I will never stay here again!!!

it was a last minute booking and they had a room.

The staff was basically non existent. the person who checked us in was on a video screen. My room was not clean. The curtains were filthy, there was cracked tile in the bathroom, the furniture was in bad condition and the bed was as hard as a brick. The television did not work and the desk chair was taped together with duct tape. The room was so dirty our family didn’t even stay for the free breakfast we just wanted to get out of there.

Very nice for a one nice stay

Doors to access the building are locked and require a room key to unlock. It is conveniently located on the outside of the city, making it easy to find, yet is still close to downtown Gallup.

It is located quite close to train tracks, however, we did not hear a single train during the night, so it really isn't an issue.

Friendly and nice location, minus the trains running all night. Nice pool and hot tub area.

Disappointing experience

Check-in was done remotely by people in India speaking from a central location. Very bad experience. Hotel claims to have free breakfast. Not true. They had only coffee and some cups w fruits. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not stay again at Days Inn-s in general because they all must have implemented the same procedures. The money paid was not worth it. Added after the comment of the property manager: I travel for business and vacation on a regular basis. I spent in 2022 about 50 nights in hotels. Your hotel was the one and only one that had this new "remote" check-in. I have been vaccinated, I do take measures to protect myself and others, and I do believe in natural antibodies to protect me. I do not believe in hotel chains taking this COVID as an opportunity to cut costs. And I hate companies that mislead people, so make it clear on your website that you have only remote check-in and explain what that is. Stop advertising free breakfast since you don't have breakfast at all.

We liked the friendly and efficient revelation we received from the staff. Very nice!

The hallway reeked of pungent cigarette smoke, though miraculously the non-smoking room we had was completely free of odor from the hallway. Also, "breakfast" was coffee and a granola bar. It should not have advertised as having breakfast for family travelers. Far below expectations in this area.

I liked that I was close to store and restaurants.

The rooms were not cleaned thorough, there was empty glass bottles left in drawer and that was the second room I was put in after The first one I was assigned was dirty with trash and a unmade bed.

Pleasant Stay

Was clean. had patio door for easy access to vehicle, and parking lot, close to all places we were going to. Jacuzzi, and pool, both indoors.

Needed some small details / repairs, but only aesthetic. It is starting to show its age. Will be an option to stay again.

It eas ok. I like Gallup, been several times.

Location is good,ose to interstate. Hot tub nice. Good room.

Very impersonal. Clerk on a screen in another room talking to you. Everything done remotely. Breakfast? Not really.

Weird experience

It was clean.

Really weird check in/out. There’s no one at the reception, you have a screen with someone in India taking care of all documents but absolutely no one physically to receive you or in case something happens at the hotel. Also, really poor breakfast, you have some granola bars and coffee to go.

I wouldn’t stay there again.

It was clean enough, good location. The staff was nice and pleasant.

It was misrepresented. On the photos it showed a room that was obviously updated but the room we stayed in was definitely not. I feel like I paid more then the hotel was worth.

Good

You might think about upgrading to higher toilets because if you are old it's kind of hard to sit way down and then get off of it. Also the toilet paper was about 5 feet from the toilet and you could barely reach it. All in all nice place to stay.
