Very well-run by friendly people. Clean and convenient. We loved the Monticello!

Super nice staff, huge room, meticulously clean, light rail line in front of motel to take you downtown. A great value for the price!

The rooms are always very clean, very close to major transit line, adequate parking.

Decor is a little dated, feels more mismatched than cozy.

Clean, in nicer part of town. Kitchenette and fridges were nice to have.

Significant road noise (cars and train), heater had to burn-off smell on first use.

Great stay

Large room with full kitchen, clean and cosy. Great location, walking distance to bars & cafes, short drive to the downtown. There was also bbq outside and community laundry. Definitely recommend.

Mostly well kept up budget motel in area close to downtown. Thumbs up.

Odd drainage to ice machine outside of room needs repair. Though I didn’t need it, I’ve never run across a bathroom that did not have an electrical outlet.

Good value.

The room was clean. There is a train stop nearby for those who would like easy access to public transportation. I find the location perfect for a night out i the town, lots of stuff in a 3ish mile radius. All in all a good value and I will be using again when in Portland.

10:30 checkout is kind of early, I wish it was 11:30.

Convenient and comfortable

Spacious room. Having a kitchenette was a bonus. Well located. Clean room, clean towels every day!

The hotel is located on a fairly busy street so we couldn't open our windows- not much privacy there. And the tramline runs right in front of the hotel. It didn't bother us much but it may be something to consider. Overall, good experience. I recommend it.

The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. Loved the full kitchen in my room. I made blackeyed peas and cornbread on New Year’s Day. The owners accommodated my late check in. Great value!

Needed to stay near family. Discovered this place a few years ago. Great neighborhood location.

These guys run a clean ship! Everything is exceptionally clean. Everything functions perfectly. Its a simple little motel that a family takes great pride in taking care of.

I good place to sleep for less than $100.00. The MAX trail is loud till 3am but beers help with that
