המלון ממוקם מצוין מרחק נסיעה קצרה מהכל, חדר מרווח ונוח מאוד

The location was great. We traveled from los angeles to SD on amtrak and it was a quick walk from there.
I had forgotten a toothbrush, and the staff was great about getting one for me.
The air conditioner did not work well.
The light was out in the shower.
There was no bar soap for the sink. Only an empty box.

オールドタウン駅に近いので、レンタカー利用のない方は便利な立地だと思う。
フロントスタッフがあまりホスピタリティが感じられない。

Loved the staff, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Also loved how clean the hotel was.
Construction was going on our floor, there was a strong smell of chemical or glue, I have a baby and I was concerned for her health. Beds were on the stiffer side and pillows were too small.

The location and close proximity to Old Town was great, and the hotel was overall fantastic.
The surprise parking charge of $25 per night. The fact that it was not listed anywhere on the booking site beforehand is very dishonest and predatory. I still would have booked had I known that was a factor, but the dishonesty definitely factored heavily into my overall rating. Do better.

Close to old town.
The water in the jug by the elevators tasted strange.

Decent location?
Staff made errors with reservation and tried to upcharge me for a downgrade. Petty fees for “incidentals” and parking. Staff was incompetent and rude - took over 45 minutes to check in - despite being the first one in line. Tried to charge me tax twice, and could no explain irregular deposits. Hotel was in disarray. 3 rooms with Barking dogs right near my room. Trees around the parking lot dripping sap. Management was unresponsive.
I will never stay here again, or likely any Hilton, after this experience.

The place is immaculate & well designed. Rooms are spacious & clean. Beds are very comfortable. Location is literally walking distance to Old Town & the red line. Definitely coming back
Nothing not to like but, if I was going to nitpick, I'd say the bathroom doors. Never really like the sliders & they're heavy which could be a potential safety issue with the small ones (children). Put a towel down & the fingers should be fine

nicely decorated.
Wish I had someone clean it while I stayed there. After COVID this service never came back. The hotel store was over priced. Five dollars for chips seems unreal.

Comfortable. Near airport.
Paying for parking at the hotel-absurd
Pillows were heavy as sand bags and too big
Whatever happened to free breakfast?

The BEST service we had when we were there was an older lady in the AM who was our waitress at breakfast, very sweet and kind. Then one day we went to the desk and a sweet black lady helped us!
The bartender/server was rude, and the lady who checked us in definitely needs more training! We almost always stay at Hiltons when we travel but this one was unfortunately the worst one yet😞

Mainly the front desk staff minus one friendly lady and for sure the bar restaurant!
You are also recommended as an MCRD Hotel and your front desk knew nothing about the Military discount or were not helpful with questions and just said “ they didn’t know!” We were there 5 days and the best part about it was the location to old town.
Another thing that happened is we had 30 minutes before the pool closed and we were sitting on the couches and a staff member asked us to get up and TOOK THE CUSHIONS, they said homeless people sleep on them! WE WERE GUESTS and had a half hour before the pool closed!

Very clean, quiet location, restaurant on site, pool and jacuzzi were great. I appreciated the permanent shampoo and shower gel bottles in the shower that get refilled instead of wasting tons of plastic on little bottles. Mini fridge and microwave in the room which is a huge plus!!
View to the freeway from the room, rates were a bit expensive for a Garden Inn, parking lot didn’t have clear spots marked so a lot of people took up two spots. No espresso machine for my morning lattes.

The hotel sits at the north end of Historic Old Town San Diego and the Presidio. Just across the main road are several areas with shops and restaurants celebrating the Historic Old Town theme. A very good Mexican restaurant, Casa Guadalajara, is just a short walk away. Also a short walk away are the trolley and bus stops/stations that can take you to Balboa Park and the Zoo, or Downtown San Diego, or Sea World. There is a very good restaurant that serves breakfast and light dinners in the hotel. My room with a king size bed was a good size and had a large nicely laid out bathroom. In addition to the big screen TV, the room came with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The hotel staff was always available, very friendly, and very helpful. On site self-parking was included with the cost of the room and was easy to access and close to the hotel entrances. I had a very nice time there and will likely come back to stay again.

We really liked the room and location. The staff was very nice! We did use the pool and there were towels available. All was great about the hotel itself!
I wish parking had been included. I felt like i was already spending a bit more than i would have normally for just my daughter and myself, but then the parking was $24. It just felt a little like nickel and diming.

Front desk person Ana went way over the top to help when we thought we didn't have a reservation. She deserves employee of the month!

I liked the very friendly hostess in the food court, breakfast area. She really helped me out with getting buffet set up and another person allowed me to take cereal bowls to my room for my athletic kid to have cereal in case he missed breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Within walking distance to Old Town and we could not hear the traffic noise.. hotel is right on Taylor which is a bit busy.
Oh my gosh. So many things! I have an athlete and we picked this hotel because of the jacuzzi - it wasn't working the entire weekend. The gym machines had major tape on the handles and buttons were not working. Spiders in my room and I got a couple of bug bites. Ceiling in the bathroom splattered with brown liquid (Coke?) - did not mention this to front staff because I was done dealing with them. Check-in was a hassle because what booking.com had for my stay and what the front desk had for check out and for breakfast was not correct. Front desk staff acted like I was inconveniencing them. One gal even said to me that "well, you didn't pay for breakfast but we are giving it to you anyway and will need to note the customer satisfaction code on your reservation". WTF? You are worried about how you will be rated but are being passive aggressive on me? Locked out of our room on Sunday because keys not coded for the full stay and had to get new keys. No biggie but with all the hassles added up in my mind it counted. The only favor they did me was to mention I could park on the street instead of incurring the extra daily charge for parking in their lot. Breakfast was advertised in my booking for $15. I have my kid athlete in tow... if booking.com reservation says breakfast is included and I go to the front desk and they say I didn't pay for it... and I show them my email confirmation and my screen shots of the booking.com page AND then I call booking.com and they CAN'T REACH ANYONE AT THE HOTEL TO FIX IT... there is a super big problem with this hotel. Even the Booking.com agent that I chatted with said the hotel staff is in charge of their information on Booking.com and if it isn't updated by them - including the fact that breakfast charge was $24 per person, per day versus the $17 per person per day that they advertised AND was noted to be included in my reservation - it's a problem. Never staying there again.
