The historic nature of this property is noteworthy and has been home to 5 generations. The B&B is full of the family's treasures collected and curated. The inn keepers are friendly and put their heart into providing a comfortable stay and a great breakfast. Highly recommend.

The hosts, Darlene and Phil, were wonderful. This is a family home and is so very cozy, even for a brief stay like mine. My room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast in the morning was delicious; a real home-cooked meal! The family also makes pottery, so I came home with one of their classic Red Horse mugs, which I'm drinking out of as I write this. I recommend this place through and through, and will stay here again if I ever find myself back in Albuquerque.

We loved every minute of our stay at this truly lovely Bed and breakfast.
The whole family invited us into the dedicated homestead.
We had a downstairs room, with outdoor access to a private courtyard.
Darlene and her family made sure that we had all the local info so we could make the most of our stay in Albuquerque.
Breakfast was a real treat, homemade goodies, farmyard fesh and tasty.
Finding such a place has been our Route66 road trip highlight so far.

My sister and I wanted to meet up in Albuquerque for a long weekend and this was a great little place to escape.
Darlene and he husband were gracious hosts and breakfast was delightful!
The stairs are a little steep and the claw tub was hard for me to use to shower but I made things work just fine

The family that runs this B&B was very welcoming and accommodating. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The B&B itself is chock full of a varied items, including paintings by the family patriarch and an extensive collection of dishes and pottery.

Breakfast was exceptional and tailored to our needs. Our room was beautifully decorated and fully equipped; great bathroom! The property was extensive and welcoming with lots of hummingbirds, and the hosts gave great suggestions for dinner options in the area. :-)

This is a very pleasant, slightly funky bed and breakfast. The bed was great.. The staff was warm and sharing but would also give you privacy as you needed. They were very willing to share the history of the the family and property, which was great.

We felt very happy at the BnB. There are not many places that allow us to bring our dog but Red Horse BnB did. The place was wonderful and we enjoyed the animals and the great atmosphere in the evening. Phil was extremely welcoming and showed us around. The breakfast was delicious. Red Horse BnB is a true gem and we will be back.

Darlene and Phil were great. Very friendly and helpful. They provided some interesting history of the local area and the B&B. Breakfast was great- blueberry pancakes with plum syrup and sausage. You could also get eggs but the pancakes were so good I passed on the eggs.

Red Horse B&B is by far one of the best places to stay. Darlene and Phil go above and beyond to make every guest feel warm and welcomed. From the little details like snacks and chocolate always available, to goats milk lotion and soda in the rooms, they make the place feel like home. Darlene’s breakfast was absolutely delicious, and dietary restrictions are taken into account! Be sure to check out Carl’s beautiful pottery and artwork and play with all the cats and animals on the farm! 100% will be recommending this to all my friends and family.

People! Darlene and her family treated us like their most welcome guests. it felt super warm and homey. The breakfast was made in front of us from scratch and it was delicious. The room & bed very extra comfy, with its own character and special touches. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
The only thing that bothered us was neighbour running his very loud truck in the middle of the night. None of the B&Bs fault, but recommend having earplugs handy

We have stayed at several B&B’s in Albuquerque and this is by far the best. A beautifully renovated historic adobe farmhouse, with welcoming and very friendly hosts, Darlene and Phil. Our bedroom (the sunrise suite) was very comfortable and extremely clean with a brand new bathroom, fluffy towels, bathrobes and prepared with great attention to detail so that everything that we needed was readily at hand (plus for those who need it, fast internet!). Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious, including homemade preserves from the farm. The farmhouse is fully of interesting art, furniture and family history, and surrounded by a lovely garden with huge old cottonwood trees. Very relaxing and peaceful with a feel of being in the country when you are actually only a few miles from the airport or from the old town. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The owners. Staying at a local B&B is all about the personal experience and Darlene was great. I wish she ran every Inn I’ve stayed at this year, but alas then it wouldn’t be the personal experience my wife and I had in Albuquerque.

My wife and I have consistently booked lodging in Sante Fe, NM over the years and for a change we decided to explore options in Albuquerque. This was a highly rated destination and I must admit, the reviews weren't good enough. We booked 2 nights and found the B&B to be absolutely beautiful, charming, and serene. The grounds are very appealing with lush lawns, above-ground swimming pool, hot tub, huge trees, farm animals, and a garden which was utilized for farm-to-table meals. During our stay we not only savored two delicious breakfasts but two delicious dinners as well, all farm-to-table. The Sunrise Room was comfortable and private, the attached bathroom was modern and well-appointed, and the public spaces were large, comfortable, and inviting. Darlene, her husband Phil, and her father Carl were so friendly and treated us like family. We loved feeling so relaxed and even took time to read their book "Call the Vet" which was a history of the farm and more importantly the history of Carl and Donna Londene from the time they bought the farm until the present.

Charming home and family - not to mention the animals, the fruit trees - super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious too!
The property was wonderful, the outlying area a bit less so. Picked up take-out after a long day of sightseeing and enjoying dinner on the patio!
