Kind of a disappointing let down, should have been a lot better than what we had.

The location is very close by to asilomar Beach and the room was okay but it should have been a lot better. The breakfast was pretty good. Happy that we could add more days but disappointed with the room and the loudness.

The cleaning staff was extremely loud yelling outside of our room every day and really no one needs to hear yelling from the cleaning staff. It's just was not peaceful there. The beds were super uncomfortable and the bathroom had no ventilation and no place to put anything just one towel rack and no safety handles in the shower and then you couldn't adjust the shower and it should have had more racks or something else.... and there was a big spider in the bathroom too that we had to kill. The room was okay but seemed run down and the upstairs downstairs people were loud opening and walking up the stairs. We asked for a quiet place to relax but it was loud especially the cleaning staff. And I usually leave extra tip for cleaning staff but this time because of how loud they were I couldn't see giving them any tip. I was disappointed by the room and how loud it was especially the yelling outside of the staff right outside our door every day.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. The fireplace is an added value.

Windows do not open enough to get rid of the smoke smell. Some renovation could be used. Breakfast is scarce. If you do not have a car, there is not much you can do around.

It was a great location and property! Nice hot tub and patio area with tables & bbq.

The downfall was having to wait for staff to unlock the hot tub area, it was cold standing there waiting.

Wish we had a longer stay !

Breakfast was good! Lots of options. Wine was a nice touch. Attention to details in the room was great. Had everything we could need!

I would definitely stay here again. It was a very comfortable and welcoming place.

The room was very large and comfortable, had a fireplace (which we didn't use, but it was there and looked nice), little extras like the popcorn machine, a nice breakfast, and it's very pet friendly.

I would have preferred to be downstairs - especially since it was raining. With our little doggie and having to take him downstairs to go potty regularly, it was a little scary. (We're 81 and 82 years old.) We prefer not to have to carry luggage upstairs now too. However, we had an adjoining room to my sister and brother-in-law, and that was very nice.

Hidden gem!

Very friendly and accommodating staff! The room was nice and open, a very homey feel, and very clean and comfortable! Just a short walk to the beach so the location is perfect. I would definitely stay again!

Parking is tight (not friendly for large vehicles), and I don't think the room had any AC, no fan of any sort either.

Exceptional

I was pleasantly surprised by the wood burning fireplace. Cozy room. Popcorn popper and supplied pop corn was a nice touch. Wine (happy hour?) was provided every evening Hot tub was a hit with my family and other relatives who stayed there. (We were attending a family reunion and a 100th birthday celebration.) The facilities are older, but well maintained and clean. We appreciated the free Wi-Fi and cable TV. A Continental breakfast was provided every morning:. Bagels and cream cheese, pastries from a local bakery, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, oatmeal, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juices. Staff were friendly and responsive. The location was great -- right across the street from Asilomar Conference Center (where the reunion was held) and close to Asilomar beach.

It was a little cold, but that was Mother Nature's responsibility.
