Met a relative for a dinner that was very disappointing.

My room was clean and comfortable. Food was delicious although half of the meal never arrived at the table.

Restaurant service was poor.Room was very noisy. Server was inept.

It was alright.

I thought the room was decorated lovely. There were a lot of spiders on the walls and a lot of very old moldy grout in the shower. The pictures online are a little deceiving because the room itself was much smaller than depicted. Which is fine, just a little disappointing. I was a little thrown off that first thing in the morning when I opened my door to the main hallway I was greeted with the housekeepers cart… it’s almost like they were saying “get the hell out! Byeeee!” lol.. Otherwise I thought it was nice.

Lots of bugs in the room corners, lots of old mold in the grout in the shower. I was a little disappointed I couldn’t control the AC fan (I need a lot of white noise to be able to sleep.) So that resulted in me waking up several times during the night. I was soooo disappointed in the continental breakfast! The website shows pictures of eggs, sausage, etc, but we were only offered dry ingredients. The coffee and bagels were very good, so I don’t want to sound greedy or anything, I just honestly felt a little lied to. For such a lovely hotel and with the magnitude of the history here I just expected a bit more.

I’d look for somewhere else next time.

Nice building, room.

No housekeeping service at all during the three days and nights I was there. The breakfasts were awful. Really pathetic. Bad bagels, no protein except for some rather bad yogurt, bad coffee that wasn’t very hot. The staff seemed indifferent to the guests’ needs. When I asked the man at the front desk if there was housekeeping, after two days without, he said yes, and he’d make sure a maid came to my room, but he didn’t.

I like quirky hotels, so enjoyed our stay

historic, clean, comfortable bed, great location.

we were assured the night we checked in there would be a breakfast buffet. we were the ONLY GUESTS IN THE HOTEL, so the very nice manager brought out bagels, coffee and yogurt.

Love location and view of Seneca falls! The rooms are unique. Staff always very friendly. Food was great at restaurant. Our server (bartender) was exceptionally attentive and offered suggestions. A nice touch when she offered us bottles of water to take back to our room.

Wish there was better continental breakfast.

Everything was perfect, staff super friendly across the board and room immaculate. We had dinner in the hotel dining room and it was excellent as was the breakfast. A great experience and my husband and I will definitely be back.

I have stayed here several times since the pandemic and have seen the progress "back". (My daughter is a local college student) Restaurant/bar with a wonderful menu now available; 2y ago, of course nothing and not their fault. Regardless, our stays back then were still wonderful. This trip, our server in the bar was great and made a mean dirty Martini--so TY. It had been a long day driving, then towing my daughter's vehicle. I choose to not stay in chain hotels. I love the service and care that I receive at the Gould. I will always go back!

The sidewalk was not shoveled after a snow storm. (by 10am) Parking lot was done, but I had to drag my luggage through the snow to get to my vehicle. The city I guess doesn't plow the city parking spots either?? BIG RED FLAG SENECA FALLS: We come here and spend $; please plow the parking spots. I heard the plows MANY times on the street at 0600...TY! Plus: I want a frig in my room please!!! I like cold water and a place to put my leftovers from your awesome restaurant downstairs!

Beautiful historic hotel at a very reasonable price

Lovely old hotel in a historic town. The room was updated,comfortable bed. There was live music in the bar on Saturday. The food was great at the restaurant. All staff were very friendly. Brittany from the front desk helped us get the tv working. John the bartender was very friendly and attentive. We had a great time. The cost of the room was very inexpensive-additional online discount and the off season rate helped I am sure.

Breakfast was included but was continental. We just had coffee which wasn’t very good or hot

Very nice, eclectic hotel mixing old-fashioned touches with modern flair but not as many amenities as one might expect from say a NYC boutique hotel. But a nice ambiance.

Breakfast was fine. Hot scrambled eggs and sausage links, bagels, but not much else. They put out cereal but said they ran out of milk. That was annoying. And one front desk staff was just weird. Almost reluctant to be helpful, passive aggressive. Left a bad impression of the stay.

Highly recommend the Gould...I am sure when the "pandemic" is "over" things will be even better.

Lovely place. Comfortable and clean. Very friendly staff at reception and cleaning staff. Bar was open and was lovely to wind down with a drink at the end of the day.

Restaurant was not open yet. Limited seating in the bar area so not receptive to a dinner - more snacks. Breakfast was available Saturday but Sunday it was sparse, no coffee, no juice...very picked over.
