Room was clean.
Hotel staff was incompetent. Double booked our room so we had to downgrade. Still charged us for the original room price and had to wait 3 weeks before we got a refund for the difference. Will never go here again!

Great location and friendly staff

Central Location was Good
No Pool, Check-in staff made no attempt to inform about the local area. Had to ask for a coffee machine. Had to ask for the room to be cleaned each day (although one member of staff did mostly ensure that was requested on our behalf.) Handle hanging off the inside of the bathroom door. Couldn't get TV streaming to work. Only one robe, had to request another, and did request more hangers but they never arrived. I've stayed in far more comfortable Hotels for much less money. The Roof Bar shut at midnight on a Saturday which was hopeless, and then shut on Monday.

Great location. Facility was very clean, comfortable and had a great feel to it. The room was very nice and relaxing.
Diamond, at the front desk, checked me in. She was the sweetest, kindest, most caring and friendly hotel professional I ever met. I've been traveling for over 25 years, all over the country. And Diamond is an exceptional employee for Kimpton. She does everything she can to help make the guests feel welcomed and cared for. She should be the standard by which all hotel staff be measured against. I was highly impressed with her, and will remember my stay at Kimpton Tryon Park because of her hospitality.
No complaints. Everything about my stay was very enjoyable.

The location of Kimpton was great. I enjoyed being able to walk to several points of interest. The balcony was a great addition to our room. We enjoyed social hour and working out in the gym,
Gym was in needed of clean materials in order to clean machines after use.

The room views of the city
At this price point I expected more comfort in the mattress and bedding. I would suggest an electric fireplace

Nice room and front desk service. Valet service.
Got woke up at 6am both mornings of my stay to loud music coming from the park after finally being able to fall asleep from the loud cars RACING up and down the road over and over in front of the hotel. I think the glass needs to be thicker of have some type of white noise maker or fan in the room to drown out the outside noise. As soon as you walk out the hotel all you can smell is weed. I know this is not the hotels fault but the hotel is not in an ideal location for someone who doesn't like the smell of weed(I know I can't be the only one). Also room service could not speak English and failed to give me any new wash cloths. Luckily the front desk is very helpful and provided me some new ones.

I liked the Location it’s near everything we needed. The parking was secure and available. The room was spacious and the elevators were well maintained.
Called for a flat iron and curling iron after and hour they never came up. Checked with front desk and he seemed less than concerned, I had to go to my morning meeting without the presence I desired.

We were there to see baseball games and the ballpark is a block away!
It’s a little pricy but very nice!

Nothing but the food
Very unprofessional. My friends car was broken into by valet and it was brushed off

Clean, comfortable, professional, friendly staff
Advertises free Wi-Fi but nearly impossible to use. It keeps cutting out so they offer a premium connection for a daily fee. Looks like bare and switch to me.

It’s in the middle of everything! First Class treatment the moment you arrive! The Lobby is absolutely gorgeous and the Front Desk Staff! So Welcoming, my room
was Beautiful with Robes that you can’t wait to wrap yourself in. Although it’s a Pet Friendly Hotel you wouldn’t know they accept them. I requested a non pet room which was honored No Problem!!
I Absolutely recommend and WILL return to This Hotel every time I return to Charlotte!
Thank you for a great stay
Nothing!!

Beautiful hotel within 3 blocks of the stadium, food, snd drinks. Staff was wonderful!
The parking for the hotel is a separate private parking garage. It is located right beside the hotel but costs 45/night.

Only stayed for a day but a great location. In walking distance to everything. Cute cocktail hour. Parking is located at hotel for a fee. A bit confusing trying to get to the main hotel from parking lot, but you figure it out.
Cocktail hour was very simple. For the price you pay they should be able to do more. Would have been nice to have the adjustable lighting in the bathroom make it brighter. Even with the setting all the way up, it was still a bit too dim.
