the property was super nice !
we just didn’t like that the cottage wasn’t cleaned properly and you have to do your own dishes. the walls were dirty and so were the sheets

Nice little place to stay for a small family like us.
The heater isnt working on the original unit assigned to us so we have to transfer. There is no fan in the room but the common area.

Comfortable mattress
The toilet wasn't mounted to the floor, the couch was soiled, the pillows were paper then, the toilet paper was like sandpaper, it smelled, the hot water was gone in less then 5 minutes and had to wait for more while completing covered in soap, paid for 4 nights l left after 3 could not take the smell any longer constant headaches. It was very dated !! Would not recommend.

Living in a cottage that was further away from the city provided more privacy and quietness to relax at the end of each day's adventure. It was spacious (more space than a standard hotel room) and included a parking spot in front. Everything worked, such as heating as it was cold overnight, water (incl. hot) was good with enough pressure. There was a full kitchen, dining table, couch outside the bedroom, with plenty of space to put down your luggage, coolers, etc. Outside, you can go for a morning walk along the trails, do a little fishing or play some of their games, such as horseshoe throwing, volleyball, basketball, swimming in the pool, etc. It was great value for what you paid for.
Although we still prefer this setting than traditional 2 to 3 star hotels, some of it is a bit dated that can simply be fixed with a fresh coat of paint. The staff just needs to pay attention to detail, such as replacing the broken knobs on the dresser or clearing out the recycling bin as it was still full of empty booze bottles.

Very practical location for our family during our road trip to Sault St. Marie! Clean and comfortable, with very accommodating staff.
A few more kitchen supplies, cutlery, dishes, etc.
Only one roll of toilet paper in room. No paper towel.
These are not complaints, just things to improve. Otherwise, nice comfortable cabins.
Staff was very eager to please, and that goes a long way!

ROUGH!! ROUGH!! ROUGH! Cottage was dire. Rustic does not begin to describe. Linens were filthy and I had to ask for a complete change. this review is a public health warning!!

Privacy. Coziness.
Dishes were dirty I had to clean them and they didn’t have any shampoo or comfortable sheets and blankets

Glenview Cottages exceeded our expectations. it snowed both nights we were there and they were out plowing before we got up. it was cold and the heat was amazing and kept us toasty warm The bed was comfy except the quilt was a little strange and felt terrible. but overall comfy. In fact we are thinking of re booking in the summer loved it.
There were not many plates or cutlery which I was surprised at as the dollar stores carry some great ones that could have worked here . I pulled out a pot I could clearly see had been put away unwashed it was used for popcorn as it was burnt, a little soak and it was clean again. Odd towels as well only 1 each and no face cloths just another towel that was too big as a facecloth but too small for anything else! The wifi was really spotty I was thinking it might be due to the amount of snow they had as it was piled high and I think the signal might have gotten lost.

Very cute cabins with all the basics and plenty of space. Easy check-in and check-out. Was happy to be able to check in early :)
Good location.
Even though it's pet friendly, it wasn't very clean. Pet hair here and there is acceptable but the bathtub was dirty and the place really needs a deep clean.

Beds a tad uncomfy

Staff was very helpful , professional, and understanding, they gave us a refund for the issues we had with the first cabin. The place is nice , sorrounded by trees.
The "cottages" were dirty , and we have to move because in the first cabin we found bed bugs. Wifi did not work most of the time.
