Lousy and Ripped Off!

Not much, very old and run down

We left after one night, bathtub did not drain from shower nor did the sink both were clogged bad, staff was not friendly I asked if we could get a partial refund since we left early which I contacted front desk the day we left and did not stay 2 of 3 nights and why, staff said no and had no interest in fixing drain problem or even hearing about it let alone compensating us for the two nights we did not stay! Never go there again staff was outright nasty kept cutting me off and would not let me speak !

I won't stay there again!

The room where clean and comfortable, but there was no coffee maker or coffee.

The fact that I could not get in my until 4:00pm. Now I know that there is a 4:00pm check-in. But I had booked the date 3 days earlier. And other people were checking in. I did not like that.

Go for the machines

The bartender, the cocktail server and her energy. The restaurant first meal that evening charged my card and had me pay cash. Still haven’t heard from them

Check in First checked me into a hot dirty room that seemed like it was being used . No upgrade for inconvenience or apology

This was my second time here and will definitely be back!

Love the restaurant in casino. The mattresses and sheets were exceptionally soft and comfortable. Enjoyed the landscape along the riverfront. Great area to walk dogs.

Didn’t like the worn pavement/gravel in the parking lot.

I have no complaints about the Pioneer. It is a budget hotel that is clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Diner has good food.

Since there was a concert in town it was all I could afford.

Room was clean, had towels and toiletries.

It needed a refrigerator, a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board but most of all needed a coffee maker and coffee! Furniture was a bit dated.

Cheap place to stay, but you get what you pay for. Very ghetto

It was cheap and affordable.

The rooms walls are paper thin. You will hear everything you neighbor does or says. The security is sketchy. They gamble off duty and get drunk off duty in this place. People leave their pets all day in room barking and crying. Housekeeping does not clean rooms unless asked, but they still try to get in your room to “Check”. I would not leave anything in room of value when away from room.

Might want to book a second choice

Right in the middle of the strip of other casinos staff was friendly, lots of security

Stood for 3 days, 2 of the days no television, had to go to the desk 3 times for new keys cause we couldn't get in the room, and last morning had no water for about 40 mins. Lot of activity in the parking lot

The bed had a plastic cover on it. It made it noisy when we moved and it made us over hot in 120° weather For the price not to even have a coffee maker in the room the ice machine At the building we were put in didn't work. We both had bug bites on us when we left

First time at this Casino. Highly recommended!!!

The room was great, rate was great.”Staff, Security, even the Housekeepers were tremendously awesome”. From the Front Desk, Security, Maids “very respectable and informative!” “I would highly recommend the Pioneer Hotel!”

When the maids clean the shower you have to run the water to clean it. I showered in gunk for 2 days! That’s the only problem I had. Other than that everything else was great! Some kind of compensation would be nice!

The price was good, and the river view.

There was a water line broke in the casino, had to find somewhere else to go and get dinner. Ask the hotel if there was something they could do to compensate. And no one would help. So we won't be going back to that hotel...

The New Pioneer

Bumbleberry Flats Cafe served a good meal..large portions. Staff very friendly (Hanni)! Nice views looking at the Colorado River ie..walkway..beach area Buildings indicative of "the old west" Mini Las Vegas feel..

Wasn't sure what to expect for a casino..but...Rooms were decent enough but certainly could use airing out..stale stagnant smell. Front door lock..dead bolt not working well..not secure..could use some maintenance..as well, bathroom door could use some refurbishment. Would be nice to have at least a coffee maker in the room.

comfortable bed

no coffee pot or hair dryer. also you could see light around the door and very noisy. Also I was by myself and I was put in the second building and I drove to the casino because I didn't want to walk to the room in the dark alone. Scary!!!!!
