Great place!

Loved the breakfast baskets! Also loved the outside area with fireplace, etc....it was so cozy!

Room was a good size and liked the fire in the room, firepit and breakfast hamper.

Some toast in the breakfast hamper would be a good addition. Also the spa pool wasn't open which was disappointing.

Proximity to town and nice restaurants and shops.

Because our room was on the truck route it was very noisy when the windows were open. Windows had to be left open due to lack of air conditioning. Additionally trucks were driving by very early in the morning.

The decorations and the breakfast basket

The first room I was checked in to was one room across the street from the hotel grounds itself and if you wanted to enjoy any of the hotel amenities you had to walk across the street for ice or the fire pit or jacuzzi......and it smelled like humidity and pets and or smoke was small and was definitely not the same room advertised on their website....... So I asked for a different room that was cleaner and smelled fresh and something that looked and feels like the one on the advertisement and that's actually on the hotel grounds not across the street and I had to pay an additional $15 dollars fee ..... I don't know why ther was an extra $15 fee but I paid it any way so my wife could enjoy the room I had promised her.....

Fabulous room and accommodating staff!

The room was amazing! We are so glad we upgraded to a view room, which was also cozy and warm!

It was a bit of a hike from Ocean Avenue after breakfast, lunch, shopping and dinner.

A little jewel downtown

Nicely decorEd, clean property, spacious room, comfortable bed, nice sunset view, hot tub, excellent an area around nicely accommodated with fireplace. Great location and easy walking distance to town.

All in all a great hotel in a great location.

The room was great. Balcony with a distant view of the ocean. The breakfast delivered to the doorstep was a nice touch.

The photos of the property (specifically the pool) were a little misleading.

The shower was totally dead. We were forced to use the bath however the soap dispenser was at eye level when stood up.

Such a cute welcoming room!

No air conditioning but it’s not really a complaint. Vacationing from the Midwest, it’s just more of a change of mindset! It was cool out in the evening but having a small air conditioner would have helped during the day

Lovely hotel

Hotel was VERY clean! Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stay at. All the staff members are great and they really keep the whole facility clean. Breakfast baskets were great, bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet and cozy!

The only unfortunate thing is that there is no A/C. The rooms offer a fan and ceiling fan but you will need to keep your windows open. It was between 68-70 degrees durning our stay and the room did tend to warm up. But the fans helped a lot. Would like to see a/c’s installed in the future. Also, parking can be a bit tight.

Loved the breakfast The ocean view was a sliver of the ocean through power lines and roof tops. Person at the front desk was a little snippy when we asked about the Concours weekend. She spoke as if the rates that weekend were probably out of our price range as we were staying in the 'economy' section. She may not have realized that we were restricted to the 'economy' section because we brought our dog. I guess the economy section is the only dog friendly area.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was nice - parking was great

Great location, great boutique hotel

Continental breakfast, coffee in room, view of ocean, bed very comfortable, location was great, shopping and restaurants right down the street.

5 minutes away from the beach

The hot jacuzzi was the main reason why we booked here. We liked the bathroom, the kitchen appliances & it was nice that they have free water dispenser by the jacuzzi area.

The wooden headboard makes the bed smells old. The bedsheet is not that soft. But we loved out stay nevertheless

The perfect couples place to stop to enjoy Carmel

staff went above and beyond in all areas. room was perfectly appointed. very quiet. comfiest bed. breakfast basket was varied and sufficient. outdoor fireplace area was just awesome! complimentary cheese and wine in the early evening. a short walk into the main town. was sad to leave!
