One of the best places to stay in ocean city

The porch is a great spot to have your coffee in the morning, the staff is friends and accommodating, the room was comfortable, the bathroom was newly remodeled, and the entire hotel is very quaint, I loved it

Won’t be coming back

Even though it was way small, the pool was nice

Bathroom needs repair work. No coffee table in living room or any type of table. Website is awful. I looked at pictures of a room I thought I clicked on and it was labeled wrong so I ended up not getting the apartment but the family suite which is far from a suite. I know it’s an old building but if there’s no elevator atleast hire a bellboy to help ppl especially to the 3rd floor. Website said breakfast, lol, yeah no breakfast. A room that holds 6-8 ppl shoukd get more than 2 beach tags and 2 parking spots. It was a little stressful but thank god we only needed to use the room to shower and sleep. I ended up bringing a blow up bc the couch was no good as a pullout.

It was ok

It was comfortable and quiet. When stay is on property they are very pleasant.

There are 3 floors to this property and no elevator, which is not listed in the description. You have to make a pot of coffee in the lobby urself, parking is not so great usually if u leave you can’t find a spot back in. Rooms with double beds are very small

Great short get away .

Close to beach and boardwalk , pool , very nice facility , friendly staff , clean , upkeep of facility good

The loud noises during night in room above us , kept us awake . It was supposed to be quiet time .

It was OK. I would come back if I were attending a concert or other event for an overnight stay.

I didn't stay at the Ocean Breeze. I was moved to one of their other properties, The Forum (I still don't know why), which was mostly closed. They told me I was being upgraded, but I didn't consider it an upgrade.

The Forum - Room was OK, but it only had a tiny fridge and microwave. I don't like mircowaved food which is why I search for places with a kitchen/kitchenette so I can prepare my own food. Most of the motel was closed because there was ongoing renovations with debris and dust, (I stayed away most of the day so I wouldn't hear the noise), pool was unavailable, ice machine was broken, the lounge was closed, nothing in the vending machines and the nearby resturaunts opened late and closed early (most were closed by 2pm). Thank goodness for the close proximity to the boardwalk and main street. Even though many of the stores didn't stay open late (most there closed by 6, boardwalk too), I was able to buy something for dinner and reheat it later. The ACME super market was nearby too but again, I couldn't fit much in the fridge. The few staffpersons were nice. I saw one of the suites that was being renovated and thought maybe I would come back later in the summer but if the prices that were quoted to me are true ($3,000 p/w!), I think I will pass. Way too expensive unless I get a bunch of people to go. I won't do that because I don't like sharing a bathroom with more than 2 people. The one I saw was a 2 bdrm/1 ba with a full kitchen. It was very nice though. Now that would've been an upgrade!

Perfect hotel for a perfect vacation

WOW!!! The new owners did a HUGE amount of work. I loved this location before but is even better. I like the new security locks. The Manager was knowledgeable and friendly. I will be coming back for sure!!!

We barely got any towels. Only gave us 2 big towels. No wash cloths to take a shower and no hand towel for drying hands after washing. There was no heat and we were cold. The price for one night without heat was a bit ridiculous

it would have been a 9 but the bed was disastrous!!

It was a great location!! It was great that they let you in before check in to use facilities and get beach tags and same after check out—really added to a short stay!!! All employees were very sweet!!

When we went to bed-I said I feel like I’m laying on springs—but at that point it was too late to do anything—thinking it was a really bad mattress. The next morning something has me thinking to take a closer look—and yes you guessed it—I was sleeping on the BOX-SPRING and the other bed was just a mattress.

Convenient walk to beach, friendly staff, comfy front porch.

Air conditioning worked well, clean, overall nostalgic atmosphere was nice along with the front porch comfort. The pool is small but just right for a quick dip.

No towels in our room, no remote control for tv.....not a big deal but I had to go up and down 3 flights of steps to get these things. We had a two beds in our room, however when you opened the door to the room there was an inch between the bed frame and door.......tight getting in. The smoke alarm went off once.....still not sure why.

Pleasant

Rooms are clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The site showed there was breakfast and reviews spoke about how they enjoyed breakfast. When we asked what time breakfast was served they said they no longer have breakfast since Covid.🙁

Passable

I liked pre registration and the room was clean except for the shower.

The floor in the shower was peeling up and did not look clean at all. It was in need of replacement. Otherwise everything was fine.

It was ok overall but they need new mattresses and wash clothes.

It was clean and the location was great.

We had no wash clothes and there was no table in the family suite, 2 of the mattresses you could feel the springs, they were very uncomfortable.

Proximity to the beach and great breakfast place that had been received

The service was poor. Never was anyone around at the desk. The room was not clean and the hotel service for the room was poor. The trash in the room was never emptied. Never received clean towels or wash cloths. To many stairs to get to the room and no bell hop to help with luggage to get up all the stairs

A hot shower makes everything more pleasant

Location was great. Pool was very nice. Loved the available parking, pool and shower after checkout. Kitchen is common area was helpful. Beach tags a plus.

Wouldn't stay here again

It seemed clean

Not enough parking spaces and had to park blocks away, the website said breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast, only coffee. They had a toaster, but nothing to toast and would have been great if they provided a small microwave to heat up the food we stored in the refrigerator provided in the room. All hotels provide hand towels, soap and cups and there were none. We had a room with 2 beds and got only 2 towels and no wash cloths, there were not enough outlets to charge phones, they should absolutely have a mirror on the wall in the room aside from the tiny mirror in the bathroom....the staff seemed dismissive of our concerns

Its a good place to stay and I would go back .

I love that is a comfortable easy place to stay . The room was clean and the hotel is close to most things.

The front desk staff was barely there . Even at check in time . 3pm on a Sunday and there is a sign that they would be back shortly. No one came till 330pm

The service was non-existent, and the total atmosphere was cheap at over $200 per night.

The desk clerk was very responsive. She worked with me to change my room from a veritable closet with no hot bath water to a more livable room. There was parking and the location was good.

There was no maid service at all (due to Covid?!) They said towels were on the desk for pick-up, but there were never any towels there. We used the same towels and linens for our entire stay. The toilet seat was broken. We knew in advance that there were no meals, but there were also only two plates, no utensils, no napkins, no paper towels, The accommodations were totally unacceptable at a cost of over $200 per day. We have stayed at this place in the past, but we can't in the future.

If anyone is looking for an Ocean City get away, look elsewhere. the ocean breeze is not the place to stay.

the hotel was close to the boardwalk and beach.

The hotel was two hours late checking us in, once we got to the room there were no towels or toilet paper. it was evident that besides making the beds there was no effort put in to clean the room. the owners should be ashamed of what they charge for the rooms.

We had a fabulous time while staying at the Ocean Breeze Hotel - would stay again for a short trip!

Location was great - close to boardwalk and beach! Room was a bit small and cramped. However, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, but the floor by the toilet felt like it was sinking a bit. We were only there for two nights, any longer and we would have really needed a larger room. It was nice that there was a medium size mini-fridge and microwave in the room. The additional shower room on the second and third floors was nice to have. And the front porch area was pleasant. Parking was also great!

The size of the room was a bit small there was only about a foot between the foot of the bed and the dresser and that was the access to the bathroom. We only recieved two "rough" bath towels. Had to ask for washcloths.
