Quiet and great view, bed was comfortable and staff were friendly.
There was a smell in our room. The whole bottom floor smelled like a basement. I booked here over another place based on it having a pool but the pool was closed for maintenance, which we were not made aware of until after we checked in.

The grounds, location. Our room overlooked the tree tops it felt like we were sleeping in a tree house. It was clean, and beds were comfy. The restaurant food was very good, loved the charming atmosphere. The bartender made a great Old Fashion. The sunset view was nice. Would definitely stay again. We stayed for the Grandfather Mtn. Highland games.
Our first room assignment was down 2 flights of stairs beside the smoking porch 😞. Fortunately, the front desk was willing to change us to a ground level entrance. The Inn could use a bit of TLC.

The staff were super friendly! The location was beautiful. Loved the outdoor seating for both eating and for relaxing.
A clock in the room would have been nice. Everything else in the room was perfect.

unfortunately the restaurant was already fully booked the moment we got to the hotel, so we had to drive back into town for dinner.
breakfast was a bit thin.

friendly staff, accommodating, clean and cozy especially the fireplace! Love the location!!!
the INN is spread out so going to the pool in another building is cold at night walking back and forth. The message parlor was closed and was I looking forward to a nice message. Not complaining though. I love this INN!!!

The view is incredible and we were able to watch the sunset from a gazebo. Our server (Jake) at the restaurant was awesome.
The restrictions as a guest attempting to get food/drinks was frustrating. If you do not have a reservation for dinner you are not allowed to order a salad, even when the restaurant was 1/4 full. The tavern also was restrictive even though the sign says "open to the public." The bed in our room was not level and they do not provide daily service. It was also very difficult to find someone at the desk. For example, we had to wait until 8:00 to check out. We were pretty disappointed in many ways and will not be returning.

The beautiful fall colors and Boone itself!

Location and the fact that it didn’t look of feel like a hotel.
The sidewalk leading to the pool had deep chipped concrete. my 7 year old grandson fell and skinned his knee pretty bad, therefore we could not go swimming which was very disappointing. He booked with you because of the pictures of your beautiful pool.

The location is phenomenal, a gorgeous drive up the mountain from ASU, a perfect place to retreat for a family weekend. the grounds of the property are really well kept and picturesque. We stayed in the Inn our first time just about a month ago when we moved our daughter in and this trip we stayed in the cabin for ASU family weekend. The cabin is immediately beside the Inn but remarkably has a secluded feel with a beautiful view from the screened porch. I loved the layout of the cabin: the master was lofted up on the second floor in its own space, so while the cabin was cozy 2Br it felt spacious and private. There was a beautiful restaurant which overlook the grounds with lots of room to roam.
It had the feel of being in its glory a few decades ago but in the need of some basic remodel to get it back up to glorious. It would be a knockout and worth the money if it were updated. The pool and spa are oversold- the very energetic and friendly host host told us all about it, only to hear no therapies are available, the sauna was broken and the steam shower looked like it was clean but was old and stained. The cabin had a kitchen but lacked basic cooking preps like oven mits. so bring salt and pepper, a stock pot and a wine opener! The furniture and mattresses were of the 90s so they were just worn out. The stove was rattly and the cookware caked on years off stains from use. The ceiling fan in the master squeaked and the fridge froze some of our produce. The breakfast-again sold in an enthusiastic way as a benefit when we stayed in the Inn-was Costco muffins and adequate coffee. in my brain it could be so much more especially for the price.

The cottage was very nice and clean. Would stay again.
THE AC/Heating control on the wall needed to be repaired. Couldn't tell what the temperature settings were.
The gas at the fireplace was not turned on.
Called front office but clerk was not knowledgeable of how to turn it on.
Had really small TVs.

A little dated but it wasn’t an issue

Location is off beaten path but takes less than 10 minutes from main streets. It's rustic but modern for a relaxing stay. It actually started as a family home for a prolific architect, seems like a home more than resort. Overall it's a real gem in the mountains of Boone, watched 2 deers under our deck each morning. They hold weddings, reunions and such with huge outdoor decks and also fine dining if interested
Short but very curvy road to resort, 2 miles off main road.

Our room was perfect for a get away weekend with plenty of space and great deck. We really enjoyed how peaceful the grounds were and all the out door spaces. It's also close to a lot of hikes, parks and main street Blowing Rock.

The location was as promised, from our room we looked right out at the trees. The two receptionists, Cassidy and Kristine, worked to make our stay pleasant. I wanted to purchase handcrafted trees like displayed on the receptionist desk. Cassidy went out of her way during our two night stay to "track" them down, and I was able to purchase before leaving. The two of them worked to improve our WIFI reception. Breakfast was very good, and you took it to your room. The grounds were beautiful and wonderful for walks.
We will be honest that a wedding was taking place when we arrived, and as two weary travelers, the reception of very loud music and people's conversations was a bit much. Receptionist Cassidy assured us that the wedding would be ending shortly. Our room was situated at the end of a hallway which greatly helped. Once we were settled it was Ok, and we understand they also host weddings, but it was just a bit disconcerting initially. The rest of the stay was wonderful, and the staff was very accommodating.
