Hotel Congress is full of charm and character. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was great, friendly and knowledgeable.

The location. If you like going to the theater you will be happy to know that there are three theaters very close to this hotel.
There are no lelevators or a television set in the room. There is a television room, something hotel's many years ago had. We did have a radio in the room.the BATHROOM was stiny I don't think a tall person can use the shower. In fact I would say that it's impossible or very dangerous. The basin in the room looked as thoughh some horrible stuff was coming out of the sink. Three is nio kettle in the the room nd no complimentary rcoffee or tea bags you can however buy some nuts, etc. The room ios not cleaned every day
we arrivedwhen there some sort iof spring holiday going on with what seem to be people talking to each other at the top of their voices. We were woken up three times in the night.. the hotel dud offer free ear buds..
The breakfast was OK
. Unless you are into studying Dillenger 's merry band of desperado s that got caught in the hotel when a fire started in the hestabl and people could not understand why thr bags that Dillinger had were so heavy because they were full of rifles and guns as well as ammunition.
I do not think that we will be going back to this establishment.

Breakfast is good - the Congress events are good and the location is perfect
Nice vibe if you want the old flavors snd it’s good to be near all the downtown action and the events at the hotel but no tv? The heating was not good, bad showers and the rooms are small - also it did not bother me but the music from the disco is not good if you want a quiet vibe

It rulz!
Noisy as hell but whatever

The location is amazing which I'm sure everyone knows already. The drinks from the downstairs bar by Riley were amazing and consistent everytime and the Cafe and night club are just as equally impressive. Although they say it's noisy until 2 am the room we stayed in was honestly pretty quiet. We were able to get a good night's sleep despite the activity going on under us.
The rooms were tiny and the floors dipped and creaked everywhere. The water would pool in the sink in the bathroom and the toilet doesn't flush properly unless you hold the handle down for the duration of the flush. You're definitely paying for the convenience and aesthetics.. overall for one night it wasn't bad and they have a lot to offer in terms of entertainment.

The breakfast was great and lots of it. We could have split one.
Very loud downstairs. Four or more bar's going until one or two AM.

Fantastic location, gorgeous historic building with loads of original features, lovely staff, live music downstairs in the evening.
Small (double/full) bed. The shower had terrible water pressure and the temperature oscillated between cold and too hot to stand under depending (I assume) on who else in the building had turned taps on.

Really interesting decor, cool rockabilly Western vibe. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. One of the last American hotels with real character. Great rate in the summer, surprised it was one of the more affordable hotels in Tucson. Discounted parking at an underground lot across the street, felt safer than parking on the street down.
I didn't think the place was nearly as loud as other reviews said, but super light sleepers should probably just come for the bar and the outdoor concerts.

Excellent location if one is interested in exploring the historic downtown. Staff was exceptionally friendly and very professional. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was exceptionally small. The elevator did not working and there were a lot of stairs to reach the hotel rooms which were on the second floor. The rooms did not have a tv.

super cool, old style but the water pressure definitely seemed old style
the man working check in when we got there was extremely rude.

we liked that everything was close and that there was a restaurant inside
staff was rude and never explained why they over charged me for an added day.

great hotel, great location, great restaurant and bar, loved the live music!
the room was very basic, this is what we were looking for but for the price I was expecting a little more. the rooms are noisy - we didn’t care but some might find it harder to sleep when there are performances outside.
