstairs.
Thirdly, we did think it was unseemly to ask guests to remove their own garbage. An alternative arrangement should be made for garbage disposal.
All in all, it has been a wonderful experience. We'll be talking about the views from the house and the unremarkable breezes for a long time to come.
Thank you for having us!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Sweet Breeze! It is a beautiful villa located in the hills with spectacular views of the surrounding jungle and coastal bay. We enjoyed everything Tobago had to offer while staying here, but easily could've spent our entire vacation at this beautiful property!
The owner of the property, property management company and staff were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. They were even able to recommend a great car rental company that assisted us in finding the property!
We highly recommend Villa Sweet Breeze to anyone visiting Tobago and we hope to return very soon! The only bad thing about our stay here was having to leave.

Beautiful property
I had a peaceful and yet amazing stay at this villa. The house is beautiful and inviting. The view was breathtaking. Make sure to walk with insect spray. Also, if you are renting a car, be careful driving because the roads to the house are steep and narrow. 5 stars. Jenny is a good host.

Villa Sweet Breeze
My family of 4 stayed at this beautiful villa for my birthday in April 2022. The surroundings are peaceful and private, great ambiance. The name given to the villa is quite appropriate since the refreshing breeze is felt at all points of the house. The early mornings were one of the best times of my day… the quaint calls of the Cocrico (native bird of Tobago) can be heard on early mornings and late evenings. All conveniences (pots; utensils, pool towels, washing machine/dryer, etc) are available in the villa for a comfortable stay. We plan to visit again in the future.
I would suggest that you choose to arrive at the villa during the day time, as the roadway is precarious and can be a challenge to persons unfamiliar with such terrain especially at night.

Breathtaking views
I booked this trip as a last minute getaway for a few of my close friends/family. We were a bit concerned about the property having no air conditioning but we did not miss it! The house was still very cool and breezy and we kept the doors open for the majority of the time. The best part of this property is the privacy and the views! As soon as we walked in and saw the view we were all wowed. The openness of the downstairs area with the outdoors is also great. There were a few mosquitoes around dawn, but honestly that is not something you can get away from in Tobago, and it was not too bad. Some of us slept with the mosquito nets down at night and with the fans, so that kept the bugs and mosquitoes away. All in all, this property was everything we were looking for and we all had a great stay!

Villa Sweet Breeze Stay
We had an excellent stay at Villa Sweet Breeze.
From the description of the property we really hoped that villa would be part of the holiday experience and we really weren't disappointed.
The villa is as lovely as the pictures show, with a beautiful garden and a great surrounding view. We spent a few days of our holiday relaxing inside, or on the veranda or lying by the pool.
The villa is well maintained and the property manager was very responsive and helpful when we had any issues.
The only thing I would say is that you really need a car as the property is at the top of a very high hill which is not really a walkable distance to the bottom.
We had a great stay in Tobago and it was definitely enhanced by our stay at Villa Sweet Breeze.

Sweet Breeze Villa is set in glorious tropical woodland with panoramic , unspoilt views in several directions. At night the lights of Buccoo Bay glitter far in the distance - and we enjoyed stargazing out by the pool. High ceilings, wooden louvres, no glass, constant gentle breezes - the best of the tropics. But sleeping in is challenging because of the raucous cocricos - a minor price to pay for this total immersion in nature. And buying very fresh fish, having an ocean swim, getting groceries a mere ten minutes a drive down the curvy hillside road. It’s beautiful and we loved it.On a more practical level, some bathroom updates and new kitchen cutlery and pots would be nice.

Jenny’s place is flawless. We couldn’t have imagined the combination of forest, ocean views, nature, the best private pool we’ve encountered, wonderful staff, and every detail considered that we had here. It was absolutely perfect, and we will be back. Word to the wise: if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs (roosters, parrots, etc, sound travels on this mostly peaceful hill). Also, we really recommend that you fully embrace your visit to the island. Get a car, go to all the beaches, stop at the side of the road bars and soup/food/fruit stands, and go to Scarborough market, along the beaches on Northside Road, or Buccoo dock for fresh fish. We cannot imagine if we stayed here and just hung out at the property - along there are days that lounging in the hammock with Trinidad rum should be the only objective - just went to Pigeon Point (although you must), or took taxis from A to B. We saw pretty much the whole island in 4 days driving around, and it was the best experience (avoiding Arnos Vale Road). Just be sure you can drive on the left, in diverse road conditions, and be a confident driver. The roads on the island aren’t always wide, fully paved, or free of obstructions, but if you take them you will be rewarded. Also be sure to ask Amanda where to get the best doubles (She’s right!) and get there before 5:30pm because they will run out - so good! See you in a year!

Ups and Downs
The initial night was very nice. The villa was isolated just as I wanted it to be with a beautiful view. Regrettably, our time for relaxation was cut short when Tobago was hit with a really bad storm; flooding the villa and ruining our things. Other than that Helen was great and checked on us after the storm had passed. The villa was well equipped with supplies. It had its few hiccups such as the washing machine not working along with sheets that appeared to have not been cleaned.

Wonderful stay, villa was all we expected and more, made our time on the island very special. Well equipped for all our needs, lovely staff. Breathtaking views, lots of wildlife to see and even the neighbouring rooster added to the charm! Would thoroughly recommend it!

Amazing stay
We stayed at Villa Sweet Breeze for two weeks in June. It is a beautiful, tranquil spot with amazing views of the bay in the distance. The house is well-equipped and was perfect for our stay. It really does live up to its name. It was so relaxing to sit on the verandah in the morning and listen to the birds singing. Tobago is a magnificent island, with stunning beaches and scenery. A big thank-you to Amanda, too, who cooked us a delicious meal one evening. We would love to return one day.

Property was as advertised, but is a bit isolated - especially noticeable if you arrive at night as we did - late. Quite enjoyable otherwise. The “handyman” Marvin was particularly kind and helpful.

Getting away from it all...
Villa Sweet Breeze is high up on Patience Hill with fantastic views of the rain forest and the Caribbean below. The house is even better than it appears in the photos, with shuttered doors that can open up the whole ground floor onto the back patio, the cleanest pool of any villa we have ever stayed at, and all the mod cons you could wish for. It is also very private, with no overlooking properties.
The house is well decorated and well equipped, especially in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The owners also provide all the basics in the kitchen, which is very helpful.
The local management team of Helen, Amanda and Marvin were all brilliant, checking occasionally that all was well and being there if we needed them. Amanda also cooked us a local meal one evening, which was a highlight of our trip!
Our 2 weeks in Sweet Breeze flew by, and if you are looking for a fantastic, peaceful retreat in Tobago, then I would certainly recommend this villa.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Helen made sure we were comfortable with our stay. Pool was clean, villa was nice and very airy. A few updates could help make your stay even more pleasant. Jenny answered my emails quickly and offered many suggestions to make our visit perfect. We rented a van locally which worked out great. The island is filled with many voicterous birds and animals which don't care about the time or hour, but are fun to watch. We saw a pair of green parrots every morning along with other beautiful birds that we fed fruit to from the porch. Local restaurants offer wonderful food and the people of Tobago are very nice! We were never afraid of our safety. Beaches are close by or a short drive, beautiful!

Stunning,Relaxing best to get away from it all!
It was a total dream. The style of the house is very inviting and calming. It is just the right amt of everything. The view never gets old. The management team of the property was friendly and helpful! Believe them when they recommend renting a vehicle as it is nestled in the hills. Already thinking of my next booking at Villa Sweet Breeze.

We already miss the birds, breeze, view, food, people and relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with the house. Keston was wonderful and so helpful. We loved having food waiting for us at the house since it was a long day of travel. Thank you for providing a great honeymoon retreat. Beautiful home and property.

Perfect hide away with stunning views.
I have visited the island many times but it was my parents first time. I chose somewhere further up the island so we could have space, our own pool & quiet. Initially I was apprehensive on no air con but I can reassure you the breeze was beautiful at no point was no air con an issue. My other apprehension was driving (not the most confident driver) but I actually enjoyed the experience, very different to back home.
The villa itself was my dream home, every morning & evening to watch the sun rise & set was truly magical. The children loved the pool. Highly recommend. Furthermore the contacts provided were exceptional, felt very welcomed and at ease to ask for advice.
Would definitely stay there again.

Villa Sweet Breeze - Living a Fairy Tale
Staying at Villa Sweet Breeze was like living in a fairy tale. My husband and I stayed with friends, another couple, for two weeks. While the online pictures are beautiful, they can't fully capture how truly stunning the views are. The villa itself is airy, spacious, clean, comfortable and details well thought out. The veranda is fabulous and we enjoyed sitting in the comfortable lounge chairs and hammock to read, watch birds and enjoy stunning sunsets. Flowers are plentiful on the property and I enjoyed the scented jasmine while swimming in the pool which was pristine. The management team was excellent and responsive. We enjoyed superb restaurants nearby such as Fish Pot and Waves. We loved the beautiful beaches and took a memorable catamaran ride on the Picante. One tip would be to rent a small and narrow car as it is easier to manage some of the winding roads in the hills. We can confidently recommend Villa Sweet Breeze and hope that we can come back again in the future.
