Great location in Olympia

Great location with easy walking to restaurants and a great coffee shop. Friendly staff at the hotel and nice walking trail, around the lake, nearby.

Facility is getting a little rough around the edges. Particularly in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, but not good enough to justify the extra charge. Otherwise, a great stay.

very clean rooms, nice and quiet, great shower, great location, lots of free parking, staff was super friendly

The two main reasons I picked this hotel over another was because of the pool and free breakfast. I got an email from the hotel the day before my stay stating the pool was closed and would continue that way for the next few months. Then when I got there it was open, but I didn't pack a swimsuit because I was told it was closed. It listed breakfast in the amenities but said nothing about an extra cost. I assumed it would be free. Not even the coffee was free. And the "free cookies" are nowhere to be found. Should be advertised on booking.com that you have to pay extra for breakfast. Was not allowed to check in until 4pm and out by noon. That means I am not even getting 24 hours for my stay. I don't know how hotels keep getting away with this.

We came to attend an event at The State Capitol! It was an easy walk and a safe area for walking. We had many options of

Our King room 3rd floor was spacious bed comfortable quiet! Temperature controlled!

Coffee maker was too high to see instructions and see water levels but workable. Bottled water was 2.00 a bottle! We brought our own. Sink mirror outside of bathroom. I’m an early riser my husband not. Nothing blocking light from sink coffee maker or desk area.

Good alternative for staying in Olympia. By waterfront, farmers’ market, but walkable to downtown.

The staff was great—we had to cancel two nights of our stay because of a family medical emergency and they were both understanding and kindly approved the cancellation without penalty. The breakfast was fairly good—hot eggs, oatmeal, yoghurt, fruit, cereal, coffee. The room was comfortable and quiet. FREE PARKING was a great extra.

Pastries at breakfast could have been better, as well as having granola as a cereal option.

Great summer spot to share with family

Close to marina and farmers market. Mary at the front desk was very helpful. Comfortable beds & pillows!

Comfortable and clean. Friendly staff

One main reason we booked this hotel was that my daughter wanted a pool. When we arrived, they had just closed it for maintenance. I recognize that pool maintenance is important. My problem is that it wasn't posted when I booked.

Need to do better!

The location was great for the event we attended.

When booked, I asked that there be no down bedding due to allergies, and want the first floor. The return message said we'll do our best! When we arrived they acted like deer in the head lights. They said oh, yes it shows in the notes but they don't use them??? They wait until you arrive to do anything (mind you the person in front of us, they told them they got the last first floor). I said I asked for first floor at booking, and she said ok we have one left. What?? We had to wait so the housekeeping staff could change the bedding. Housekeeping told us inour room that they are never told so can have it ready, they do it when you arrive! POOR PLANNING!! DO BETTER!

Nice hotel, beautiful room, terrible shower and arrangement for hanging towels.

The location is great and the food fine.

The shower and lack of towel racks in the bathroom. The shower was poorly designed from a safety standpoint and you either froze or scalded to adjust the water temperature.

Great gem near Seattle

I stayed here with my family. We wanted a hotel near Seattle but not in Seattle. This was a great hotel! It was very consistant to all Double Tree standards. It was way more affordable than hotels in the city center of Seattle. All of the staff was friendly. The beds were very comfortable and the room was super clean.

Parking is limited. We arrived late so we had to park along the street, but I still felt safe parking there. It is set back from main streets and very quiet.

I won’t stay here again, but the staff was kind.

property staff was nice

no one told us the pool and hot tub were down and with two little kids this was very inconvenient. We paid a very high price for just a room and no amenities. Room AC would turn off and on randomly waking us up in the middle of the night. Water in the room was $5 a bottle. Elevator went down as well.

Great location, could walk everywhere

The property was adjacent to the harbor and within walking distance from many restaurants, including downtown. All staff was friendly and helpful. Room was extra large and super dark.

Nice but I expect more for the money.

location and quality of fittings and furnishings

rooms smelled like smoke. bathrooms smelled like it wasn’t clean. some ottomans looked like they were totally scarred and worn out. not worth the premium rate for this town. I could have paid $100 less per night for another hotel with same cleanliness

Not worth the money.

Great location

Had to pay for parking in the parking lot but wasn't garenteed a spot (payed for two nights but had to park on the street cause there wasn't enough spots. The shower was quite dirty when we checked in, there was spots of some kind of sticky substance on the TV stand, as well as the divider wall. You had to pay for wifi.
