The owner. He was outstanding. Never had someone so helpful before. We arrived on Bicycles and he offered to take us down the street for dinner!

Fabulous quick stay- Sonny was a great host.

It was great for the one night stay we had. The bed was so comfy as where the pillows. The bathroom was spotless. Would definitely stay again.

A peaceful respite from the city

The outdoor area was lovely, wildflowers, gardens, picnic tables, a real respite. The rooms was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Bed was like a cloud. Very nice owners.

The property was adorable, and so quiet. My room was exactly what I needed it to be and so clean!

The water pressure in the shower was a little too powerful, but everything else was lovely!

Excellent! Fast and friendly check in with easy check out. Clean rooms that were well stocked. Roomy and cute inside and

Far enough off the highway not to be bombarded by traffic noise. Very cute and clean exterior with sitting area. Beautiful kept yard with garden.

I enjoyed this property very much and don’t have any negatives about the aesthetic. My only “did not like” was the price was a little high because it was a concert weekend and the hotel was not sold out.

Great value for the price!

We stayed here as a home base for our travels around the area. Bed was comfy, room was clean, price was affordable. Hot shower. Little electric fireplace was nice on a drizzly day. Front desk person very nice, suggested restaurants in the surrounding towns for us. Great to have microwave and fridge in the room. Quiet, felt safe. Love the neon sign. :)

Location was not picturesque or particularly close to much, but as a home base for our travels around the area, it was just fine! We didn't mind driving around exploring.

It was a lovely motel. It was reasonably priced and VERY clean.

The location is convenient to Saratoga Springs. It was very clean and the check process was easy & the staff was extremely friendly.

overall, i was satisfied with my stay

I was impressed by the nice and professional attitude of the owner who talked with us on that date. the room was clean and everything is perfect except the noise of heater ( i could not sleep well because of loud sound of the heater but could not turn it off due to the winter)

I would stay again. Supporting a family owned business is important.

The man at check in was kind and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

There was a hole in the bathroom door and some ceiling damage in the bathroom.

The man at checkin was very friendly and helped with some great recommendations. He was so nice! The room was very clean and fresh. The furnishings were older but the room was very clean and cleanliness is most important to me. Room was well lit and the tv had numerous channels. WiFi was strong. Good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

I couldn’t find an ice machine although there was an ice bucket in the room. Room a bit tight for opening 2 suitcases.

Budget motel had comfortable bed and was clean

This is a budget motel. In light of that: The owner was nice. I had an interesting conversation with him. He seemed to be helpful. I didn't have any needs to experience that though. The room was dry, free from odors and clean. The bed was to my liking - firm. My unit appeared to have have had all of the furnishings replaced recently. If you have high expectations, you will be disappointed. If you are satisfied with a comfortable bed, a clean and odor free room, as I am, you should be satisfied with Sara Glen.

Shower was a bit small. It is a little further from Saratoga Springs than I would have liked. Nothing much was an issue.

Very clean, well kept rooms in a convenient location. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was really clean which is the most important thing for our family when traveling.

It was really hot the weekend we travelled and kids wished there was a pool but the reasonably priced room and cleanliness far outweighed this

Clean - Friendly - Comfortable

My second stay here and plan to come back again. Bed was comfortable considering I have a permanent back injury, had a great sleep. Super clean! No odors, room smelled faintly of whatever cleaning products they use. The owner is always friendly, and remembered that I had stayed before (even if it was something that comes up in booking). He's great at making genuine conversation/taking an interest, recommended some great attractions and breakfast spots. About a 10-15 minute drive from Lake George Village or same in the other direction to Saratoga Springs - great to be off the busy path but not too far to hop in the car if you don't need to be walking distance from everything. There's a little strip mall about a mile down the road with a grocery store, pizza place, liquor store, and shop or two for easy access to pick up last minute items.

My first stay was in a different room, and in the fall with fair weather, so I did not notice any issues with heating/cooling. This recent stay was single digit winter temps and our bathroom was freezing! The hot water was fine and the room was fine, just the bathroom itself. We turned our electric fireplace (which is a cute touch) towards the bathroom to help with that as it was close enough to do so. It wasn't a deal breaker; we'll be back.

Owner was very helpful. Clean room. Convenient appliances. Location easy to find at night. Ideal spot to stay overnight before skiing in central Vermont.

Neighbors were smoking outside when I arrived and throughout my move in process.
