King bed and bedding was nice
Valet did absolutely nothing. Never even offered to help my wife unload her bags from the car. Never offered to help load too. When I left I noticed my carbon fiber bumper trim was missing and had fallen off. Likely from parking over a parking block and scraping it off.

The staff of the hotel went beyond being attentive. My partner had left her sandals beneath a table, and he , on his own delivered her sndals to the room. To do this he had to fid out what room we were in, and because we were not there, but at diiner, deliver them to the room. This was a young man who was the valet.
It would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room.

Nothing
The front desk staff was extremely rude! She attack us immediately after we informed her that our reservation advertised a balcony in the room on booking.com. she refused to resolve the matter or give a refund! She brushed us off and told my wife to contact the manager via phone the next week. I will never stay there again!

location, walking distance to most places. The valet parking was well worth the extra money. Was very impressed with the staff when checking in. Eating breakfast on the sixth floor and outside was a great experience.
larger balcony, but it was nice just to be able to walk out on one.

Gorgeous views and wonderful front desk staff and valet. The location is FANTASTIC. Walkable to both city market, the Riverwalk, and close to trolley stops etc. The front desk sorted us out after a disaster of mess ups at the indigo across the street. They got us in and taken care of and we loved the ppl Antonio and Shawn in particular were wonderful to us. They looked after us and went above and beyond more than once. Do go for a special occasion and spend more for a river view. It made our stay magical. To stand on the balconies and hear the music and see the boats passing by was really incredible.
The price is very steep for the room value. If you have a room below the lobby it’s very dark. I would have opted for a cheaper hotel that was nicer. $400 for a dingy small dark room. . . The bar staff was incredibly rude and dismissive and the service was insanely slow. It took over 40 ministers for one to go pasta dish. (It was almost dead when I went in). I truly expect better hospitality from a boutique hotel of this caliber. I’ve bartended and worked in service for YEARS. It didn’t seem like they were warm, interested in helping people, or having any hustle for speed of service. It was truly disappointing. The staff for breakfast however was warm, and gave great service!

Great location, cool building, rooftop bar/restaurant.
Elevators were commonly used by non-residents heading to the rooftop or River street, which tied up the elevators and forced us to deal with loud drunks every time we wanted to go out . Additionally our room was one floor under street level and looked into an alley, which had some indigents smoking something for a good portion of the morning. We couldn’t open our blinds without them staring in at us. Kind of ridiculous for $500 per night.

Didn't like that I was charged for Valee Parking and supposedly got reimbursed. But never showed up on our bank account.

The floor in the room was sticky and the elevator was broken.

Convenient to river street
No parking other than valet at 39 a day. Elevators broke twice.... one time with me and my wife on it. Shower walls and ceiling had mold growing.

the staff was very friendly
it is extremely overpriced . I understand it’s a location type property but it was ridiculously expensive for a small simple room . the mattress was not extremely comfortable either and I have had a better quality mattress at IHG

Check in was the smoothest and best experience of any check in I have ever done. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate our dinner (delicious) at the bar in the River House and met some nice people from Canada and Virginia. Our balcony on the 4th floor was fantastic for people watching below. The location was perfect for all the things we wanted to walk to.

We love this hotel for the River view and the rooftop bar. The location was excellent for the riverfront and the town.
The Nest restaurant is noisy, the music is way too loud and the menus are wired. We don’t enjoy eating there. Would like to see something more traditional.

Great location! We only used the room to sleep. We had a great time. The staff was great the rooftop bar was great!
Room was a tad bit messy. The floors were a little sticky, and the shower seemed to leak.

location
The day we checked out the desk clerk could not provide a receipt and said she would email. after I didn’t. receive the email I went back that afternoon and she had me write down my email and I still never received a receipt. Parking was very expensive. The ice machine would not work on the 3rd floor.

The location and staff were great.
At the time of stay the top grill was closed for maintenance longer than expected. Also, some upkeep items needed to be called upon, but were quickly addressed.

River street
the room was very smelly I had to kill a bug plus the people above me was very noisy the room was so smelly I asked the front clerk for air freshener which did not do any good I had to put some oil under my nose in order to be able to sleep I left very early because I couldn’t take the smell I also wrote the CEO the morning I left Hotel if I don’t hear back from him I will contact the BBB the morning clerk acted as if she didn’t give a dam so I lost money on this room and will not ever rent it again one of the maids said to me after telling her about it she replied well you have to realize the building is old I told her I wish someone would have informed me before I rented the room.

it’s a beautiful property
due to being city side on the first floor, you can hear people outside the window from the front in their conversation.
