Good hostel to stay at

It's got a really nice atmosphere and is very welcoming. Also,they include breakfast and an evening meal which I feel is quite good. The bed was comfy

It is fairly basic and even though the bathroom was clean, I feel that the price for a private hostel room was a bit excessive. That said, it is in Victoria and accommodation seems very expensive so I may be unfair in judging against other hostels elsewhere

A proximité, de tout, pour petit budget, idéal pour les jeunes voyageurs !

La situation géographique est parfaite, pas besoin d'utiliser la voiture , principales activités se font à pied. Le service était très bon. Stationnement privé permis à 15$ par jour si disponible, nous avons pu en bénéficier. Idéal pour petit budget, d'ailleurs ca donnait l'aspect d'une Auberge Jeunesse.

La chambre était minuscule avec un frigo et un garde-robe seulement aucun autre équipement. Salle de bain partagée pour 4 chambres. Il faut faire un dépôt pour la serviette de bain, il faut apporter ses articles de toilette (savon etc...)

Excellent. The place was great! Staff were accommodating and friendly. Clean facilities.

The place was great! Staff were accommodating and friendly. The place is very secure which i like, I feel safe. The room was small but enough for myself and I don’t have a problem with it. Washroom was maintained and cleaned regularly. I’ll come back

Bon séjour malgré un personnel très désagréable

- Proximité avec le centre-ville, emplacement parfait - Demi-pension bien pratique et très correcte - Beaucoup de SDB disponibles par étage - Chambres pratiques et bien aménagées - Possibilité d’emprunter serviette et cadenas contre caution de 20$ - Bonne ambiance à l’auberge - SDB bien pensées

- Rarement connu un personnel aussi désagréable dans toute ma vie. J’ai eu affaire à deux femmes différentes à la réception, les deux n’étaient pas disposées à m’aider, semblaient être agacées par mes questions, ne voulait rien m’expliquer (pas même me montrer par où accéder aux chambres !), ne disaient même ni bonjour ni au-revoir ni merci !! Le premier jour on m’a donné la mauvaise clé, après avoir essayé 10mn d’ouvrir la porte je l’ai signalé et la femme à la réception m’a répondu que je ne savais pas ouvrir une porte et que c’était sûrement moi qui le faisait mal ! Alors que c’était elle qui c’était trompée de clé et qui m’en a ensuite donné une autre, sans s’excuser bien sûr… Le strict minimum de la politesse n’est pas atteint, et le personnel est carrément désagréable. - La caution pour les serviettes et cadenas ne peut être rendue qu’en liquide, même si vous aviez payé en carte (embêtant car je quittais le Canada et n’allait pas utiliser ce liquide) - RDC avec bar, réception et espace repas sale, le sol est collant, l’endroit où le repas est servi est en plein soleil le matin (les condiments fondent) et ça ne fait vraiment pas hygiénique - Le personnel devrait veiller à ce que les couverts soient mieux nettoyés au moins une fois par jour - Odeur d’urine atroce sur tout le dernier étage

Pleasant stay with great value for the price, situated in a somewhat shady yet convenient location

Breakfast had solid options! And dinner was tasty! I really appreciate all the travel guides around that gave me ideas on how to spend my days. Though it would’ve been nice if the butchant gardens were there too… facilities were nice!

I felt like the staff were a little cold and I felt a little bit unwelcomed of like I was bothering them…

I didn't stay for long but it was nice, other visitors were very friendly.

Dinner and breakfast were included so it was a really good price, I was even able to leave my bags in a locker before check-in to enjoy the city peacefully. The place was a little cramped but everyone was very respectful and careful about hygiene.

Top top. Exceeded every expectation!

This back packer hotel truely offers much more than it costs and deserves one of the few 10/10 ratings that I am giving during my 6 week trip! Efficient, super friendly staff, awesome breakfast buffet, even dinner was included and 1 free drink! Perfect bed with curtain, light and storage room. Quiet location, good room temperature. Showers well equipped, enough wash rooms, overall mostly clean. Staff really cares, great friendly vibes, great dining room area, enough seating availability and I even got a private office room for making a quiet phone call. Given the very moderate room rate, this clearly exceeded any high expectations of any hotel. I’d prefer susch an environment clearly over any sterile 4 or 5 star environments! Big congratulations.

Really not a single thing except 2 guy in my room not respecting the clearly marked “quiet time” guidelines (11 pm to 7 pm), when they entered at midnight. Thus, I think this hotel should increase prices, inorder to avoid “cheap” or low niveau visitors.

I'd stay there again, next time in a private room if available.

Best value accommodation downtown. Breakfast and a light evening meal is included. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean and well maintained. Excellent location. Parking garage within minutes walk from hostel. Great staff - friendly, helpful and efficient!

The room was WAY too hot to sleep, apparently no cooling in mid-summer. Outside, very close by, construction and jackhammers went on till at least midnight. But I accept that some degree of noise is expected if you're staying downtown.

Welcoming atmosphere - very basic standard

Buzzing atmosphere. Complementary warm curry and rice for dinner. And a breakfast too.

Shared bathrooms were filthy, a mouse living in the hallway, room tiny and very basic.

Location is close to all downtown sights

The place was a bit smelly. The Kirchen could have been cleaner. Do to downtown area there are a Lot of homeless people and drug addicts who are harmless. But still gives an uncomfortable feeling

Noisy dormitory with people slamming the door hard throughout the whole night. Insufficient privacy in the bunk bed (no curtain covering the top bed). Insufficient room ventilation when the window is closed. Insufficient lightning.

Unfortunatly very hot in the room because of the heating Pipes (outside about 14 °C).

It was good overall!

I love the location it was really convenient for our plans. It also is great that they serve breakfast and dinner!

The bathrooms were not the cleanest and often smelt pretty bad. Maybe consider air freshener in them to get rid of the smell of urine.

Washrooms were not clean. Understandable because it's a hostel, but I've seen clean washroom in hostels before. Wish this had them too.
