Modern room, the TV was the biggest I've seen in a hotel and had streaming options, and it pivots to face the couch or the bed. Perfect location in the heart of Halifax restaurants and nightlife, and a couple blocks from the waterfront.
Although we were told we were getting a harbor view, the one window faced a brick wall. If we went right to the window and looked to the side you could see a little in the direction of the waterfront, hah. So the room was dark and the lighting was inadequate, so I didn't like spending a lot of time there.

No parking although they tell you there is. The lot is too small and only a few get parking. I got there 20 minutes after check in and the lit was full. They were not helpful when I asked where else I could park and couldn’t guarantee me a spot the next day. I got on my phone and found another hotel with parking and left after I had already checked in. They told me to go find parking down by the water blocks away.

location
I reserved a room with a King bed. When I arrived I was told they were over booked but I had an upgrade. The “upgrade” consisted of two double beds and was a room for handicapped persons. It smelled intensely of curry and had mold growing in the shower. The “view” consisted of looking out at other rooms and was in a corner where below you could see a roof with gravel and vents. Typically I have loved staying at this hotel but this cost $800 for two nights and was one of the worst stays I have ever had in a hotel. Will not return!

good location and good breakfast
the parking was so tight we almost couldn’t get the car into the parking spot and for this they charge 24 dollars a night and the first room they gave us was very noisy even though we asked for a quiet room it was probably the noisiest in the building, the room on the first floor closest to an Irish pub diagonally across the intersection

Location for harbour front and easy parking
Very noisy outside due to local pub, breakfast area too small and constantly have to ask to be replenished

The staff were very friendly and accommodating in the morning. I saw them refilling the hot food often. They were always in the dining area picking up dirty dishes and wiping down tables. I was there on a long weekend in the summer and it was busy. The reception personnel welcomed you when you entered and were always at the reception desk. I felt safe and secure in this facility. I would stay at this hotel again.
The kitchens were well equipped but as I am a tea drinker and not coffee having a kettle in the room rather than having to have one brought to my room would be better.

Breakfast was good, great selection. Bed was decently comfy.
There was balloons left under our beds from previous people, shows that the room was not cleaned completely. The AC did not get cold enough during the heat wave we were there for.

The staff at breakfast were exceptional in their friendliness and efficiency. The reception staff were also very welcoming and helpful.
Our group really appreciated having a kitchenette, with a great market just down the road so we could prepare some quick meals.
