Location. Morning staff.
We got downgraded to a queen when we paid for a king room. No discount was offered. Refrigerator did not work properly. The remote had tape to hold in the batteries and was hard to operate.

The promenade was closed for repairs and there was no onsite dining or fireplace.

The water view.
As I was driving in on the day of check in. I received a call from Wunmi, the Manager telling me the room they had for me is out of order and they had no other rooms available. I booked this room back on 3/5/2023. They wanted to relocate me to a less desirable sister hotel a couple of blocks away. Wunmi told me the only thing wrong with the room was the AC was broke..... which I was fine with. After I checked I realized an entire outlet wasn't working, therefore I had no refrigerator, coffee pot or lamp. That caused a big problem because I'm a big foodie & I had no place to put my leftover food until I ate it. Due to the Inn not having a microwave for the guests to use, I had to drink their warm coffee. Wunmi lied to me about the condition of their sister hotel as well as the other items that were broken in the room. I have been traveling & staying in hotels for over 30 years and I have never received a phone call the day of check in telling me my room that I booked over 5 months ago was out of order. What was supposed to be a joyous stay turned into a nightmare. I paid too much money to be stressed.

Staff was fantastic! Put us in a great room with harbor view, even had a birthday card waiting for me when we arrived.
We met our sons for dinner, and the hotel was the perfect walking distance to all of the local shops and eateries.
We would definitely stay here again!

Buyer beware! Even if you pre-pay for your room through Booking.com, which should cover all fees and taxes, you will be charged $19.90 per day. When I inquired about this daily fee I was told it was to cover the “free” coffee/tea bar and “free” breakfast.

Decor, cleanliness were excellent. Location was as about good as it gets around the Inner Harbor of Baltimore and Fells point. The croissants in the the morning were on par with some of the best I've ever had.
Staff at breakfast was just barely keeping up. Surprise additional hotel service fee of $19.90 which was not disclosed by booking.com. The hotel blamed booking.com for failing to update the information on their site.

We liked the location, decor, staff and on-site parking.
We have stayed here previously and the breakfast was great. This time it was extremely lackluster. The coffee machine was broken, and it seemed like there were a lot less options for breakfast. We may be remembering incorrectly, but there also used to be a weekend event like wine and chocolate in the lobby which was no longer happening.
