Great Hotel

LIC Hotel is value for the money hotel for those who want to explore New York on a budget. It is very clean and tidy. There is room cleaning service every day which changes your towels and linen. The hotel is located in the quiet area of Queens, easily accessible and near to the subway station Court 23 Street which is connected to Manhattan in just 10 minutes. The breakfast is basic, but it is fine. There is nice rooftop with a view from the hotel on Manhattan.

Settimana bellissima.

La struttura e la disponibilità del personale oltre la posizione ovviamente. Lo consiglio tantissimo per la posizione tranquilla ma vicinissima a central park.

La colazione da migliorare. Basterebbe aggiungere dei croissant.

Excellent choice

The location of this hotel is excellent, the nearest subway station is just 1-2 minutes walk with great access to Manhattan and in addition, there is a direct connection to JFK/AirTrain Jamaica station. We had our room cleaned every day and got bottled water refilled each day. Breakfast was tasty and the stuff was super nice, you can leave your luggage after the check-out for free in their storage room. The rooftop terrace had a great view of New York skyline. Would definitely stay again.

Komfortabler Aufenthalt!

Super Lage, 2-3 min von der U-Bahn entfernt (in 10-15 Min. ist man in Manhattan!) Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Bett komfortabel. Sehr ruhig Nachts :-) Das Frühstück war lecker, vor allem die Pancakes! Nachtblick auf Manhattan!

Die Möbel waren etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alte Ikea Kommoden, was an sich gar nicht schlecht ist, leider war der Zustand aber suboptimal. Beim Frühstück musste man etwas Zeit einplanen; wir mussten nämlich immer etwas warten bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Trotzdem würde ich dieses Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! :-)

TUTTO PERFETTO

posizione ottima, vicinissima alla metro e a poche fermate da praticamente qualsiasi cosa. Colazione semplice ma buona e con un range orario molto ampio. Molto utile la possibilità di avere the e bagel a qualsiasi ora a disposizione durante il giorno. Camera estremamente pulita (con pulizia giornaliera) e funzionale. Fantastico il servizio di deposito bagagli GRATUITO.

Proximité du métro, chambre spacieuse, ménage fait tout les jours, rooftop, bon diner proche de l'hôtel

Manque d'isolation des fenêtres, chauffage/climatisation qui fait beaucoup de bruit (impossible de dormir quand il est allumé), petit déjeuner peu varié

Tutto ottimo!

Struttura Pulita e ottima per qualità prezzo.. si trova nel Queens ma è a pochissime fermate di metro (pochi passi a piedi dall’hotel) da tutte le attrazioni principali di Manhattan.. Carino anche il Rooftop sempre aperto.. Colazione Buona e possibilità di avere 24/24 acqua, the e caffè.. abbiamo avuto anche un piccolo problema con il WC prontamente risolto in pochi minuti da un tecnico particolarmente simpatico, gentile e preparato.. Sistemano la stanza ogni giorno.. Insomma, tutto molto bene!

Superb

Perfect location, few meters to metro station and it takes just few min to reach Manhattan. The hotel is clean, breakfast was nice as well. We really appreciate free coffee and tea during the day in the lobby!

The room was a bit small and there was some outside noise, but that's understandable for such a big city :) Also, there could be kettle and some coffee/tea in a room and glass cups instead of plastic - the same in a lobby, would be more eko friendly with glass cups instead of plastic :)

Really convenient location well served by a couple of subway lines that are a handful of stops from Midtown Manhattan. Good selection of food options at breakfast.

Hotel decor was dated and the bathroom shower door in my room came off its hinges during the stay.

Perfect place in Long Island, only 2-3 subway stops form center of Manhattan

We stayed in NY for 5 days during the Halloween period. The hotel is conveniently located very close to a subway station (2 lines) and 10 min walk from another subway station, also good to reach centre Manhattan). The room and the common spaces were very clean (and they change the towels every day, no need to ask for). The hotel has a terrace (where you can bring you food and have your breakfast) with a very nice view on the skyscrapers of Manhattan. Highly recommendable!

Nice and convenient stay.

I chose this hotel because of price and because of its location close to Manhattan and close to the next Metro station. I stayed with my two kids in the "Family Suite" which included a king size bed and a single bed. The room was cleaned every day. We really loved the view of the Manhattan skyline from the terrace and the Metro station Court Square was really close (200m). The surrounding of the hotel felt pretty safe and I was glad to have a medium sized supermarket at the entrance to the Metro. I consider the WiFi rather reliable while my kids were not always satisfied. Indeed, during one day the connection was rather weak, even with failing TV reception. Breakfast was quite good. I appreciated that they provide not only plastic plates and cutlery but also reusable stuff. Free bagels, coffee and tea were available 24/7.

First, the room was rather small, description says 17 square meter which is probably correct. Anyway, I would not really call the room a "Suite" which is rather misleading! In the room, there was only one chair for 3 persons. Some of the fotos are also misleading, e.g. the breakfast images. I stayed several nights but croissants, rolls or bananas were never available for breakfast. A high-end coffee maker as seen on the fotos was also not available. It would be helpful to have at least one microwave in the public space. A gym was indeed available but it included only some bikes and bar-bells. Nothing else, which was a little disappointing for my kids. Anyway, I would book here for the next stay and can really recommend the location. The hotel is welcome consider these remarks as a possibility to improve service.

No grandeur but a good value

At arrival, I was a bit disappointed as the building looks more like a motel than a NYC hotel. However, the room was actually pretty nice: good size, comfy bed, fridge, and I had requested a quiet room so it was top floor and end of the corridor. The hotel is just one block from Court Sq metro station with exellent connections to Manhattan. There are restaurants and shops nearby (as well as two microbreweries and a MoMA side show). Breakfast was included.

The gym had only two exercise bikes and three walkers in a tiny space. No bar or restaurant

Nice and comfortable rooms. I liked my view. The terrace is the best. Great location. Breakfast was okay.

There was just a tiny confusion with payment upon the arrival. That's it.

Rooftop with a nice view of the NYC Skyline, very clean rooms and great location. Free coffee and bagels at anytime during the day :)

We stayed for a week and the breakfast was almost the same every day.

Nice hotel, needs sound proofed

Very comfortable, large bed, great power shower, everywhere clean Staff all willing to be helpful. Only 200m from Metro station, and one station from Lexington Avenue in Manhattan

We got very little sleep over 2 nights because we were in a room (208), which fronted on to the main road, with apparently only single glazing. The heavy traffic started shortly after 5am and lasted late into the night, this was extremely loud, as were bin men and loud late pedestrians. I would suggest rooms to the rear would be better.
