Great Value and Location!

I have been staying in this hostel regularly for a few years now. I keep choosing it because it offers great value and location. Standard cleanliness and comfort that you would expect for a hostel.

It should provide more activities and discounts for stores/restaurants in the area. The temperature inside is very irregular. I've stayed in rooms that are very cold at night to sleep and others that are too hot. But I know they will provide extra blanket if you need it.

Lo staff è incredibile: disponibile, preparato, accogliente.

La posizione comodissima per le stazioni metro di Queens Plaza e Queensboro Plaza.

La poca possibilità di aprire le finestre per arieggiare una stanza discreta per dimensioni, e soprattutto un bagno senza finestra.

Great Value for NYC on a budget!

Great location! Awesome spot in Brooklyn and easy to metro to Manhatten.

Small rooms, but its what you expect for somewhere in NYC! No elevator which is a pain when you have alot of luggage, but fine if you dont. Check in staff were a bit cold to begin with.

It is a very good hostel to stay at if you are looking for a cheaper way to travel!

We loved the location and the friendlisness and accomodation of the staff.

The heating system was overheating our room all night. We had to open the window and endure all the noise of the city since we weren’t able to turn it down a few degrees.

My preferred hostel when visiting NYC

Everything is good at the hostel. Place is clean, there is a kitchen for you prepare your food, mattress is very comfortable, there is a 24h market just next to for food/coffee. Perfect place for who wanna be closer to Manhattan and needs to take the subway (metro) to the airport.

would be better if in the rooms the blackout covered the window to the ceiling, to be darker and and if had sound proof on the windows.

La sala común y los lockers dentro de los cuartos. Al menos en el cuarto mixto de hombres el lavaban, retrete y regadera eran independientes.

- Me cobraron 21 dolares extras al momento de llegar. Honestamente no supe de que era esa tarifa extra pero ya era tarde y solo queríamos dormir. La pague sin preguntar mucho. -Mi litera de arriba no tenia enchufe para cargar mi celular. -La regadera no tenía espacio para poner toalla, ni para cambiarte ni zona para prepárarte.

The hostel was easy to find, really close to lots of transit options, and had staff available at all hours for help.

Bathroom was really small! But about what I expected. There wasn’t anything else to dislike.

simple, basic clean hostel

basic, budget and clear accommodations with good location

maybe I booked the accommodations at the last minute, the cost is usd 500 for 4 ppl dorm, a bit pricy. good location but near train station ( a bit noisy) and hotel do not provide towel and blanket when check in , but the staff will give it to you when you go ask for the stuff. overall good but bathroom do not have enough hood to put your dirty clothes and clean clothes, towel and stuff

pleasant,comfy,affordable,great local near the subway

Beds were comfy and the staff was accommodating and nice. I was just there one night as a solo traveler, but I would bring my family back.

Keep in mind that the value of this place is unbeatable for the location- this is a minor complaint. Room was a little humid, I took my shower quickly to avoid steaming up the room, but it was kind of unavoidable. A bathroom fan or some sort of ventilation would be a great addition.

Good Place, nice room and budget friendly. Just across a big grocery store and right above the train station. easy to go to Mahatan.

People do not clean in the The Kitchen. If the hostel knows about this , more regular cleaning should be provided by the establishment.

Near subway. They moved me to frst floor upon reqyest. Nixe enough place, but 7-day max stay. Gotta go tmw.

Restless

The location is good in that it’s great for access to trains to Manhattan a short journey away. The kitchen area and relaxation area were nice and spacious.

I’d find it hard to justify recommending the place as the noise from trains very close by makes sleeping impossible unless a heavy sleeper. Staff weren’t very helpful on certain issues either.

Good hostel…but not for light sleepers

Really clean, great kitchen and shared spaces, plus good location— just outside of Manhattan about 20 min on the subway. Staff were friendly and helpful, and let me stash my luggage before check-in. Fairly good sound dampening on the windows which helped with street noise. Neighborhood was nice as well; two grocery stores nearby and lots of restaurants/coffee shops, plus a few street carts!

Literally right next to an above-ground subway line (as they mention in the description) and a major road, and it’s VERY noisy even with the sound dampening windows. If you’re a light sleeper you will have some issues. Also, lockers are fairly narrow and will only fit (small to medium) backpacks.

It's a nice place; you can spend a good time there. The Metro is just rossing the street.

There are no hooks to hang your clothes in the bathroom.
