Oceana Santa Monica LXR was an exceptional stay. Yes it us expensive but worth every dollar!

I really loved the furnishings in the room. Everything was so clean and beautiful. The ocean was right across the street which gave the hotel such a beautiful setting which complimented the ambiance.

The only thing I would of liked would have been more access to ice. An ice machine available to guest would have been great. I had to call room service everytime I needed more ice, lol! Other than that, I love this hotel.

I am little disappointed for this price this smell in a room is not acceptable .

We really like Patio and possibility to rent a bike.

Smell in a room was horrible . We changed a room and was the same.

Une belle expérience californienne

Nous avons passé 3 jours à l’hôtel Oceania en famille. Nous avons aimé les chambres (spacieuses, propres avec tout le confort et excellente literie), la situation géographique, le calme….. et surtout le personnel. Très professionnel, souriant, top. Encore Merci à Laurent, pour sa gentillesse et son professionnalisme ainsi qu’au directeur de l’hôtel qui amènent une French touch à cet établissement sous le soleil de Californie !

Rien. Tout était parfait. Par contre, Booking devrait signaler que le petit déjeuner inclus ne comprend que le petit dej américain 30 $ (très copieux) et que le café, jus d’orange ect…sont considérés comme extras. Attention les prix peuvent vite s’envoler.

We had a magnificent stay in this special , super chic, comfortable hotel. The staff was the best!!!

high quality , perfect size. unbelievable room. The staff was well trained, very friendly and fun. Michael and Lenny were the best.

no counter space in the bathroom. the bathroom is beautifully designed but relative to the giant room is small.

Enjoyed my stay but NOT worth the price

Great location in Santa Monica really busy and quick access to the downtown area.

Floor squeaks really loud and is uneven. Back alley behind hotel is dirty. There's no shower door. The air conditioner is really noisy. Walls are thin and can hear neighbors. Floor pattern and wall design made me dizzy.

amazing room, could have better staff

room is amazing, the room is big, clear and new. the property is well maintained and beautiful. this is definitely a plus and exceeded our expectations. the location is also very good, although is not close to the pier and more touristic attractions, we loved it as it was less crowded and still 10/15 min walking distance from everything.

I'd like to highlight 2 negative experiences that we had. we're traveling with our toddler (2 yo), and I booked 1 room for 3 people (2 adults and 1 child), I specifically choose Oceana because I saw that the room was much bigger than other properties and when I booked, I sent a message asking for a rollaway bed, the message was never answered and upon check in they let us know that there was a 100 usd fee per night for the rollaway bed. The other experience is that we were accommodated in a room that were accessible through a flight of stairs, so we literally had to carry the stroller every time we left and arrived in our room. It's a pretty expensive hotel to not pay attention to this kind of details, plus the service at the restaurant was veeery slow.

Best hotel in Santa Monica! Gorgeous suites and rooms. Excellent staff! Great restaurant with poolside services. It was a dream! Great for kids and families.

Nive pool for kids but loud at night if eating or drinking there.

For advertising a kitchen It had very few appliances and very small. Plugs didn’t work. Had to ask for everything kettle tea dressing gown toaster sugar milk. Then it came.

no cleaning of the room for a whole day, asked for cleaning at 6 pm after all day out… 1 hour after got a lady with 2 towels and still no cleaning. room service forgot some of the food ordered…

Loved it worth it would do it again. Friendly helpful supportive awesome location.

Pool and everything at your finger tips. Room was awesome. Liked the food and BK. Liked the service and staff and very very friendly and helpful.

Would be nice soaker tub or hot tub and ceiling fans for a breeze.

hotel put us in a far less room than we booked, while the room we booked remained empty. I let the manager and also Booking.com know and they apologized for the “misunderstanding” offered no reasonable solution. This was the the third time I’ve been place in a much less accommodation than booked through booking.com, so apparent they are doing classic bait-and-switch on an Industial scale, with no consequences, unless there’s like me remove their app and don’t use them anymore. buyer beware.

A wonderful Few Days By The Beach

The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. location was spot on. just across the road and a bridge from the beach. There is a wonderful view from the terrace . Food was lovely but the staff were exceptional and couldn’t do enough for you.

It was quite noisy at night. It’s a small hotel with rooms facing each other. There were parties every night I was there but I could only hear it in the living room. Couldn’t hear it in the bedroom. The bedroom though was facing the road and the windows weren’t sound proof.
