Simply amazing!

After an Airbnb host cancelled on us last minute I booked Econolodge for our trip to the Montreal Grand Prix and hoped for the best. The property, location and staff all exceeded our expectations! We will definitely book again on our next trip to Montreal!

I’m glad I selected this property to stay at for my Fortnite vacation. I would choose it again

Location: 3-4 minute walk to Berri-UQAM subway station— I have direct talk with only one turn. Renovated: The room looked like it had fairly new tile, carpet, bed, pillows, furniture, bathroom sink, and toilet. The bed was comfortably firm with superb pillows. Staff: friendly and professional, wanting to please you. Breakfast: The breakfast was the same every day: bread you could toast (White and multi grain), bagels, two kinds of cereal, milk, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, yogurt, apples, bananas, maybe some other beverage I can’t remember. Butter, peanut butter, Nutella, cream cheese, and jams are available every day. I was pleased. They advertised a cold breakfast, so my expectations were met. Common areas: although the building is old, the breakfast nook was updated.

There’s really nothing I was very displeased with, but if I hadn’t been a solo traveler, The creaky floor and creaky bathroom door might have been a problem when one of us had to go use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We would’ve bothered each other. The bathroom door had to be lifted up a little on one side to fit in the door frame to close it. These things didn’t bother me a bit since I was traveling alone.

j'ai aimé, ca va !

J'ai aimé la chambre qui est tout aussi propre un gros WOW.

3 choses : Le stationnement, j'ai eue bien de la misère a rejoindre mon auto, je ne savais pas quel porte la chercher pour mon auto en sous-sol. Donc c'est 0 % Le déjeuner, la table était très sale, personne n'a nettoyer la table pour accueillir les nouveaux qui arrivent. De plus, il manquait beaucoup de nourriture, on était très très déçus ! De plus, le vendredi soir quand j'arrivais un peu tard, je crois il était 10h45 pm, il y avait beaucoup de jeune qui était là entrain de jaser avec le personnel dont j'attendais qu'il me répond quand je suis la, c'est pas fort ca !

Quite fine, I would stay there again.

The breakfast was fine, given the price. The hotel was conveniently located for transit and interesting sites. Staff w as excellent and helpful. Parking was convenient and inexpensive.

The room was down a flight of stairs, and inaccessible by elevator. There was no room to store toiletries in the bathroom, and the room itself was cramped. The biggest surprise was the immediate neighborhood, including the block, which is rapidly gentrifying. It seemed a bit dodgey at night. My guess is that a year from now, it will be completely different and the room rates will be a lot higher.

L'hôtel est idéalement placé, dans le centre de Montréal.

On nous a donné une chambre donnant sur la rue, avec la climatisation en panne (pas de rafraîchissement)et faisant beaucoup de bruit. Donc obligé d'ouvrir la fenêtre et subir le bruit de la circulation. On a donc passé la nuit avec des bouchons d'oreilles. La salle du petit déjeuner est très petite, il faut attendre son tour.

Qu'il n'y ait pas d'air climatisé et/ou chauffage, la vue de notre chambre qui donnait sur une bâtisse à l'abandon, toilette pas bien fixée au sol, qui branle dès qu'on s'assoit, pas d'eau chaude, aucune insonorisation

Très bien

L'hôtel est très bien placé. Transports, commerces et activités touristiques à proximité. Le personnel est accueillant. La chambre est grande et confortable.

La disponibilità di acqua, bevande calde e succhi 24h/24 è un valore aggiunto della struttura, che si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione principale Berri UQAM e permette quindi di raggiungere in modo facile e veloce tutte le parti della città. Da considerare che si tratta di un alloggio semplice e senza pretese.

L emplacement était parfait pour visiter Montreal ,proche de la station de métro Berry uqam ,du bus 747 pour l aéroport et à 15 min à pied environ du vieux Montreal ,le petit déjeuner était copieux et accès aux boissons café chocolat toute la journée ,chambre propre et lits très confortable

La chambre pour 4 un peu petite mais correct quand meme

Good location, helpful bilingual staff, comfortable beds.

Place looks a little old, but it's alright for the price. There wasn't that much space in the breakfast area, so we grabbed our food and went back to our room to eat before checking out.

It was the most unpleasant stay

The room was stinky. It didnt have any Air conditioner in peak summers time. No towels in the bathroom. Front desk/ reception was least bothered on the calls. They didnt even match the price. In total, the stay was very poor and I will never recommend this hotel to anyone

I dint like the service, the cleanliness, the staff, the environment. My experience was terrible..

Pleasant stay for one night in downtown Montreal

Ticked all the boxes - bed, shower, wifi. Nothing really stood out but no issues either. Welcome bag for guests was a nice touch. Had to leave early so can’t comment on the breakfast.

Um. Sketchy neighborhood. Comfy bed. Nice staff.

Bed was comfortable. Free refreshments were nice as well. All staff was very kind.

The were red dots of what appeared to be a splatter of some sorts. On the wall in our room on second floor. On lamp shade in friends room on first floor.in front of desk by lamp stand base ( on the wall ) Was unsettling to be honest. Then also on bathroom towel bar. In corner of actual bar .. more red stuff. Could be paint. Could be makeup. Could be anything. Wish it was cleaned up before the room is booked out. Didn't ask for another room because we were told property was sold out all weekend.

This is our 2nd time staying at here. It's much worse than last year.

Good: -strong & stable wifi -friendly staffs -nice arranged breakfast

Bad: -noisy corridor outsides of room, & that is just next to building's main drainage pipe -automatic climate control by front desk, room is too hot, being asked to open window but can't since window is facing on the street -no hair dryer -towels are quite black in color -no hot water from 10:30am on check-out day Sunday, not recovered until we needed to leave

The location was great

Their cable channels were very poor. Poor/Weak signals. unable to watch any NHL games during our stay. Breakfast area was very small. Had to eat in our room as there were only 3 tables.

A nice place, considering the price.

The staff was wonderful; polite and helpful. The unit was clean, as was the bedding. The cleaning staff were friendly, in spite of only knowing a little bit of English or French ( I got to practice my Spanish a bit, which was great!) The hotel is very close to the Berri-UQAM Metro station, and conveniently, around the corner from the Gare d' Autocars. Breakfast consists of toast and jam or peanut butter, bagels, cereal, coffee or juice, and yogurt and cheese. Everything was fresh and tasty. Oh and there was a microwave in the breakfast room, but not in our room, which was okay. We did, however, have a nice sized fridge, to store our drinks in. Definitely not the Ritz, but great for what we paid. I would stay there again, for sure.

I thought the room was a bit small, and that there wasn't much in the way of storage for clothing, aside from a small closet. The desk in the room was more of a table, and a bit high for us to eat at. The shower took a little long to heat up, as well, but the bathroom was larger and accessible, as I had requested. Other than that, the only other thing that wasn't great was the fact that we had to park across the street. Everything else was wonderful, honestly.
