A lovely hotel, front desk is awesome

The check-in is seamless, provided by Carlos at the front desk. A huge shout out for him in helping me navigate parking. The hotel is convenient to everything. Surprisingly quiet from exterior traffic noise. People on your floor talking, nope. Very boutique. The bar is fantastic!

Well, parking isn't really clear when the Full Sign is up. Apparently that is for people not staying. As a result, we spent an extra hour to find parking fine miles away.

Nice but definitely could have been a lot better.

Room wa clean and the location was great. We could walk to a lot of things.

First day was very nice. 2nd day there had an issue with the air conditioning. Instead of communicating the problem, management ignored phones. When my husband went to the front desk, management said he saw that it was our room and ignored the call then proceeded to speak Spanish with a coworker right in front of my husband. Rude and unprofessional.

A pleasant and enjoyable weekend stay in a comfortable location.

Easy check in. Location was perfect for us...close to the harbor, close to our favorite restaurants, close to our church.Easy parking, great restaurant on location, friendly staff, nice lobby. beautiful views in a nice neighborhood.

conveniently located to restaurants & shops

we’ve stayed several times before but this time was unacceptable. We were placed in a room above the garage with construction as well as street construction going on all day. We tried to go to the bar for a drink & we told an event was going on & were denied entrance. We call for room service & got no answer. We call front desk for assistance & staff was rude. We won’t be going back to Hotel Indigo

The entire staff was friendly/helpful!

The paint/wallpaper in our room. Noise from the hallway/adjoining rooms.Could hear people’s conversations 🤮. Needs a dedicated smoking area. Also restaurant needs a better inclusive diet for people with diet restrictions such as allergies/diabetes.

Great location, but small rooms and a lack of guest service attendants.

Location is fabulous. The hotel staff was very nice. The room was very clean.

They have no guest service attendants to take your bag or a valet to park your car. I had to park my car in front of the hotel with my lights flashing, carry my 4 bags up several steps to a luggage cart, push the cart to my room, unload it, and bring in back downstairs. Then I had to move my car to their parking garage and back my car into a tight tandem spot, and return to my hotel room. When you are paying $400 a night, I expect someone to take care of my luggage. Crazy! The room was also extremely small.

The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable. The staff was pleasant. The food at the hotel was good. It was near the water and old town, shopping and market. 4 miles from Reagan national Airport.

my only recommendation would be that they would have bottles of water in the room On a daily basis

Waterfront location is excellent

Location was excellent! Super close to Old Town restaurants, the waterfront, retail shops. Hummingbird restaurant is great. Courtyard seating is great.

It was a perfect hotel for our perfect weekend getaway.

We loved the location, it was within walking distance to our favorite destination, The Fish Market Restaurant and all of the other Old Town shops. Parking was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We'll make this our hotel stay whenever we travel to Old Town Alexandria!

There was no microwave in the room for heating up leftovers from dinner and the one in the Hummingbird was unavailable after their kitchen closed.

Great parents get away for new years , staff was very nice.

We liked how is was so close to the water and it was modern feel to the hotel but not to big it felt very comfortable and welcoming. We really liked brunch the next morning and got a great seat next to the window and could people watch as we ate.

We somehow thought there was a roof top lookout.

Excellent stay and experience.

Our stay was really quiet. We truly appreciate the hospitality and level of interaction with the staff. They were very helpful. Great location and place to chill and connect with your spouse.

It truly breaks my heart that I had to report this because my entire time was excellent. My wife and I were celebrating a special event and important occasion. I booked it through booking.Com and requested a bottle of wine and glasses in our room to surprise my wife. I also got a confirmation from them via email that they had confirmed it with the hotel. We got to our room and there was nothing there as requested. This was truly heartbreaking as I really wanted to surprise my wife See the email response below. Please help me rectify this. Nice hotel but not the greatest service

Nice Design and great location- right at the waterfront. Restaurants, Shops in walking distance

There was an alarm clock in the room which obviously had an alarm set for 5.58 h from the last guest in this room. So we were sitting straight at 5.58 in our bed and didn't know what was going on. Unfortunately after that I couldn't get back to sleep. Next morning reception person said, he was sorry for that..at least they could have offered breakfast or whatever for the inconvenience.
