"The cottage is beautifully presented and perfectly formed with everything you could need for a long of short stay. Tucked away from the road, the cottage is quiet and comfortable and perfectly situated for all manner of walks and it certainly made a perfect base for us as we spent 4 days exploring the Peak District "

My parents booked this trip for me and my husband for a wedding gift. The cottage is absolutely stunning, just the perfect size for 2 people looking for a romantic weekend away ... we could have stayed longer if we didnt have to come back for work! Perfect as a base to explore the peak district, or even if you just want to stay in and cook a nice meal. Whole place is kitted out with everything you could possibly need, even conditioner in the bathroom! The place was immaculate and the photos really dont do it justice. Loved Cosy Corner, and will definitely be returning at some point. thank you x

Fantastic location in a clean cosy cottage with lovely interiors. Only the steps were challenging for my husband who has difficulty walking. The quiet location added to the allure of the countryside. Just lovely.

Great little place. Everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, well presented. Good value for money. Difficult to find any faults. Owner easy to communicate with.
Highly recommended.
Area is superb. Great for walks and cycling along the Monsal and Tissington Trails and Manifold Way.
Found 2 fantastic pubs in Litton (near the Monsal Trail) and Butterton (near the Manifold Way). After which the local Pubs in Baslow were disappointing. Suppose that's a personal choice though.

We had a absolutely wonderful stay. The cottage is really comfortable, very clean and well decorated. We found the location ti be perfect. Quiet but accessible. I’d had some reservations about there not being dedicated parking for the cottage but we always easily found a spot on School Lane. It was a delight to go back to the cottage at the end of a day exploring. We enjoyed being able to walk into Baslow for lunches and dinner. And we were perfectly located for visiting Chatsworth. It’s a lovely flat walk. Liz the owner is very responsive and very helpful. We hope to return.

This little cottage was a real gem. It was all immaculate, decor was very fresh and looked recently decorated.
It was very well equipped and milk, biscuits, tea and coffee was a lovely touch.
Bathroom was lovely and toiletries were supplied.
Definitely was a cosy cottage and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful little cottage set up a stone pathway with lots of thoughtful extra touches.
We were very impressed with how clean the whole cottage was! In addition, the toiletries and coffee facilities exceeded our expectations.
The terrace area was a cute little suntrap at various points of the day and we enjoyed sitting out there with the sun on us of an evening.
Parking was easy on Over Road just round the corner and we were able to leave the car there for the full week, just walking out every day from the cottage to explore the nearby area.
Finally, we were pleased with the clear communication ahead of and throughout our stay, and found check in and check out simple and easy.
Thank you!

This little cottage was perfect for a few days of exploring in the Peak District. Conveniently located to historic sites and trails it is easy walking distance to a few restaurant options as well (make sure to check restaurant hours as some are closed on Mondays and/or Tuesdays). Super organized, spotlessly clean, it was perfect.

We stayed for a week in May, the communication was timely with lots of information supplied by the owner. The cottage was extremely clean and well presented (ideal for a couple or single person).
The walks in the area are unbelievably good and we had an extremely enjoyable 4 hours visiting Chatsworth House which is an approx 1 mile walk.
We dined at all 3 local pubs and at the Italian restaurant during our stay and all were 1st rate, all staff were very pleasant and provided a high level of service.
We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit the area.

The cottage is small but has everything two people need. It is tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and well stocked. We always eat out so didn’t try cooking at the premises. It is central with easy walking to the whole village and great eateries. It is close to Chatsworth. No on site parking but parking is allowed on adjacent roads. Would recommend.

The cottage was idea for us and the village had great pubs and restaurants.

Cosy Corner Cottage lives up to its name. We had a most comfortable stay there. The cottage is well decorated, very clean and with everything necessary for a carefree break. The shop and post office is less than 5 minutes walk away and offers newspapers as well as groceries. The village has some interesting vintage/homeward shops, many pubs, cafes and smarter restaurants too. No need to use the car after arrival as there are many walks around the area.

We had a beautiful 3 night getaway. It was clean and cosy just as advertised, and close to Sheffield and chesterfield if you want to put your wellies away for an evening. Really enjoyed it!

Lovely short break in a lovely village. Small but perfectly formed cottage had everything that we needed and was lovely and clean. Village had lots of places to visit in walking distance and we ate in a plethora of different places which were mostly fantastic. Some places were closed as it was off-season but this didn’t spoil our trip.

This is our second visit, and the cottage lives up to its name of 'cosy'. Liz provides some lovely extras such as an advent calendar, bathroom accessories and a lovely selection of refreshments... The bottle of wine was much appreciated. It is a perfect location for the area for walking. It feels very special to visit at this time of year as a pre Christmas treat, will definately be back next year! Thank you...
