The room was large and furnished very nicely.

The bathroom was the smallest I have ever been in. When checking in no one was at the desk and we had to text to let them know we were there. There is no cell service at the resort and the internet was down, so we had to ask a couple of employees before they found someone to check us in. The morning of check in, the resort texted us to see when we would be checking in. I told the between 4-5pm, normal check in times and we arrived at 4:05 and no one was there. The internet was down at check in so we had to pay cash and I had to ask for a copy of my payment. Check out time was 10am sharp but the restaurant for breakfast didn’t open until 9:30 and there are no other close breakfast spots.

The location was fine.

The place needs renovations, very outdated. There was no elevator in the building and the check out time was too early at 10 am.

wish it could have been better.

location. nice and quite and convenient

noisy window heating unit. could not get to much sleep. Also, there was a trip hazard going from bedroom area into bathroom. A 7” step up to a landing. Another issue was you had to really slam entrance door to assure closed and locked.

Overall, a good value and a nice place to stay. convenient to lake George activities.

all activities are unavailable after 9 pm. no adult-only hours in the pool area (which has ping pong table). no crosswalk to get to the beach across the street.

Nice pool and nice location.

Location is good and it is face to lake. They organize everything very efficiency. They provided all the information that we need to know and the activities we may interest to us upon our arrival. Pool and hot tub are very nice. The room size is good. They offer continental breakfast.

The facility is old. Air conditioner is very noisy and our room is close to restaurant kitchen so that we can hear the fan noise during the day. It is ok during night.

We are coming back !

Beautiful property, great location, easy access to restaurant, very friendly staff, welcoming environment, clean property inside and out, amazing pool!!! Continental breakfast was very nice, lots of options and tasty, family of 4 saves easily $50 on breakfast…. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay at DBR and before I could say I would like to go back the kids were asking when we could go back. Would highly recommend!

I actually don’t have one critical thing to say about DBR. One may say it is dated but that is what I was expecting as I read previous reviews, and I’m sure it helps keep the price low,,,, I would prefer an affordable vacation rather than paying for the newest and fanciest and what is most important to me is if a place is clean and it was very clean….

Good value for the money.

Nice location only a few miles away from Lake George Village. Stayed there because of the indoor pool which was heated and also had a hot tub. Not many other guests when we were there so it was quiet and relaxing.

The property is a little dated, but that didn't affect our stay. No breakfast besides complementary coffee or tea. The restaurant on site was only open for dinner at the time we visited.

Very nice resort off the beaten path!

The property was on the quiet side of Lake George with lake front views! Indoor pool and hot tub was conveniently located. The restaurant’s brunch was delicious!

Nothing in walking distance and the restaurant is closed most of the week due to off season.

High hopes dropped to no hope

Room heated nice. That it had a hot tub, pool and a restaurant on the grounds. Check in workers very friendly and answered my questions.

That the pool and hot tub only open until 9 pm. No elevator. Need more curtains for the window. No microwave. Morning workers- didn't greet us first in the AM. I said good morning first.

quiet location

the property was fine. The issue we had was the price for off season, what was available and the fact that guests have to basically do the housekeeping before leaving. A lower price seems like an obvious compromise but nope. just too expensive for this time of year.

I would never return.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Photos on the web site are outdated. Bathroom was a sink with no counter top. The dinning room had a wedding party therefore I spent my anniversary having dinner in an outdated bar. The food was frozen chicken and steak emm.

Great location away from the busy village

I was happy to find out that continental breakfast was included! The staff was excellent. Check-in and check-out was easy and fast. The view of the lake from the balcony was nice. The room was clean. We swam in the lake - glad there's access to it.

The bathroom was very small, but can't really do anything about that. The fridge was poor and the "freezer" portion did not keep my ice packs as ice. There was no microwave in the room.
